With all of Darkar's shadow monsters destroyed along with his fortress, everyone can finally put the ordeal behind them. Everyone except the Trix, who have miraculously survived the cave-in and now live within the rubble as wanted fugitives. Wanting to escape a lifestyle riddled with hardships, the Trix decide that the only way to regain their old lives is to erase everyone's memories of their past crimes. To do this, Icy and Stormy break into Cloud Tower in disguise to steal the ingredients necessary for their "evil wind" and soon enough, everyone in Magix slowly begins to lose their memories. Luckily, the Winx and school headmasters catch onto what is happening and seek out a way to stop the Trix's doing before everyone loses all their memories.
Now THIS story? This story is a perfect example on how to develop a plot to keep a villain relevant on the overall frame of your show.
The Trix decide to use a spell on all of Magix so they'll all forget their evil deeds, leaving them a free path to continue their lives as always. As twists would, said spell turns against them, turning their memory into a blank state and now they are "good."
Or are they.
Can't punish someone who's now as innocent as a kid, can't lock them up or kick them out.
And so the best villains the series has ever seen are back in the game.
9/4/23 The beginning of a comic original plotline of what happens between seasons 2 and 3! I really enjoyed this one, I love the Trix so much and I've been missing them!
