Dragons and cambions do not mingle, they certainly should never mate. As Lachlan and Veronica's bond deepens, it manifests with uniquely dire consequences.

A new city.

A new job.

A new brutal murder.

Cambion-dragon rider, Veronica Sykes, attempts to navigate the pitfalls of her new position as a Special Agent for the FBI's Predator Crime Unit, adjust to her expanding senses, and meet other dragons and riders. An already stressful situation turns toxic when her dragon, Lachlan Brynmor, is attacked and her demon lineage may be to blame.

Now, Veronica must expose the sadistic creature behind a rash of vicious murders, earn the trust of Lachlan's weary fellow dragons, and resist the seductive allure of her demonic blood.

About the author

Fannie Price

Fannie resides in the Chicagoland area and enjoys creating stories that bring her hometown and other cities to life. Her favorite part of writing is the art of creating a vivid and visual world, populated by an entertaining, interesting, and flawed cast of characters with a real life feel.

An avid Assassin's Creed fan girl, when she's not writing she spends her free time with family and friends, watching football and hockey, going to movies, reading, and playing the occasional adventure / RPG on her gaming console.

Fannie follows up the release of her debut novel, Dancing in Graveyards, with The Cambion Rider Chronicles. The series includes two short story preludes, Sirens, originally released in the anthology Shades of Horror and Strangeness and Demon Hunt. Along with two full length novels, After the Flesh, Book #1 of the series, and Book #2, Burn.

Book 2

I am so loving this series! Questions are answered from book 1 while simultaneously opening up more questions! I love how twists and turns keep going deeper and deeper!
