In this book, the third in a trilogy, Helen finally lives her dream to see Paris. I read a book in French and I liked it!
I've enjoyed the entire "Merde" trilogy, but sadly this was my least favourite.
Most of the book happens before the actual trip to Paris, so the actual Paris section felt really rushed.
In terms of the goal of teaching French by getting one to read, it achieves the goal. It has taken me a very long time and countless hours to finish this very short trilogy, but I blame that on my poor grasp of French than the writing itself.
Will be looking for more by this Author

The whole series is awesome. Great books for starting to read in french. Probably not great for absolute beginners

I loved reading about Helen’s journey to France and her adventures in Paris. I wish there were more French books like this series.
