Fierce: The F.E.W.

Rate this book
Being a Fierce Everyday Warrior may be something you have never considered …until now. In this six session Bible study, Ruth "Reno" Anderson shows how we are called by God to become FIERCE. Fierce in our faith, Fierce in our stand, Fierce in how we respond to God’s call on our life. What happens if you just put your head in the sand? Can’t you just binge on Netflix instead and not pay attention to what might be happening in your world? What are the consequences of no action? What does God say if good women do nothing in the sight of evil, or even in the sight of trends moving away from God? This study is appropriate any time, but especially now when our world is changing so rapidly. Jobs in jeopardy, a strange new virus killing people all over the world, people and families in self-isolation. As Reno notes, “God can only use those who are willing to stand up for what it right and true. Become one of The F.E.W. The FIERCE EVERYDAY WARRIORS, Living Life to its Fullest, Being Holy as God is Holy, Expanding the boundaries of God’s Kingdom every day.”

This is a fun bible study I can easily see applying to pre-teens, teens, young adults, and grandmothers like myself. As a matter of fact, I liked it so much that I ordered 10 copies from amazon to give away as Christmas presents with specific young ladies in mind. It is an easy read, asks life-application thought provoking questions of the reader, as well as bible verses to reflect on. The author suggests that each section be studied for a full week. There are a lot of fun, well researched, historical facts in the book. One of my children actually studied the martial arts of Bushido, and she did not know that this was the training applied to ancient Chinese warriors. I read all the pages, but did not do the studies and reflections yet, so there will be a much slower re-read of this book. I am sure at that time I will have a better understanding of the scriptures addressed in each section.

First Bible study in the Fierce series! I wrote it, so a little biased. Taught two 6 week Zoom Fierce studies and the women in each group loved it. Sequel, "Moxie" is coming out next month.
