This was instalove at its best I honestly loved it. This is the first book in the Sawyer brothers books.

Carlie has a life plan and right now she’s trying desperately hard to save for her dream house. But recently her car has been causing her issues, taking it to Sawyers Garage she’s knocked off her feet when she meets one of the owners David. The chemistry between them is electric and when he takes her out for lunch she is smitten only when he takes her home it’s clear her parents aren’t happy. Will she be forced to choose between her family and a man she fell for at first sight because they don’t approve?

David never believed in love, growing up in foster care with his two brothers Lee and Mike he never really got to experience it first hand, but when Carlie walks in to his garage he takes one look and realises he just got sucker punched with the woman meant to be his. Dressed as an pinup from a bygone era she is everything he dreamed of but he’s a tattooed, mechanic who rides a motorbike, is there anyway she’d be interested in him and now he’s found her he’s not waiting to claim her?

These two were great to read about and I can’t wait to read the other two books. I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced copy of this book. 4.3* read.

I wanted to like this story but Carlie got on my nerves. I get your living with your parents to save for your new home but come on girl. She is twenty-four and acts as if she’s a teenager when it comes to her parents. If you want to date a guy with tattoos and drives a motorcycle then it’s not their business. This just made me have a hard time enjoying the story.

Its an older man younger woman Pure romantic story. And it was bliss to read.
Carlie knows whats she wants from her future. But she just wanted her little car to make it till she could afford to buy her dream car. Carlie loved the 50's era. She dressed like a pin up from the 50's. She had all the right curves in all the right places.When she drops off her car to the garage praying they can fix it in her budget. She comes across the most sexy man covered in tat's. He made her heart go bang bang bang!!!!
Dave and his brothers had made a success of the garage they started. They are enjoying life all they need is a woman to come an make their world complete. Dave didnt believe in love at first sight that was until this beautiful curvy woman came walking into his life with an awful car. He knew before even talking to her she was the one. The woman to make him whole. He saw everything a family, a wife and happiness. He needed to make sure his brothers knew she was taken. Dave manages to talk her into having lunch with him and getting on the back of his motorbike. This had always been on Carlie's bucket list to be on a bike and she loved it!!! Once they got talking they realised they had a lot in common and planned to go on another date when her car was ready But something happens that puts doubt into Carlie's mind. Can David talk to her and make her see that they have the brightest future ahead of them???
OMG I JUST FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS TWO AND I AM HOOKED ON THIS SERIES ALREADY. THE CONNECTION BETWEEN CARLIE AND DAVID IS SO STRONG AND THE CHEMISTRY IS OFF THE CHARTS. ITS JUST A MAGICALLY READ

Plot: Carlie, a hairdresser who loves '50s style, has a car on its last legs. She takes it to the shop, owned by David. He knows she's the one for him instantly. He loves the pin-up girl style, and Carlie is rocking her curves. But there are a few obstacles to overcome, namely her parents, who disapprove of both the age gap and the motorcycle he rides, claiming he's a biker and no good for their daughter.

Commentary: Carlie is a little old to be looking to her parents for approval of her dates. The problem is that she lives at home, so it's not like she can hide it. And I get it - I'm not one of those people who thinks you have to kick your kid out of the house when they're 18. I wish that more families lived together for longer. That would solve a lot of problems (but only if they want to be there). But I know it isn't always that simple. Anyways, she eventually makes her decision in favor of David and her parents come around. It's a novella, so it doesn't take too long.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the first book in the Sawyer Brothers MC Series. David, along with his brothers Mike and Lee own a garage in town and ride motorcycles together. The three brothers grew up together in foster care and remained together, living all together in a huge house. When David sees a woman coming into the garage, he is instantly struck at how much he is attracted to her. Carlie likes to dress like a pin up girl from the 50s and really loves everything from that era. When her car starts acting up, she takes it to the garage and David tells her he will fix it. Unknown to Carlie, David tells them to fix everything on the car and he will pay for it. David wants Carlie as his woman and he plans on taking care of her. Carlie lives with her parents and when David brings her home on his motorcycle, her parents don't want her to date a biker. Carlie knows there is more to David than being a biker and wants to be with him. Carlie thinks she is old enough to decide for herself and doesn't care what her parents think, but she starts to doubt her feelings for David. David knows he is older than Carlie, he just wants a chance to prove they would be great together. I really loved this story. I love how David was so sure from the minute he met Carlie she was the one for him. I think they were great together. Well done.

Carlie was hoping her poor car would last longer but the noises it was making made her cringe with worry.
Wow she was just wow the moment he saw her David was awe struck after all his dream woman waltzed right into his garage.
Carlie should have known the moment she walked in the door by the look on her mom's face said everything.But then there was that little bug in her head that wouldn't shut up and before she stopped herself Carlie was telling David that she wasn't sure about seeing him again.
However he was tenacious he wasn't about to let her slip right through his fingers without a fight.
To David, she's the perfectly wrapped gift and he wants to treasure her forever.
Carlie just wished her mom would stop being so judgmental about David she could only hope and pray she'd change her attitude after all one should never judge a book by its cover.

Loved it

Brilliant start to the series. Carlie who loves dressing in 50-60 style of clothing needs to get her car fixed once arrived the man that comes out to greet her makes her jaw drop he is tall, muscular and tattooed handsome. David greets Carlie and knows instantly that she is the woman for the rest of his life. Carlie’s parents aren’t happy about her choice in boyfriend but she isn’t going to let him go because of it. The day comes to pick her car and when she arrives runs straight to David who is talking to a customer so when Carlie turns around she sees it’s her father. David is surprised but makes sense now that he is Carlie’s father butte gets on well with him and offers David to come for some tea. Carlie takes a David home and though a frosty reception Carlie’s mum warms up to David when he is honest about who he is how he was brought up all Carlie’s mum can do is give him a heartfelt welcome to the family hug.

Carlie takes her old car to Sawyer Brothers Garage, hoping it can be fixed. She can't buy another car right now - she's saving for a house, but living with her parents right now. David and his brothers own the garage, and he sees what a wreck the car is, but assures her that he can fix it within her budget. She's the girl of his dreams - when you know, you know. Just one problem - her parents don't approve of the tattooed biker. I really enjoyed this book, and have already read the next one (Mike). It's a good story line, and the book is well-written. The characters have great chemistry together, and know from the moment they meet that they are soul mates. This is the first book in a new series from a new-to-me author.

This story was short and freaking HOT. It's an insta romance that involves a super hot biker mechanic and a gorgeous curvy woman who loves to dress in the pin up style. David meets Carlie when she drops off her classic car for service. First of all, I love authors that write about curvy women and big strong sexy men that love them. There's not nearly enough of them. David and Charlie do meet a bit of static from her parents because of his appearance, so it was interesting to see how JS would play that storyline. One thing I couldn't understand was why this series title says "Sawyer Brothers MC", he clearly wasn't in an MC, just liked to ride. So that was a bit disheartening because that would've added so much more to the book and honestly made it a lot longer than a novela. Other than that, I really enjoyed this book.

David Sawyer owns and runs an auto shop with his 2 brothers, Mike and Lee. Carlie works in a hair salon and still lives at Hime with her parents. She needs to have repairs done to her car. That is where she meets David. The attraction between the two of them is instantaneous. However, David has an uphill battle with Carlie's parents. This is a fast paced read. All David wants is to see Carlie happy. The characters have chemistry. David is very determined but has to contend with parents. The person that comes to David side is not who I thought it would be but knew it was the minute the scene was introduced.

Love in and instant thats what David knows after meeting Carlie she's got curves for days and looks like she stepped of the cover of a 50s pinup. Carlie has dreams unfortunately her parents don't agree with her choice in men he's blue color owns his own mechanic shop he's tattooed and rides a bike her parents are less then pleased but she's 24 she needs to forget them and make her own choices. A house and a car are what she wants but to have those she has to save which means living with mom and dad. David won't give up on Carlie she's his one and only he just needs to convince Carlie.

Carlie is a feisty, 50’s pin up girl look-a-like, sexy, independent hair stylist. She loves the era of the 50’s. She is taking her car in for repair. She meets David. David sees her and knows she is the one! This girl is what he has been looking for all his life. They go out for lunch after the car repair session. Carlie feels the connection between the two of them. Can this work? What about her parents? His brothers? It is a heartwarming, tender, sexy, crazy romance that will give you a good feeling and leave you with a smile on your face. It’s a quick little read.

This is the first book for a new series, Sawyer Brothers MC> This was a fast paced page turning story that will keep you reading till the end. With all MC's there is action, adventure, drama, danger, pain, fear, enemies, courage, trust with lust/love passion. Carlie needs work on her car and David owns the auto repair ship. He sees Carlie and wants her in his life. If the parents could stay out of their relationship then maybe David would have a chance. Can't wait for the next book. This quick read is about a young, curvaceous woman named Carlie who takes her car to the auto shop because it is acting up, and David, one of the Sawyer brothers, who own the place. When David first sets eyes on Carlie, he is floored by how strong and quick his attraction to her is. Fortunately, the feeling is reciprocated and there is no turning back. This was such a refreshing book and I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book in the series.

I really liked this well-written, insta-love, book 1 in the Sawyer Brothers MC Series which is a romance between and older man and a younger woman. It has great and feisty characters with chemistry. He owns the local auto and she works in a hair salon. She takes her car in for repairs and meets the love of her life. The story line is also good. I did buy the book so I can read it again. The author has given us characters that belong together. When David and Carlie first lay eyes on each other, it is instant lust/love. They each know they belong together but will have to convince others of that fact.
