Ryohgo Narita (成田 良悟, Narita Ryōgo) is a Japanese light novelist. He won the Gold Prize in the 9th Dengeki Novel Prize for Baccano!, which was made into a TV anime in 2007.[1] His series Durarara!! was also made into a TV anime, which began airing January 2010
There are two traits found in most of Narita's works: * Narita writes extremely fast, one volume a month if he wishes - with tons of spelling errors and missing words as a tradeoff. The editors like to leave them sometimes just for fun, though. * His work titles often have an exclamation mark at the end (i.e. Baccano!, Vamp!, Durarara!!, etc.).
We still don't really have any idea what is actually going on, but we get Vamp Misaki and thats all that matters!
Okay not all but its definitely my favorite part. I still love Solitaire, he's just kind of inserted himself smack dab into the middle of a deadly game and he just keeps bluffing his way along. What makes his role so much better is that pretty much everyone he interacts with catches on pretty quickly that he has no idea what's going on but they give him information anyway.
I am still so very confused in regards to the Fire Breathing Bug though, this is obviously on purpose but I *need* to know! Are they actually a group? Is it just one person that can control people? And what the hell does the Agakura family have to do with it!?
The series takes a turn and is finally getting good! It is definately worth the investment in reading time. The story heats up as Misaki adjusts to her new form and flies to the rescue. She and Xiaoyu Lei battle together in some great action scenes. We learn more backstory of the various characters and the identity of some of the Troublemakers.
2.5 stars. I think this series might be the first time I really truly believe the anime is better. It's got fun core concepts and ideas that the anime just executed better
The peek into the Past of various characters, especially Takumi, makes this one my favorite volumes of the series so far. I love how this Manga just keeps adding unique and cool characters. So far a great read, even tho I feel like were just starting on the real plot now.
