A chaotically amusing story of a straight laced father and his all American family who have the misfortune to live next door to an ancient witch with plans to dominate the world and them in particular while continuing a hell centred war with her dead demon ex husband. Kept me engaged although became a bit repetitive in the chapters leading up to the big battle at the end, though not enough for me to lose interest. Hence four star rather than five.
