This is a Clean Christmas Second-Chance Romance, and this is the tenth book in the Texas Rebels series. This book pulled me in from the beginning, and I could not put this book down. I love the characters in this book, and they where all very developed. I really loved Luci in this book who was a cute little girl that has some developed delays. I loved who much Bo really cared about this little girl. Both the main characters have to learn to see what happen before from the others eyes before they can move on, and I feel that is a message that we all need to remember in life. This is a short cute book that is so much more then a romance. I love that this book also shines a light into developmental delays. I received an ARC of this book. This review is my own honest opinion about the book like all my reviews are.
Cute, heartwarming, clean story. This one had a lot of twists and turns I really didn't see coming. The ending was slightly predictable, but it couldn't have ended any other way! A wonderful Christmas tale!
I received an advance reader copy in exchange for a fair review.
This was a joy to read. Linda gives a great second chance romance to read. Becky Tullous and Bo Goodnight where teenage sweethearts that were separated by mistakes made. Becky's little girl Luci draws them together again. There is action, food for thought and romance. Linda draws you into the story that its hard to put down. There is things Bo learns that gives him a different perspective. He grows and so does Becky. I love coming back Horseshoe, Tx and seeing the gang again. Its a great book and worth your time. J
Another in the Texas Rebels series, in which Becky Tullous is still dealing with her boyfriend in high school left her to go into the Army. Now she is caring for a three-year-old daughter who, for reasons she doesn't reveal immediately, has a special connection to SWAT sergeant Bo Goodnight. His relationship with certain family members also is an issue he has yet to deal with and which has convinced him that marriage is not for him. He's convinced he'd be a terrible father, even though how he treats Becky's little girl gives the lie to that.
As their respective secrets are revealed and their words of "sorry" begin to take on more meaning and sincerity, their future looks brighter--until she's held captive by a man who shoots her boss at the women's center. Bo and his team are sent to take him down, but can he do it before Becky loses her life? And, if she does, what will happen to little Luci?
Linda Warren is upping the ante with Bo and the SWAT. Lots of action in this one. Becky was kinda whiney but not as bad as some of the other gals in Horseshoe. On to the next!
