So enlightening! I had, until now, only really thought of LDN for autoimmunity -- but based on the mechanism of action, I'd started to wonder if it might have broader applications. I've used it in my patients to hit a "reset button" in various cases of post-viral illness, and it usually works, for instance. But I didn't until now think to try it for such a wide variety of other conditions, including chronic pain, PTSD, and Lyme Disease. Very encouraging - particularly because the mechanism of this drug is like homeopathy in the sense that it's the secondary action rather than the primary action that produces the lasting effect. Any tool that isn't suppressive, but works with the body to heal itself, has me excited.
I will say it hasn't worked for everybody I've tried it with, but then, nothing works for everybody.
