Platonic is a novella which follows the life and recovered traumas of a woman plagued by her past self.
Twenty-eight years is a long time, right? Time for a lot of growth, plans, relationships, maybe some pain and many unremarkable life events. But what if suddenly you began to recall times in your life that had been completely forgotten?
Surely you wouldn’t forget the reason you stopped talking to your best friend. Or why your family from Ireland stopped visiting? Unfortunately for Stella Blaine this is her life now … as a result of an impulsive choice made on the night she had planned to dine with friends, she finds herself surrounded by mystery and sinister revelation.

Absolutely enthralling book ..... It really drags you in and takes your breath away with its twists and turns..... Highly recommend .... 5 Stars

This was my first Novella to ever read !
There were parts where I was like I would have liked to know more about a character or situation it’s not a short story and it’s not a novel and you can see why you can’t dive into some characters but it really suited the type of book it is, if you dived into everything you brushed on the story wouldn’t have been captured so brilliantly.
From an outsider point of view, the opening was good and hooked me. This Novella is definitely to an aquired taste and not for the faint hearted. I loved how everything came together at the end it and relayed it back to her not wanting to be a bad mother like she had mentioned.
Really enjoyed the book! Would recommend

This was my first novella and I would have loved a more of this story to hear more about why she ended up as she is.
Great first novella by the author, even if I am slightly traumatised by the scene with her brother 😂🙈

Brilliant book, once I started I couldn’t put it down! Very good representation on mental health, recommend to all especially as it’s a novella I read it within 90 minutes so I think it’s a good read for everybody!

This book will grip you from the first page and will have you on the edge of your seat wondering what’s going to happen next! I loved the main character Stella and loved the honesty with which the writer portrayed her! If your looking for an enthralling read for lounging by the pool or some rainy day reading I would definitely recommend!

Really interesting and unique storyline. Disturbing at parts but that is a sign of good writing in my opinion. The book was full of twists and turns and there was never a dull moment.
