This is such a wonderfully fantastic book. It is not your average vegetarian cookbook, either. The whole first part of the book is actually teaching you about the different types of foods, food groups, general nutritional value, and also their nutritional value for vegetarians specifically. The rest is filled with yummy and interesting recipes, from all over the world, just as the title states. I actually started trying new foods, that I never thought i'd like, because of this book, and found that I do actually like many of them. There are also many great tips located throughout the pages, including alternatives that you can try. Each recipe includes a great, detailed, color photo of the result, so you can really get a feel for what you are about to prepare. I would certainly recommend this book for both new and seasoned vegetarians. It's a must have for your collection!
