Delineating the slow cultural thaw experienced by Russian artists from the 1960s onward, the exhibition highlights the collection of Russian impresario Marat Guelman, and features installation, photography, video and multimedia works from 1990 to the present. The '15 G' of the subtitle refers to the first 15 years of Marat Guelman's gallery, and describes how its activities changed the artistic panorama of Russia by helping to create a real, tangible art scene in Moscow.
