Virtual World: Peerless White Emperor
Year 24XX. With several hundred years of improvements, virtual reality has become more mature. It had gradually become humanity’s second world. Socializing, working, studying and other everyday things could all be done while sleeping.

Ye Cang is a black bellied, underachieving, 2nd year student at a city college. He appears to have been cured of his albinism yet his story is still full of mystery. In the game ‘New Age – Conviction’, he began walking the path of a professional gamer. An all-rounder ranger, dark cooking, with a nasty disposition, willing to do anything. He’s slowly creating his own legend.

Three stars because near the end this turned into a harem story and I hate that sort of sexist B.S. I liked this better when the MC was pining for his dead lover.
This action-adventure novel takes place in reality and the virtual gaming world. What gives it a good rating: the humor, which actually made me laugh out loud at times although it is occasionally sexist (such as a pet named Emergency Ration, because the MC has the dark cooking skill). I also like the found-family and friendships. There's a lot of game elements such as loot, equipment, leveling, and stats - more than real world scenes, this is a game story, so mostly gamers would like this, but if you are into that genre, this is a good read.

Warning: In chapter 511 there is a scene that is supposed to be humorous but it involves many people including children touching an adult's penis for a blessing. Ugh, so unnecessary.
