This was bad. Like really bad. I'm actually shocked at how high of a rating this book has. I love MC books. I love dark books, but this was just so far off the mark. The writing felt so choppy and just didn't flow easily. I'm wondering if this was the author's first MC book. If so, I should give it some grace but I can't. And the sex conversations in this book were cringe-worthy. I found myself wrinkling my nose and shaking my head more than I should've. This was just over the top. I don't know how to explain it. This is the end of the series for me. I have absolutely zero desire to read the next two books.

This book had me hooked from the start. The story is filled with drama, violence, betrayals and passion. The Midnight Saints MC have a battle on their hands, when Pres. Maxum, "The Preacher" goes rogue as they are about to find out just how far Maxum betrayed his brothers when the club is attacked by The Other and The Diablos all set into motion by his lies, greed and addiction. The Midnight Saints are in one hell of a mess, brothers are injured and murdered, while others who have turned on the club have been found out. Reagan is the ol' lady to Jacob who defected from the club and is now part of The Diablos MC, he has tortured and abused Reagan for the years they have been together, the last time she ended up at the hospital where he once again threatened her and informed her if any one asked about her injuries she was to say she was beaten and raped by the Midnight Saints MC. Now Reagan knows that if she doesn't escape he is going to kill her. When a good samaritan gives her hope and helps her escape, the only place she can think of going and asking for a safe haven is back to the Midnight Saints. When she arrives at the club house beaten, broken and abused all hell breaks out as no one trusts her. The only person who sees that she is not a spy is Seth as he wants to protect her as he is becoming drawn to her sexually. As these two form a connection, they begin a relationship that is full of steamy raw moments. Seth is going to have a fight on his hands with his Pres and his brothers in order to keep her safe and by his side. But once again things will become deadly when Jacob knows who is sheltering her when she is spotted at a club charity event when both Seth and Reagan are threatened by Jacob and Maxum as a fight breaks out, Seth learns from Maxum how far his hatred and treachery has led him. Now the Midnight Saints have to form new alliances to defeat not only The Diablos but The Order to fight the war that is coming to destroy them. Will they come out of this intact or is this the end of the Midnight Saints MC? But a solution may be coming their way when Reagen reaches out to the one person who just might be able to destroy Maxum and help save the Midnight Saints. This book will have you on edge from the first chapter and ending with a cliffhanger.

Iris Sweetwater brings Midnight Saints MC to the world for all of us to enjoy. Lucky us!! I loved this introduction and I can't wait to read the stories of everyone else like Tony, Janice and Dan, and Bonnie. Now to the book:
Reagan literally knocks her way into Seth and the Midnight Saints MC's doorsteps! From there, the fun begins. Well, there's a lot of drama in the beginning involving the Saints Prez that has gone missing. The intrigue of the story kept unfolding and was captivating to say the least. There are other clubs involved and you have to really pay attention to know who is a foe or friend. These storylines in the future with Blue Diablos and Crypt Keepers should be really interesting. Plus, what's going on with Maxum and The Shadow Order. Are you confused? Well, you need to read the book!! Believe me, you'll love it.
As for the couple, I loved Seth immediately. Reagan, I'm not sure she's fully grown on me. I realize she's gone through a lot of things, but she's still manipulative and helpless all at once. I just couldn't figure her out at times. Yes, she started growing a backbone. I'm just not really sure what to make of her as a heroine. On the other hand, they sure are steamy and that's all that matters to Seth. Well, she matters a great deal to him. However, they're still hot as a couple. I look forward to perhaps seeing Reagan evolve a bit more in future books. Maybe she needs to hang around Janice a little more.

You have several different groups of biker gangs and one twisted former Prez that puts a war into play you also have one women's quest to break loose from her abusive biker boyfriend.
The Midnight Saints are about to be hit by betrayal from within there Prez Maxum (Preacher) is missing Tony his second on command goes to Preaches daughter Kara looking for answers she just tells him to watch his back her father isn't who the Midnight Saints thought. Now there people are shot up Maxum treachery is just now being discovered a friend and member is dead and some beat up Blue Diablos female is on there property is she a spy his enforcer Seth is protecting her the Diablos are out for blood because they were hit too and the Shadow Order is behind it led by someone new.
Seth thinks women are for sex only and he doesn't want and old lady and just as everything is going to crap this broken women shows up and changes everything for me Reagan.
Reagan I've had enough i just wanna die if I can't get away from Jacob. Finally I have my chance I just hope the Midnight Saints will give me sanctuary i was once one of them till I turned my back on them for Jacob. Now I'm back there worried ill betray them but all I want is a future with Seth. But Jacob hes not done with me the Saints will need new alliances the Crypt Keepers and someone will need to bring Maxum down.

The Midnight Saints have found themselves in a he*#uva mess after their own President, Maxum turns on them. It don't get any better when an 'Ol Lady from another club shows up nearly beaten to death and Seth takes responsibility for her. Reagan was at the Midnight Saints clubhouse at one time. Jacob, one of the Saints members jumped ship and Reagan refused sanctuary and decided to go with him when he left. Now she's back seeking that sanctuary. Between the mess Maxum "The Preacher" has created much chaos is coming for the Saints. The Diablos and The Order both have been suckered in by the former Saints president and he's not going to stop until he's wreaked havoc on everybody to cover his own tracks. Tony, Seth, Reagan, Kara ( The Preachers daughter) and the rest of the Saints have a long, brutal road ahead of them. There's lots of twists and turns in this book and I can't wait to see what's coming next.

This is the beginning of a great new Motorcycle Club series. It has it all and then some.
She was a club sweetbutt, but had left the MC when the group splintered, with a guy who promised to make her his old lady and take care of her. It didn’t turn out that way, instead of taking care of her , he used and abused her at every turn. She finally escaped and ended up at the Midnight Saints Club house again.
He found her hurt and bloody on their doorstep, and something in him just flipped a switch and he couldn’t get her out of his head or his heart. He is a member of the executive board, and when she came into his life he slowly came to life. She was the missing pieces of his soul and he was hers.
They are a cast of memorable characters, with who there are twists and turns at every corner.
They were broken apart but together they make up a strong take no crap team and that makes them invincible.

Wow, this is the first book that I read by Iris Sweetwater and just woah. This was not what I expected, it was even better. We have Seth and Reagan's story and it was brutal. Like seriously the stuff that Reagan goes through, I don't know how she managed to pull through all of that. She is one took cookie. Then we have Seth form the Midnight Saints who is the enforcer and he is not a good man but he knows it. However, when he meets Reagan, something shifts for him and he does not know what to do about it. He has a fight ahead of him for sticking his neck out for Reagan. Reagan goes about getting under his skin the wrong way first and does rectify it. Although Reagan is at the clubhouse she has to convince them that they can trust her. Will she succeed? Can Seth save her from the MC and the Diablos? Ohhh, this one had me on edge and flipping through emotions like crazy. It is a great start to a new series.

Such a great MC story. This story has so much grit, chaos, drama, violence, lies, betrayals, and passion. Regan is ol'lady to Jacob but he's abused her and torched her for years. He is with another MC club that is fighting against the Midnight Saints MC. Regan decides that after the last stay at the hospital she is leaving Jacob. She ends up at the Midnight Saints clubhouse beaten, broken and abused and all hell breaks out. They think she's a spy but Seth is the only one that doesn't and he's going to protect her and they start a relationship. But there is was coming to the Midnight Saints MC from The Diablos and The Others. This story will have you reading until the end of the story it ends with a cliffhanger. I was drawn in and on the edge of my seat by the end of the first chapter and the cliffhanger ending holy smokes I can't wait to see what happens next.

Ok. I had to think about what I wanted to say so that there are no spoilers. This is the first book in the "Midnight Saints MC" series. This author holds no punches. This story is intense, raw, gritty and packed with action, lies, betrayal, twists and turns. There is plenty of chemistry and heat! Just when you go I know what is going to happen; no you don't. Seth and Reagen have so much to over come personally and club wise. Is it possible? Can these two find love? Can his club survive what is knocking at the door? Get the book and see for yourself. So worth It! Highly recommend this book! I am looking forward to the next book in the series!!! I am voluntarily leaving my review after reading an advance reader copy from the author. Job well done!

And..... Boom!! a killer start to a new MC series that leaves you wanting more. Abandon by Iris Sweetwater is a raw and gritty story riddled with drama, suspense, violence, and wildfire chemistry between Seth and Reagen. From the first to the last page this story is intense and filled with twists and turns that will shock you and have you sitting on the edge of your seat biting your nails. With the Midnight Saints MC betrayed by their president the club is about to go to war. How will the club cope? Can Seth save a broken Reagan and keep her safe? You will need to find out.. A highly recommended read and I can't wait to devour the next book in the series learning more about the other characters.

This series starts out with a bang. Reagan used to know the Saints but left with her man when they kicked him out. Over the next few years the has taken to beating and pretty much torturing her constantly. When she sees an opportunity to escape she does, and she heads to the one place she hopes will protect her, The Midnight Saints MC. When Seth finds her, he puts everything on the line to save her. He just hopes she is not a spy and that they won’t get killed. This is a dark and intense read, with action, suspense, drama and some twists and turns. The chemistry between Seth and Reagan is off the charts hot and there was an instant connection that Seth felt when he first held her. War is coming! You don’t want to miss out on this series.

Great beginning to the Midnight Saints MC series.
Totally enjoyed reading this book. Looking forward to more from this MC series. I am a huge fan of MC books. This is the first read for this MC series. Seth is a member of the Midnight Saints MC. When a broken woman Reagan literally crawls up to their door, he feels the need to protect her from all the world, including from her abusive ex and from his own club brothers. Reagan just wants to get away from the abusive man and the Midnight Saints MC is her only chance. I liked that Reagan is not a completely weak and headless woman.

This book is about The Midnight Saints MC. Seth is your typical alpha biker who is under a lot of pressure when their President Maxum, Preacher, turns traitor and starts wrecking havoc on the club!! Reagan has been in an abusive relationship with a rival MC member and she ends up seeking shelter by the Saints and Seth takes full responsibility. This is definitely a page turner. I felt the pain Reagan went through and I love that Seth took responsibility to help save her. Definitely looking forward to more books in this series!!! Would definitely recommend!!!

Iris Sweetwater did a great job on Abandon. It was a great story. The plot and characters were strong, it was filled with so many emotions. Reagen and Seth's journey was a rollercoaster but they were made for each other. Reagen was a fighter, so wasn't Seth. From the moment he laid eyes on Reagen, he knew she was his and he'd do anything to protect her and that's what he did, he was very caring and protective. These two were perfect for each other. The connection and chemistry between them was strong. They were great together.
This was a great story. I'm looking forward to reading more of this series.

Filled with abuse, beatings, swearing and rough dialogue, this MC drama was hard to get into. It may have been the angry coarse language that seemed like everyone was yelling all the time that detracted from the actual storyline.
Seth was not anyone’s favorite for rescuing Reagan from the abusive and sadistic Jacob. Seth fell for Reagan quick and hard despite her multiple wounds, bruises, and scars when he found her. He got into a ton of trouble because of Reagan’s bone headed decisions that was frustrating to read about.

The MC genre has many layers which can be hard to relay to the audience. In this story, there are plenty of enemies, violence, lust, and drama. What I didn’t find was a sense of loyalty or family. I didn’t engage or connect with the characters. I found the writing to be stilted at times as well. I felt a lot of blame and shouting and darkness but I missed the familial connection which is what makes this genre so captivating. I felt as though I was spoken to a lot rather than finding out things myself. So while the story had promise, it fell short for me and I struggled to finish it.

I loved reading this book by Iris Sweetwater. Not what she normally writes but so worth the read as I am a big fan of MC stories and this did not disappoint. The chemistry between Seth and Reagen was way off the charts but the books also gave us a great story. Lots of drama and tender moments between them. Lots of new and great characters can only mean more books to read. Hope there is more to come because I would love to read more about the Midnight Saints MC.

The club get's betrayed by their Prez and out of the sudden a women lays at their back door. The brother of the MC are all clear this is a traitor except for Seth. He is determined that Reagan is a broken soul who search for help and shelter. She knows the Preacher's MC stand up to their name - at least that what she thought. It's an interesting story with a good twist up until the end. Can't wait for the next book in this series.

This is the first book in a series called Midnight Saints MC. It's a fast-paced and standalone book that will keep you engaged from start to finish.

Another grand start to a genre I love to get into and away for awhile. They love deep and true but raw and dark are also part of the world. This will pull your insides to the outside with Reagen starting it with the broken she is. Seth sees the true and fights for it. He is one to capture any woman's heart but it is already given. The road in this one will not be easy it will be full of healing and danger. From beginning to end you are with them both because you too want to see where they land.

This is the first book I've read from this author. There may be triggers for some. The Midnight Saints are in the middle of a possible war because of something their old prez did. Turning other clubs against them. He disappeared but he's working his own agenday. He put a hit out on Tony the VP. Seth is the enforcer and when discovers a woman beaten and abused at their doorstep he takes her regardless of what everyone else thinks. Danger, death, betrayals and physical abuse are a part of this book. Things are calm for now, but for how long.

Way different the others I have read...but so worth it!! The title suits this book to a T. That's how the story plays out, Reagan abandoned after years of abuse, the prez abandoned them to go rogue with drugs and inside war against his club. But the saints pull through to try and get above, while Seth and Reagan find that maybe they can be together after all...

Reage has been in a abusive relationship for 3 years after a really bad beating someone helps her to escape. She goes to the Midnight Saints for sanctuary.
Seth finds her and becomes her protector. The club is in the middle of war. The action is fast and brutal, and the club stands strong.
Enjoyed the story but the ending was to abrupt. Will read the next one as I am hooked.

Seth is a member of an MC. He is hard and closed off to all but his club family. When a broken woman literally crawls up to their door, he needs to protect her. From what is chasing her and ftom his own club brothers. Reagan just wants to get thru one day without pain and she only has one place to run, the Saints. A good MC read.
