Tristan
After the sudden loss of our father at war, and our mother to a broken heart, it's been hard but we've managed to carry on. Now, it’s just me and my brothers. We've made a life for ourselves. My life is perfect. A great job, boss, nice home and a man who loves me. That is, until Sebastian Abbott arrives turning my world upside down.

Sebastian
Originally, from a small town on the east coast, I moved across the country for more opportunities. Life is great. I have wealth and an endless amount of women at my disposal. People think my life is perfect. I guess from the outside it is, but I still feel there’s something missing. Until an emergency with my mother brings me back home to a town I'd like to forget. That's when I meet her. Possibly the something I had been missing. Tristan Summers - a sweet southern belle with a sassy mouth and a heart of gold.

A few chance encounters with Tristan, has me lusting after a woman I barely know. But I know what I want and I intend to get it.

I’m not playing to win, I’m playing for keeps.

Cheri Marie’s Playing Dirty is a steamy, fun with a little angst, contemporary romance written in K. Bromberg’s Driven Worlds project.

Cheri Marie is an author, reader, event organizer and most importantly a fur-mama. She is a Florida girl, currently residing in beautiful North Carolina. A lover of animals, it’s no surprise that Cheri has what some would call, a zoo of animals. When she isn't writing stories that transport you to another world, or wearing one of her many hats, she enjoys photography and music. Also on her down time, she enjoys spending a day on the water, fishing with her brothers.

It doesn't matter to Sebastian that the woman he feels an instant connection with, the woman he wants, has a boyfriend. What Sebastian wants, he gets. And what or who, he wants, is Tristan. Will he allow an inconsequential thing like a boyfriend to keep him from her? Well...that disregard just might have the potential to break the relationship they could have.

I have to admit right off the bat that I didn't like Sebastian. He was rude, disrespectful (his nickname for Tristan is stupid and beyond disrespectful, especially when she tells him to stop), and entitled. So why 4 stars? Well, I liked the story itself, and I loved Tristan. She's strong and funny, and I wish she had been paired with a hero worthy of her. But their chemistry is hot, the story is entertaining, and I feel as if it fit in the Driven World really well.

Between her career, her friends and her family Tristan is happy with the life she has created even if her relationship with her long term boyfriend isn’t exactly how she envisioned but an altercation with a doughnut and a sexy stranger will change everything.

Sebastian was attracted to Tristan from their first meeting and although he knows it would be in everyone’s best interest to keep his distance that is easier said than done. Especially when his past resurfaces with dire consequences.

Humor, heat and a little angst as not only do the characters of Tristan and Sebastian draw you in but there is a compelling group of secondary characters as well.

I'm rather new to the Cheri Marie world, and after reading Playing Dirty, I really want to read more of her books asap. This story was a short(ish) read, and honestly?! I wish there had been more since I wasn't ready to be done reading it. Tristan is a woman who really believes her life is perfect with the way it is, especially with the tragedy she & her siblings went through. She's a sassy woman with a huge heart so she's beautiful inside and out. Sebastian is an arrogant, rich playboy who always gets what he wants. When his mother needs him, he comes home to the small town he wants to forget, but he never saw Tristan coming. They definitely have some intense chemistry from the jump, but there are a couple of complications to keep Sebastian from getting the girl immediately, but he's not one to back down. Will Tristan finally give him a chance?! Hit those one click buttons to find out! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This book was a quick read. The donuts, coffee and love of thick thighs was a draw.

While family was important to all of the characters there was that instant chemistry we all crave between Tristan and Sebastian.

And to think it would have been very different story if Lazaro had been stronger, and a better man. But every story need needs an antagonist or two because really who would Lazaro be without a hissy for a sidekick.

Sebastian is the Prince Charming we are all searching for. Tristan obviously the damsel in distress drowns all her woes in Ben & Jerry's. They collide and compliment one another completely. Love each other completely.

It was fast, there were turns, it was fun, it was great for the driven world!

I was given an ARC copy of Playing Dirty for an honest review of this book.

Tristan and Sebastian's story has become one of my top favorites and I'm so excited I got to read an ARC copy of this book!! Cheri Marie did an excellent job on this book!

I honestly felt like I was reading a really really good movie. There were parts that had me swooning, laughing, crying and omg I NEED MORE!! Lol Tristan and her boss are spit fires and Sebastian is a hot, caring, loving alpha so when he sees Tristan and he was like I want her and I'm going to fight for her and let me tell you when he does start fighting for her your tablets are going to melt. I really can not wait to see if Cheri Marie writes more to this book. I'm really excited to see where the Author goes next.

This is a new author to me, but I will certainly be looking out for her work in the future. Sebastian is a wealthy playboy who returns to his hometown when his mom takes a tumble. Tristan is sassy and with a huge heart, and from the moment these two meet the chemistry is undeniable and amazing. This is a good story which is a quick read, and is filled with emotions, a tad angst, family drama, fun, and is a steamy and entertaining read. This story is a great addiction to this amazing Driven World series. I recommend for all readers.

This was the first book I've read by this author, but I really enjoyed her writing style!! Sebastian and Tristan had amazing chemistry from the start, and even though this was a quick read, I definitely felt that their story evolved at just the right pace. There was a little family drama, but nothing too over the top, nor did that plotline drag on and on, which I really appreciated.

This is another great addition to the Driven world!!

Sebastian is a rich playboy who goes to visit his mother after she falls. Tristan meets Sebastian and all bets are off. There is instant chemistry between these two. This was a very enjoyable quick sexy read. There is a little family drama that stirs the pot a little. I enjoyed the detail of their story and would definitely read more books by this author.

Playing Dirty by Cheri Marie is set in K. Bromberg's Driven World series and is one you don't want to miss out on devouring!

Let me just get out of the way that I LOVE Sebastian and Tristan! So much sass, so much tension, so much CHEMISTRY, it's honestly too much but in the BEST possible way!

Sebastian is a jerk, but you can't help but love him when you see how he treats the ones he truly cares about. He's brash, he's abrasive, he's very confident, yet you can tell there's more to him, and you fall for him more with each facet that gets revealed.

And Tristan? Feisty, fiery, with a huge heart of gold, someone you want in your corner, someone you know is simply a good person, and you want only the best for her.

The story is fast paced, intense, and has a whole lot of feels, so you know it'll entice you in and then keep you hooked until the very end! So, what are you waiting for? Dive on in!

A new book in the Driven world by K. Bromberg, Playing dirty has a cocky, sexy man, and the woman he sets his sights on. Tristan loves her career but her relationship is struggling. Her current boyfriend is completely distant and barely at home. When she crosses paths with a gorgeous stranger, she finds him to be a bit cocky and over the top for her liking. As Tristan and Sebastian, the sexy stranger himself, continue to cross paths while he is in town , she can’t deny the fact he is on her mind often. Lines get blurred and Tristan experiences the best love has to offer, while also experiencing one of the worst experiences life has to offer. In the end these two cannot deny the attraction and love they possess for each other.

Sebastian and Tristan meet by chance and don't realize they are destine to be together. They both have an attraction to each other, but Tristan is with someone else. Sebastian is back home to look after his mom the only things I didn't like is I didn't feel he spent enough time with his mom, but that didn't detour the story at all. Tristan is so strong will with two amazing brothers who have her back. When her life starts to spiral it's Sebastian there to pick up the pieces. However his secret is about to escape and it will be Tristan in the crossfire. Can he protect her? And will she forgive him for the secret that he should of told her from the start?

Sebastian & Tristan caught my attention right from the very first page and hold it till the very end. And I immediately loved Tristan, she's one hell of a strong woman. She would just stood up to Sebastian. They have insane chemistry, but Tristan has a boyfriend. Sebastian's not one to just back down. What he wants, he gets that includes Tristan. He's kind of rude and entitled when he thought that, but I still find their story a good read.

This is my first read by the author, and it was very entertaining.

3.5 Stars.

It's not easy to write in someone else's world, and K. Bromberg's Driven Worlds is one of my favorite places to visit.

Interesting story, but it left me wishing for something more in terms of character development. I loved the relationship of Arianna and the main character, but wished for more layers between the two main characters themselves.

All in all, an enjoyable and quick read, with a glimpse of the world we all know and love.
