I like to read a few chapters of the book, and then read the corresponding chapters in the Cliff Notes. Unfortunately, in so doing in this case, there were several spoilers, as the author shows how some event is foreshadowing a later event. For instance, I knew about the outcome of the trial several chapters before reading it in the book. Most unfortunate! Otherwise it was very helpful.

Very helpful to have while reading the book. It isn't just for students. :)

I enjoyed it. We had a short selection from the Pickwick papers in school for the English class. The humour of Victorian times might escape the current generation. Those who make an attempt will like it immensely.
