About the author

I have worked with high school and college students for over 10 years. I was first a high school classroom teacher (biology, reading and English). I then became a curriculum specialist, working on academic plans, professional development and testing (This is where I got all my insights on tests, specifically the ACT/SAT). In 2011 I became an assistant principal at Estero High School (I was the hammer. My job was to keep students in line). I then became a college professor, which I continue to do today.
