Keith Kareem Williams is the author of over 20 books & 7 screenplays. He still resides in his hometown of Brooklyn, New York where he delicately balances his time between his responsibilities as a single father as well as the challenges of being a full-time author.
“In interviews, one of the most difficult questions I’ve been asked is, ‘What genre are your novels?’ because honestly, I never write with any particular style in mind. I enjoy blending styles and mashing different genres together in interesting ways. Basically, I pen whatever is in my heart and soul. However, if I had to describe my style I would use musical terms and say that I write Urban, Hip-Hop, fiction with the rhythm of Reggae that crashed into Heavy Metal and then began to bleed Neo Soul. I write Alternative Urban Fiction.”
One of the things I'm most proud of is how my children look at me with pride because I'm accomplishing my goals and doing the things I set out to do with my career. They recognize and respect my passion. I write constantly and I already have the titles & plots lined up for my next 92 novels. This is what I do and I'm just trying to let the rest of the world know this. My ambition is to become as legendary as some of the writers I admire. I believe that a GOOD writer pulls you into their story. A GREAT writer makes the world around you fall away as you read. The LEGENDARY writers tell stories that become a part of you and linger long after you've read the last line of the last chapter. It was once said that, the pen is mightier than the sword. I say to my fellow AUTHORS: Let's advance our craft until it's mightier than guns, grenades, bullets & nuclear bombs. If not, then put your pen down and fall back. Those of us who are serious about this will run you over as if we were riding in tanks.” – Keith Kareem Williams

Rowan and Gwen wow the love that was clearly there when reunited. I felt so bad for them, all they had to do was compromise and talk it out. But it shows that love happens when it’s supposed to. There were some great highs and low, I was scared at one point during the storm and Rowan’s chivalry omg. That dog on hotel worker made me want to slap him. I mean I could go on and on but I don’t want to give anything away. This book made me crave Jamaica again, it’s truly no place like it. This was such a great story and a must read.

HURRICANE LOVE has the distinction of being the only story of the fourteen book Carnivale Chronicles series to be penned by an African American male author. Keith Kareem Williams identifies his writing as “Alternative Urban Fiction”. For this series, however, he displays his versatility by delighting the readers with an engaging Contemporary Romance. HURRICANE LOVE provides a keen insight into the lives of two people who love each other, separate, and find each other again. There’s no doubt that Rowan and Gwen, the hero and heroine of the story, are lovers. We meet them in the Prologue at the Chi Flavor Afro-Caribbean Carnivale having a rocking good time. Rowan and Gwen’s love-making is sensuous and explosive. Yet, after a heart breaking decision, the couple go their separate ways. The heart and soul of the story is activated by the separation.

I enjoyed HURRICANE LOVE, and I recommend it. It’s an arresting story that presents an impressive glance at another culture with a perfect mix of love and romance.

Hurricane Love Ambivalence

Hmmm, hurricane love ambivalence 🤔⁉️ I’m just not certain about “Hurricane Love: Carnivale Chronicles”, it was comical, whimsical & possibly endearing. …an okay read. However something was still missing though! Nonetheless, Mr Williams earned an additional star rating for merely surviving the estrogen infused carnivale chronicles series amid thirteen other Ms. authors. …🍺👏🏿👏🏾👏🏽‼️Thereafter, once I completed this read, I resolved by chapter seventeen the ending was disjointed. …specifically Gwen & Rowan’s amorous activities 🤨⁉️. The book was never about the Carnivale (not even remotely), but rather Rowan’s guilt and dejection of his late mother, family, his Jamaican heritage and or motivations. …this book, storyline, Rowan & Gwen journey were all incomplete.🤷🏾‍♀️

What will be will be

Gwen and Rowan’s story was interesting and showed what happens when communication is missing. Rowan had dream for his career and felt he had to quit a job he had grown to dislike and relocate to another state in order to make it happen. By doing so he walked away from the one women he really loved, without even asking her to consider coming with him. 😔.

Who knew that years later, an unexpected death , a vacation and a hurricane would lead the two of them back together.

This is an interesting read, however it left me with many questions
about Rowan and his career and if it was really worth all that he had
Given up. Gwen left me with a number of questions as well. But perhaps I will find the answer in Hurricane Love 2

Immersed In Cyclonic Affects...
This is the first book of Mr. Williams that I took a chance on reading. What an awesome read it is! The reader goes on a wonderful roller coaster ride of emotions while immersed in cyclonic affects while discovering what this book offers. At times, I was holding my breath until I got the essence of the book. The author compels the reader to read to the last page to learn what is more significant love or one’s profession.

This author in my opinion never disappoints in releasing something fresh and with this one, do I dare say unexpected!

The title is befitting in the many emotions the author evokes from the beginning to the very last page. I enjoyed the journey with Rowan and Gwen.

Another great read! I encourage you to take this adventure!

Intense Read

This was my first story from this author. Gwen and Rowan were a second chance couple that meet up again by chance, her on vacation in Jamaica and him there for his mothers funeral. Can their love make it the second time around.

Hurricane

An easy read about a vacation to Jamaica for Gwen and Ro saying goodbye to his mother. The Carnivale was lost.

Carnivale for a Second Chance

Sometimes the timing is not right the first time around. However, life is full of surprises and you can discover so much during a storm.

Love will last

But can it survive distance - that's a question for part two. This was a good story. Finding out how John ends up is another good question.
