Now I liked this book, but for some reason I didn’t love it. The characters although strong just didn’t have the level of chemistry I’ve been used to in her previous book. Is it a bad read no is the easy answer but I doubt I’d read this particular book again.
Claire has worked hard for the life she has, especially after her partner dumped her and took half the business with him, its been a struggle getting back in the position she is in now and there is still work to do on her reputation so when she’s asked to be the physio therapist for Micha, a champion MMA fighter she is over the moon knowing this is the boost her business needs. She knew he was attractive but never thought she’d feel how she does just minutes after meeting him and when things heat up between them will she choose him or her career and business?
Micha is recovering from surgery after an injury on his leg and his brother and manager hires Claire to be his home nurse and physio therapist. From the moment he lays his eyes upon her he knows this is going to be trouble and once they give in to their private desires he realises he never wants to let her go. Can he convince Claire that they have a shot at forever or has her past ruined any chance he had?
My issue with one part of the story was what did he do to cause the injury as they’d never explained but alluded to a lot. There is no epilogue which would have been great to see how their relationship moved on. Enjoyable 3 * read.

A sweet, sexy story about an injured MMA fighter and the physical therapist/nurse that was hired by his brother/agent to get m through his recuperation. Claire and Micah develop a high sexual tension as soon as they meet one another. Although she tries to remain professional, Micah is just too tempting to ignore. This is another good book by Kate Hunt. I find myself returning to her books time and time again. I would recommend this, or any of her many other enjoyable stories.

Gloves Off is intense and passionate story of Micah and Claire's recovery. The journey they went through to get to the end pushed them physically and emotionally.
Micah's injuries and Claire's past choices could have ended their careers, but with heart wrenching determination and healing they were able to come together.
I fell in love with the character's strength. This is a fast read that will melt your heart.

Micah is a fighter who has ended up hurt and to get back in shape he has to work with a nurse/physical therapist. Micah is such a sweet and kind person to Claire even though he's looking at so much pain and maybe the end of his career. They both are trying to get over their fear and insecurities but they start down the path of being together and falling in love. Great story. This well-written short stand alone book is a wonderful MMA story and has wonderful characters. The characters are believably well-crafted and they react in a realistic fashion. I cannot wait to read more from this Author. If you love bad boys who still do the right thing, strong sexy women who can (mostly) take care of themselves, and steaming hot romance, you'll love this novella.

An injured MMA fighter and his physical therapist are amazing characters. The stories of their past choices and injuries flows smoothly through the pages and captivates the reader. You find yourself rooting for them to deal with their past so they can move on to a future together. Wonderfully written and definitely recommend!

A quick, fast paced, instalove MMA story. Meet Claire, she is here to help Micah heal and train for his next fight. Micah is nearly knocked off his feet when he meets Claire but it is all business with her. Claire is determined to get Micah back in shape but Micah is determined to steal Claire's heart. An interesting fast pace instalove romance! The story line is well-developed, emotionally deep, well written, funny, and relatable. Likeable characters; their chemistry is intense, instant, off the charts, and the sex scenes are HOT! Definitely recommended!

The author has given us characters we can care about. Micah, a MMA fighter, is injured during a match and requires surgery. Claire is hired as his nurse/physical therapist when he returns to his home. They have an instant attraction and fight against it, until fighting is no longer an option.

Micah and Claire are the leading stars in this one. I loved reading stories about fighters and this one was perfect. I loved the first person point of view. 5 stars.

Micah and Claires story is super intense passionate romantic and reall beautiful. This story is well written cleverly done in a way to make you swoon.

This was a quick read which was packed with emotion, ethics, a sizzling connection, hopes, dreams, worries and being brave enough to be honest about your feelings. I thought the premise was good and the story flowed well. For me though one of the issues in the story was cleared up a little too conveniently for my liking and they never discussed it which cast a little doubt on the strength of their relationship in my mind, which is why I would have liked an epilogue so I could see them together a little further into their relationship journey. I liked Micah and Claire and thought they were good for each other, I loved Oscar, he made me smile.

I really enjoyed Gloves Off by Kate Stone. Claire and Micah were smoking hot and their chemistry was intense. After MMA fighter Micah is injured, Claire is hired as his physical therapist. Claire is struggling after her ex boyfriend and business partner stole half of her company and dumped so despite her attraction to Micah she is reluctant to get involved. But sometimes, the temptation is just too strong. Can Micah convince her to give them a chance? And will Micah get his MMA contract renewed?
