A clever new adventure about summer fun in the best-selling series about the Bailey School Kids.
Look who just slithered into town! There are some pretty weird grown-ups living in Bailey City. But could Eddie's new math tutor, the juggler in town for the Bailey City Summer Festival, really be a Sea Serpent?

Out of all the "monsters" I've read about so far, I feel like Seamus is one of the least threatening. And I really rather enjoyed this one. It was a fun, leisurely story and extremely entertaining.
I didn't like how the kids acted around this guy, i don't remember his name, but the one they suspected was a sea serpent.
Eddie was actually enjoying himself while he was learning math and all that, but they just had to make a big deal about the fact that he's a weirdo and likes water and sea creatures.
I just think that they way they went about it was wrong. They didn't really try to figure out if he was a sea serpent or not, they just bullied him out of town.
The collection of "The adventures of the Bailey School Kids" stories are among my all-time favorite children's books. Witty, mischievous and fun, these short and silly books continue to bring giggles to the young and old. Just as I have enjoyed them as a kid, my own children also love them today. I even catch myself re-reading them (alone) from time to time. What can I say? I guess I'll always be a BSK kid at heart.
The Bailey School Kids was one of my favourite series when I was ~9 years old. Now being 22 years old I was interested in seeing how they were actually like, while keeping low standards going in haha. The story was really simple, showing how kids can have over-imaginative brains with little things spiraling out of control. (That man loves swimming and aquatic life!? Must be a monster!) The series is still cute, I'm grateful that it kept me reading constantly as a kid.
The Bailey School Kids is a best-selling children's book series by Marcia Thornton Jones and Debbie Dadey. Its main characters are a group of four children (Eddie, Howie, Liza, Melody) who suspect some persons in the stories are popular folk lore or fairy tale characters. They are appealing because they mix a familiar story in with this group of kids. Mid-grammar school
The kids are bored by the hot summer and decide to explore a cave---where they meet Mrs. Jeepers as well as a man named Gordon, who appears to be a sea serpent of some kind. Somewhat interesting but kind of dull. Ultimately this is actually pretty lame.
Total crap. Can't believe I've been recommending this series to kids. Short and easy to read, but the story was pretty lame. Kind of like a precursor to goosebumps books for younger readers.
there was a summer carnival. they learned to juggle water balloons! the owner of the water balloon shop was strange. Eddie got tutored on math. the tutor guy was the water balloon guy
