Minimalism Sucks: Ignore the Zealots and Learn a Dogma Free Way to De-Clutter Your Life

Rate this book
Let's start your minimalism to de-clutter your life and be happier ; dogma-free and with the pure essentials only. Did you know that you can apply minimalism to books too? It is harder for the author to write those, but much easier for you, the reader, to learn and use the essentials directly without wading through fluffy pages and getting lost - getting lost means you will not take action. And taking action is THE crucial step you need to do. Now, and not tomorrow. Tomorrow is NO Action land. Change your life now and stop wasting time. I learned it the hard way and I am thankful that I took action. My mom was a hoarder, and even I was not one, I had a hard time saying goodbye to things. Luckily, that changed one day, and I began my minimalism journey without knowing it at that point. It wasn't a fad yet and YouTube wasn't born. However, it made my life better. And it works fine for our family of three too . However, I am not sure if I had even considered it when my first encounter were those YouTubers you see nowadays. Crazy zealots who go nuts. It is a nightmare and turns away too many people from an excellent idea. People who can benefit from minimalism and make their life better and living on our planet too. Somebody like you. Don't go away; minimalism can help you. What are your benefits you might ask? You'll get all of that and more in a dogma-free way and without becoming frugal. No need to live in a shack; except you want to. Join me in a personal way into minimalism without dogmas . Written with a minimalist mindset and leaving the fluff out. Revised January 20th, 2017

I downloaded this book for free on stuff your kindle day. Some good tips on getting rid of all the extra stuff. A few things I already do, and there are a couple things I would be willing to try out. Live a simple life, now where have I heard that before?? A short read, about 35 pages. He didn’t clutter the book with unnecessary words and chapters, keeping true to the minimalist lifestyle. I liked that.

“It does not work only for stuff; you can apply minimalism to any part of your life, be it the clutter in your home, the clutter in your finances, the clutter in your brain, your relationships, even your job.”

Easy and straight forward book about minimalism with a bit of humour. Dissing many people practising minimalism in what Boje thinks they are taking to long and think you have to find a better balance.
In the end of the book he gives practical tips.

But only 80% of the book is about minimalism and rest of the 20% is self promotion about his others books about meditation. But can't complain much about it when I picked up the book for free from Apple Books.

This book was a short, simple and to the point details. As the saying goes 'less is more'. So we should also consider having less materials in our life. The less items we have, the less we have to clean it everyday, and the less headache we'll have. This book has many great short tips.
Do give it a read.

If you are a total beginner to minimalism, then this book may be helpful to you. I am not new to this concept, so I feel that it didn’t offer much more than I already knew, but it does offer some reasoning in what minimalism means to different people and how it isn’t a one size fits all process.

Book is small and concise. More like a booklet or pamphlet.
