This is third book in the Protecting Her Curves series. I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.
Jessie Mason grew up with a rich father but that’s all he was, never really around and when he was she and her brother witnessed the abuse her mum suffered. Trust isn’t something that comes easily to her when it comes to men so when her mum sets her up on a blind date she reluctantly agrees however it’s not the date she was expecting, especially when she discovers its with a woman. Cut when she introduces her to her brother the plan changes. Things are never what they seem and when she discovers things about Xavier can she put her heart in his hands or should she run?
Xavier only went along on his systems date to make sure she was going to be ok but one look at Jessie as she walks down the stairs he knows he is seeing his future wife. But he has secrets and these are secrets that could destroy any chance he had with her, will she let him explain or run screaming for the hills?
Great story and all the characters had fantastic chemistry, with a little danger and a little steam definitely worth a read. 4 🌟 read for me.

This is another fast fun read in this series They take less than an hour to read and are perfect for when you don't have a lot of time
Xander is very protective of his sister Samantha so when one of her clients sets her up on a blind date with her daughter he tags along to make sure everything goes great The only problem is that Jessie isn't gay so would never date Samantha but she is interested in the brother that tags along and the feeling is mutual. The only problem is that Xander is a convicted he was charged with murder and it didn't matter that the man he killed was a sex trafficker he confesses his past to Jessie hoping that she will except him and give him the future he wants but once again danger will circle as Xander's past puts Jessie in danger Can he keep her safe and do they have a future together.

It was a good story, but it could really use an edit. It's not so much that it's unreadable or not enjoyable, but there were several times I'd read a line and ask myself, "what?" I wasn't sure why Jessie's brother didn't make an appearance other than at the wedding either. When cops are needed, and your brother who was also the hero of the previous book is a cop, why the heck isn't he at least on scene? Why was he not checking out the hero of this book, not just picking Jessie up, but a pissing contest? Just felt like a wasted opportunity is all.

This was a free a ARC copy from one of my favorite authors to read for/booksprout for my voluntary honest review of this read and I really enjoyed it! Once I picked this up I just keeped reading til the last page & it was a really great read and very steamyyy hot.With a great storyline & great characters to read about, plus like I said it's very steamyyy hot!!! *Spoilers Tag-Xavier can't believe his eyes when he meets Jessie on a blind date that wasn't his & realizes that she's "The One".He wants to get to know her better as soon as possible. But Xavier has a big secret that he's not sure Jessie can handle & he's not sure that he can handle her walking away if she knew.He knows that he loves her & they will be married one day, now he just has to make sure that she's on the same page.I laughed so hard w/the whole blind date situation while also cringing a bit.Jessie giving Xavier a chance to explain about his secret before cutting him off completely was awesome & really brave.* I loved their happy ever after.Everyone should read this short steamyyy hot curvy read, it's also entertaining. So I hope you all enjoy it too!!!

I liked this story a lot. It was short but entertaining. The characters were interesting and pretty amusing. I totally loved Jessie's mom setting her up on a blind date that wasn't really what Jessie was expecting.

First things first; I really like the cover of this book!
Brazen is book three in the ‘’protecting her curves’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. When Jessie’s mother sets her up on a blind date, she isn’t happy. When the date ends up going weird, she ends up with Xavier. Xavier hasn’t long since been released from prison. When he vets his sister’s date, he doesn’t expect to want her.
The chemistry between Jessie and Xavier is clear to see and I loved them together. They made a cute couple. I liked that Jessie gave Xavier a chance to explain. I also liked that she gave him a chance.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

Jessie hasn't been dating, so her mother "assumes" that she's a lesbian and sets her up on a date with a woman. But when she meets Sam's brother, Xavier - just wow! She has issues with his past, but they move beyond that. There is some drama with someone from his past, but soon they're headed for the happy ending they both deserve. This book is short and sweet and steamy. I'm impressed with Jessie , that she takes the time to listen to Xavier's side of the story of his past, and makes her own decision about letting him into her heart and life. Xavier seems like he's put his troubles behind him, and is moving forward on the straight and narrow. I really love the afterword hat the author added at the very end.

Jessie's mom is setting her up however she didn't realize until it was too late that her mother that she was a lesbian until she sat down. Xavier came with his sister for the set up never imagining that he would find the one. He gives her his number and they talk and plan to meet up for coffee until she looks him up as they are talking and learns who he is exactly. Then he is to practically beg her to give him a chance. Jessie takes a chance with Xavier even with his past she just hopes she doesn't regret it. Can they have a future together? Is he the man for her?
This is a great story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the third book in the Protecting Her Curves series. In this book, Jessie is set up on a blind date by her mother, only her date turns out to be a woman. Jessie tells her mother she is not gay and luckily her date, Samantha laughs it off. Samantha had brought her brother Xander along just in case and because he is overprotective of her. When Xander sees Jessie, he knows she is the one for him. Xander has a past and Jessie agrees to hear him out about things and then decide if she can be with him. Jessie is nervous about Xander, but she also feels safe with him, so she agrees to get coffee with him so he can tell her about his past. I really enjoyed this book. I liked that Jessie was willing to hear Xander's side of things. Xander was a good guy and I'm glad Jessie saw that. Well done.

Jessie is a curvy young woman whose mom, with only her best interests at heart, sets her up on a blind date with her gym instructor. Jessie is surprised when she walks down the stairs and sees a sexy, hot man sitting at the dining room table, along with a young woman. Jessie cannot take her eyes of Xavier, and the same goes for him. He falls head over heels for her, but there is so much more to the story. This was a short story with loads of overflowing emotions, heat and the requisite a**hole who has to make comments about why a hot guy like Xavier is with a curvy girl like Jessie. I really enjoyed this book and I look forward to reading more from Ms. Blue.

This is an enjoyable instant love romance. Ms. Blue’s writing style is enjoyable. Her characters have depth. Their instant attraction and electric chemistry move her plot along. I like the plot theme of redemption. Her descriptive scenes pull readers into the story as if they were experiencing it firsthand. This is a captivating novella and I recommend to HEA fans.

Good short romance that begins on an instalove between Jessie, an intern who wants to become an author and a former prisoner, Xavier. There is a little note of humor in their meeting, but when she discovers that he has been in prison, she panics a little, then she understands his situation. But Xavier's past catches up with him, placing them both in a dangerous situation.
The story is pretty cute, with a hint of action in the second part.

This Book 3 in the Protecting Her Curves Series is a well written story that has intrigue, action, romance, and love that makes this book an interesting read. He can't believe his eyes when he meets Jessie on a blind date that wasn't his and realizes that she's The One. She is willing to take the chance if he is, but will it work. This has a really well constructed good characters. The characters are realistic and have good chemistry.

If you’re looking for a quick sexy read with a bit of danger then this is the book for you, I loved Xavier’s and Jessie’s story. Xavier gets out of prison after 10 years for a crime he did commit he goes with his sister to check out her blind date and there he meets Jessie who he wants as his forever. I loved this story it’s a fantastic read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

When Jessie's mother speaks they are both shocked by what she says. It won't stop what's happening between them, that is inevitable.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this quick story about Jessie and Xavier. Her mom sets her up on a blind date. But when she comes downstairs she's greeted by an insanely hot tattooed man and a girl. Only problem it's her mom set her up with Sam not her brother Xavier. When their eyes meet it's an instant connection. But his past makes a reappearance. Great HEA in the end.

Xavier has just gotten out of prison. Jessie is about to meet the date her mother has set her up with, but it’s a girl! Xavier went with his sister to meet Jessie but she wasn’t a lesbian. That was good because he knew she was his the moment he saw her. The journey to their HEA was filled with intense loving and a bit of danger thrown in. Exciting and interesting

This is an insta-love story with some secrets that need to come to light before a HEA can hopefully be reached. This book has everything you need for a great read, all bundled in a fast paced, quick short story. Enjoy!

There were a few things that I sort of scratched my head about but overall I liked this book and thought it was a nice addition to the series.

Loved it!! Funny, action packed, sexy and dangerous. And that is just the characters. This story has become one of my favorite. A quick easy read with a light hearted end. Very well written storyline that keeps you wanting to finish it. I highly recommend this book, you will not be disappointed.

I really enjoyed the tale on this story. A girl afraid to repeat the same mistakes her mother had ends up meeting a man that could change her life. It's sweet and steamy. Great characters too. Loved the plot of the story.

Optimistic
