William Shakespeare said All the world’s a stage, but he hadn’t counted on shifters under a theater’s hot lights. Lovers Sam Hightower and Grant Newsome live for the stage. Although they have enjoyed the wanderlust of traveling theater for many years, each has grown tired of the road and wants to settle down. They also have a secret. As shifters and no part of any pack, they are lone wolves in every sense of the word. The full moon brings out the beast in them.
Even though their work as gaffers—lighting techs—puts them in contact with a large variety of willing, sexy men and women to share their love, they prefer men. They find a dancer, Luke Pearce, who makes their blood run hot, but Luke has a secret of his own to test them. Add scenic artists and lovers Charlotte and Lina to the mix, and you have a wild and sexy fivesome.
To spoil their fun and to their surprise, Sam and Grant discover another shifter in their midst, but this young person is so inexperienced and terrified she could expose them to the human hunters and get them killed. How can Sam and Grant protect themselves as well as the people they love?

I set my books where I live - on the coast of Massachusetts in a small town a few blocks from a churning Atlantic ocean. When it snows, this town looks like a Currier and Ives postcard.
I write paranormal erotic romance, contemporary erotic romance, and erotica. I've also written erotic fantasy, menage, f/f, bondage, and even erotic horror. No matter what you like, I have probably written it.

I was the sex columnist for the British pop culture e-zine Nuts4chic until it shut down in early 2009. N4C reminds me of People Magazine. I write about... you guessed it... sex!
This is a new author to me and I will definitely be reading more of her work!! Her characters are well developed and the storyline is intriguing. The imagery of her writing transported me to the actual events. Sam and Grant are traveling performers and lovers. They have grown tired of always traveling city to city and town to town they just want to settle down but they have a secret. They are both shifters and not being part of a pack it’s hard for them. On one of their last performances they meet a sexy dancer named Luke but he has a secret of his own. Will Sam and Great be able to hide their secret or will a young shifter expose them all?
I had to DNF this book at 42% with the line: "Plus, we swing both ways, so we’re always on the lookout for fresh meat.” As someone who is bisexual, I find this horrendously offensive in how it plays into stereotypes.
The editing is also poor. Authors, read your proofs. There's an especially bad example at kindle location 885 where a paragraph wanders off unfinished. I found incorrectly punctuated dialogue and confusing sentences with wrong words throughout. The author would occasionally contradict herself from the start of one paragraph to another. I can't even tell you what the MCs look like shifted, as the description kept changing.
I was expecting m/m/m romance, and this is not anywhere close to that. There's lust, but no love, and I can't even tell who exactly I'm rooting for to be together. It's also not erotica. There are sex scenes, but the structure of the story makes it so they're not so they're the focus.
I am very sorry I bought this book and can not recommend it to anyone. It needs another round of editing badly.
Sam and Grants lives were entwined with their work. They worked with touring dance groups. Their jobs as handy men allowed them to get to know most of the performers. Two of their best friends worked in the background too. Sam and Grant hid secrets from everyone. Will they be able to continue to hide, or must they finally speak up?
This book offers a different look at the subject matter. It's more realistic. It's well written and spicy hot! Ms. Black includes humor as well as some deep lessons many face, even if they aren't part of a fictional story. This is one you'll enjoy.
I found no issues here.
I gave this one 4 cheers out of 5 because it's a little too short. copy of book provided by author and I voluntarily reviewed it.
