I'm not sure I've ever made anything out of this cookbook, but I read it when I'm depressed or sad. It ALWAYS makes me feel better!

I liked this book because I thought it would be handy to have a one-stop chocolate book to go whenever I am in a chocolatey mood. Which is about 90% of the time.
The recipes cover the gamut of chocolate delights: cookies, pies, bars, puddings, muffins, cakes, souffles, truffles, parfaits. There is a chocolate laced lemon turnover recipe that I am dying to take for a spin in my kitchen.

I baked the Double Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies for my neighbors this year. THe recipe is easy, the directions are clear and the cookies delicious!
