This is a Masterpiece. We follow the life of Rosa without ever (until the very end) being in Rosa's mind. We see her from everyone else's perspective. It is unconventional and wonderful. this book was followed by another one of her masterpieces, The Innocents. Brava!

Looking for Cluny Brown (by the same author), my father checked this out of the library and passed it on to me when he was through.
