Reagan Campbell's flight just got grounded. She's planned her brother's perfect wedding weekend down to the minute, but her checklist didn't include running into the one guy she's never been able to get over. Only two things stand between her and the Florida Keys: fifteen-hundred miles and the man who broke her heart.
Zach Anderson has a score to settle with Senator Campbell. And running into his daughter, Reagan, gives him just the opportunity he needs. But it'll take more than planes, trains, and automobiles to get her all the way to Florida in one piece. He might not be able to keep his hands off her cupcakes, but will he be able to keep his heart out of the way long enough to exact his revenge?
Dylann Crush writes contemporary romance with sizzle and sass. A romantic at heart, she loves her heroines spunky and her heroes super sexy. When she’s not dreaming up steamy storylines, she can be found sipping a margarita and searching for the best Tex-Mex food in Minnesota.
Although she grew up in Texas, she currently lives in a suburb of Minneapolis/St. Paul with her unflappable husband, three energetic kids, a clumsy Great Dane, a rescue mutt and a very chill cat. She loves to connect with readers, other authors and fans of tequila. You can find her at www.dylanncrush.com.
I was pretty excited to get an advanced copy of this book because Dylann Crush's books are synonymous with fun and sweet romance and this is what she delivered with this one too.
He was her lab partner, then her secret boyfriend in high school. But being a Senator's daughter is never easy for relationships and the last time Reagan Campbell saw Zach Anderson, it was at the high school graduation party. Now 8 years later, she meet him at the airport. She's going at her brother's wedding, but the weather and a chain of bad luck might make her miss the ceremony. But if fate thinks its gonna mess with her, then it doesn't know who Reagan Campbell is. And if it means going on a roadtrip with her attractive but infuriating ex, there's nothing stopping her.
I love roadtrip romance and when it's paired with two people who have an opposite attract chemistry, it's a double win! He's the laid-back, flirty kind of guy. She's the uptight worrier who have to plan everything. But it still click between them like old friends and I like how Zach unnerved her but still have a calming effect on her at the same time. I absolutely love that the cupcake on the cover have a link in the story.
My only complain is that it makes me want to go on a roatrip but it might not be the best time for it😉.
Zach is Reagan’s high school sweetheart that her dad got rid of to apparently protect her from his blackmail scheme but turns out he was the good guy.
Reagan is the daughter of a senator who would eventually run for VP. She had always been making her decisions because of the image her family has to uphold for politics.
Zach and Reagan’s story started in high school and was continued when they bumped into each other 8 years or so later. Things spiraled from there when they were “forced” to spend time together so Reagan could make it in time for her brother’s private island wedding.
This story would have been good if it weren’t for Reagan being stupid. In the beginning, i understood her thoughts and sentiments about everything but when the story progressed SHE GOT TOO ANNOYING. I felt bad for Zach because he was willing to risk his career and face her dad and the backlash just to be true to her but she was just not having it.
Reagan has been planning her brother's wedding for months so she is quite upset when her flight to the destination is cancelled. Plus she meets Zach again, the man who broke her heart! Zach is a photographer now, sometimes taking paparazzi jobs and the wedding of Reagan's brother to his boyfriend is his goal as Reagan's father is a conservative senator. When Reagan is banned from the airport they need to go on a road trip to get to the Florida Keys and the all-important wedding on time.
I love road trip stories! However, Reagan is such an annoying heroine. GAH! I cannot believe she is the daughter of a senator and that she has planned the wedding by herself. She does such stupid things! Really! The reason she is banned from the airport; the way she stubbornly won't use her father's connections to get to the wedding etc. I just wanted to urge Zach to run.. fast.
The story is written well so I am hoping for a better storyline next book. I do appreciate the cover with the cupcake is tied into the story and not just eye candy :-)

Author Dylann Crush is known for her contemporary romances and her unusual characters, but in her newest book, “All I Wanna Do Is You”, she has exceeded all expectations. Would you have ever thought that cupcakes were romantic? And what is a girl to do when her fellow calls her Cupcake? You will find out the answers to these questions in this book. Just know that I will never look at a cupcake the same way again. The characters in this book are so real and they truly remind me of a composite of people I have known. That is how real and true her characters always are, but I can actually hear the banter between Zach and Reagan, the two main characters. However, in “All I Wanna Do Is You”, author Dylann Crush went a step further. She showed us the real truth about American politics and how important trust and forgiveness is to a relationship. When you give someone the chance to tell the truth, you yourself may reap an even greater reward. I have read several of Dylann Crush’s books, but I can tell you this has been the best one yet. It is funny, it is real, and you never know what the next page will bring. In short, this book is pure entertainment in the real world. Don’t miss this book. Take it with you to the beach or the mountains, but just make sure you read it. It is worth every moment you spend reading it. Thank you, Dylann Crush, for all the entertaining moments you have given us with your books. I received an ARC of this book in return for an honest review. This review is my words and my opinions given as honestly as I can.
Second chance romances are my absolute favorites-- not because I secretly pine for any of my exes (really, younger me?! What are you thinking?!?!) but because I love the idea that all of our stupid decisions and many, MANY mistakes won't make us miss our happily-ever-afters. Dylann Crush happens to be another one of my favorites, because she creates the best characters and best dialogue I've ever come across. So naturally, I completely ignored my husband and any grownup responsibilities I had for an entire evening so I could get lost in this book.
And just as naturally, I loved it.
Did I love Reagan? I did not. But to me, that's a sign of a great writer -- crafting a character so real that I could be annoyed by her, but still desperate to find out what happens. And even though I wanted to smack her until she loosened up a little, I didn't HATE Reagan. She loved her family, worked hard, was kind to animals -- she just lived a very sheltered life and needed about a million more mojitos and cupcakes to unwind. I was happy to go on this journey with her, to watch her grow and spread her wings.
And Zach? Well, of course I loved Zach. A sexy man with tats and an easygoing attitude, who grabs life by the horns but still has a soft spot for his first love -- excuse me while I swoon. He and Reagan were like yin and yang, balancing each other perfectly (and creating plenty of laugh-out-loud moments.)
Chock full of Crush's trademark wit, humor, and heart, this book is a fun, easy read that will leave you feeling warm and fuzzy-- and craving cupcakes.
Zach Anderson and Reagan Campbell fell head over heels for each other in high school. But it was not meant to be. Reagan was a Senator's daughter and out of Zach's league. Fast forward 8 years and Reagan is in an airport on her way to her brother's wedding, and there he was. Zach. All the feels came rushing back, so good but also bad. The chemistry between them is still evident and very hot.
Mishaps and Misadventures cause a domino effect that leads them to go on a road trip together to reach the wedding on time. On their journey they both find out the greatest challenge is discovering who you really are deep inside and being happy and content with it. As always Dylann Crush sprinkles her magic of humor, steam and romance into her books which always results in an adventure of a lifetime, and this one is no exception.
I really enjoyed this relatively light, contemporary, second-chance romance. Watching the relationship that slowly forms between Zach and Reagan is delightful!
She is pretty much a by-the-book, planner-in-hand, rule-follower, (who remind me much of myself in that way); but she is also something of a pretentious, ice queen, who hides behind her social status and decorum whenever she feels threatened. Which is pretty much all the time around Zach! He makes her feel alive and happy, but also unmoored and vulnerable. She knows that she's never gotten over him, and is scared to spend too much time in his presence, least she succumb to those feelings again, and get hurt when he once again moves on.
Zach, for his part, doesn't fully realize, at least not right away, how much for a special place Reagan always has and still does occupy in his heart. Only as they get close to one another again, and start to fall into good, familiar habits, does he finally begin to admit to himself how special she is to him. When he is finally able to break through the walls she has erected to truly let him in, while helping her to relax and have some genuine fun, that is when he decides that she's worth trying to keep this time.
Unfortunately, there are other players who do not want to see these two get together. Things get rather ugly for awhile there. The near end was extremely upsetting to me; just too much angst, drama, and pain for my taste. Zach and Reagan do finally achieve their happily-ever-after, but it takes them quite some time to get there.
I was disappointed at how little they discussed the things that drove them apart, both in the past and the present. I felt like after all the emotional expense of the novel, they needed all of that to be more resolved and settled so that they could truly put it behind them. And also that Reagan's hurdle that she crosses to go to Zach should have at least been mentioned to him, so that he'd know how much effort she put into being with him.
The writing style was pretty straight-forward and easy, with a good flow of characters and activity. There were, however, just a couple of times when the dialogue and actions seemed a bit stilted and slightly off. The big fight between the major players was one time when this was particularly in evidence.
This was the first book I've read by this author; and, despite the aforementioned drawbacks, I think I would definitely be willing to try other works of hers in the future.
I won a free eBook copy of this title from the author in an online contest, and have willingly provided an honest review.
Another amazing read with Florida as part of the story. I am starting to think that this is sign to run over to Florida for the summer for sure!
Ok lets get down to this amazing love story, here comes Reagan, a politicians daughter, so you already know she is seriously a huge goody two shoes, which is her major downfall. The story begins with this love that she has for her boyfriend Zach who she is seeing secretly. He is not what her father will thin suitable for her, unfortunately this is another thing she lost all because she followed her father instead of following her heart.. This broke my heart, she has never followed her heart, everything she does is for the sake of making her father look good throughout his career, what she learns after this whole book is enough to shock you, but very expected.
Years later, what a crazy coincidence that she bumps into him, and I am telling you ALL readers, the author did their thing to describe this hunk of a man. Everything about them I loved from the beginning, of their meet again, at the beginning of the book I thought it was going to be one of those teenage love books, and I was not for it but this SHIFT? I seriously couldn’t wait to read some more.
So Reagan is seriously a hot mess, and thank god that Zach was there for her through it all. Now lets not think of Zach being this Knight in shinning armor, because his first intentions were not all that pure, he has secrets and the pressure is on, until they both discover things along the way to Florida, feelings and all of that good steamy stuff.
One thing I loved about this book is the way Reagan found her way, the way Zach has also found himself as well, Reagan stood up to her family, and stood her ground for once in her life, something she knew she should’ve done from the beginning, and she finally got her happy ending of course.
Its never a dull moment with Zach that’s for sure.
Thanks NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this amazing book.
Yeah wasn't happy with this book, and I feel like I wasted my time and that I tend hate. Reagan was a stuck up person with a stick up her butt, didn't care for her and all. Zach was a little better to take than Reagan but I wouldn't classify him as a book boyfriend for me, as they started driving to Florida and spent so much time together you originally hoped that they would reconnect but before even midway I couldn't have cared less.
rcvd an ARC at no cost to author...(netgalley) voluntarily reviewed with no thoughts and opinions.
* I got this eARC from Netgalley and Dylann Crush* This seemed interesting at first, but i quickly lost interest because of the main characters. They sadly just didn`t pipe my interest. Found them bland and boring, and their insta-love didn`t help. I liked the start but it jumped too suddenly to 8 years later. But, you win some and you loose some.
This wasn't as good as I had hoped. Like others I just didn't really care for the characters. The whole politics and drama were over the top. I just really never got into this. I was happy that Zach and Reagan got their second chance. Especially since their first time didn't end well.
The build-up in this book is mesmerizing and made me root for a beautiful HEA all the way through. The characters are wonderful and perfect for eachother. It is a funny, steamy and engrossing story that I would read again.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book.
I love Crush’s characters and the sarcastic, witty back and forth. This book is funny, sexy and sweet with lots of twists and turns to keep you rooting for the character ms.
There was good chemistry between the lead characters and I liked their shared history. There were some funny moments and some sweet moments between them and I was routing for them to get together.
One issue I had was how implausible most of the storyline was. There is a series of disastrous events that are supposed to lend comedy, but they felt forced. There were many times when the reader says to themself, "Well why didn't they just __________?" and after a while that starts to get annoying.
Overall a decent read, but not one of my favorites.
I received an ARC of this title from Netgalley in exchange for my honest review.
I saw 'road trip' and 'romcom' and it was all over. Just hadta! I had a good time with the author's Holiday, Texas series so it was not a big decision to gather up this fun-looking standalone second chancer.
All I Wanna Do Is You starts out in the past with a couple teenagers in love and their future looking bright. A father with ideas about class differences. A dutiful daughter. A dark bit of mischief and the pair is parted to go about their separate lives.
Until fate by the way of uptight and always rushing to please her dad, Reagan Campbell, finds herself in a real jam. She is coordinating her brother's wedding in Miami and bad weather, a lost ID, and her own dumb remark get her banded from the airport in Kentucky. Good thing her old flame, Zach Anderson, happens to be there and has his own reasons for being willing to go on a road trip with Reagan to points south. If the usual road trip happenstances, Reagan's stress tendencies, and their unresolved past don't get to them then the new uncomfortable attraction just might. But, this time will things end differently?
All I Wanna Do Is You started out pretty rocky for me. No kidding, because I didn't like either of the main characters and couldn't get behind the romance But, I did like the author's writing in the past so I read on trusting her to come through in the end.
Reagan annoyed me from the second I encountered her and that never changed. Unfortunately. I totally get that this was meant to be a light comedy with Reagan as the comic role. I do. That said, I didn't find her funny and ended up nitpicking and grinding my teeth until rather late in the book. If you tell me a gal is smart and put together, then she needs to be smart and put together at least much of the time. For instance, what fool hollers 'bomb' in an airport? Or, well, because dad is big stuff senate majority leader, won't call up and ask dad to use his private plane when the current air taxi sitch fails? She caved to dad about everything else and her brother's wedding was a legit reason to borrow. Then there was the whining and judgy remarks. This gal could make a cranky nap-deprived two year old sound mellow. What in tarnation did Zach see in this chick? And, that was the crux of the matter for me since this is a romance. Where was the attraction and the chemistry coming from?
As to Zach, he had done stints when his day time photographer jobs weren't there to pay the bills moonlighting as paparazzi. And, guess what? Reagan's conservative jerk of a dad has a son marrying his male staffer right when dad is making his bid for Vice Prez and trying to keep the wedding on the down low. Zach was out to get a bit of revenge against the senator after what the man did to break up him and Reagan and nearly destroy him back in high school so he was pleased to give her a ride right to that wedding. I totally get the temptation, but it did nothing for my wanting to get behind him as a romance hero. Fortunately, Zach had a change of heart pretty soon into the story.
Whew boy! Now, all that being said, the road trip scenario had its fun moments and I ended up really loving Zach and loving to loathe Senator Campbell. I might not have liked Reagan much of the time, but I still was cheering for her to find her backbone, loosen up, go for what she wanted and tell her dad to go get lost in the alligator swamps. That epilogue was sensational and made up for quite a bit. This had some really good moments and the pair were sexy after a bit. The cupcake (the one on the cover) was a fun and adorable thread in the story.
So, in the end, I finished and was smiling, but no, it didn't entirely make up for the beginning. I love the author's writing and will be reading more of her new releases and some on her backlist that I've missed. I am going to recommend this one to others since the heroine might not get to them like with me and it has a lot of fun and sexy moments.
My thanks to the author via Net Galley for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.
I really enjoyed "All I Wanna Do Is You" by Dylann Crush, a funny and sweet story featuring a second chance romance between former high school sweethearts Zach Anderson and Reagan Campbell. Eight years after their breakup, Zach and Reagan run into each other again while waiting for a flight to Miami, and through a series of unfortunate events, they end up taking an epic road trip together from Chicago to the Florida Keys. Over the course of the next few days, Reagan and Zach are faced with just about every travel calamity one could imagine, but still manage to rekindle their old flame along the way. However, obstacles from the past in the form of Reagan's overbearing father, a conservative senator, are waiting to confront them at their destination, and Zach is hiding some secrets of his own that are sure to cause problems if revealed.
Reagan and Zach made a very likeable couple, and I couldn't help but root for them to work through all of the problems they faced and find a way to be together. Their relationship development was nicely paced, and their banter as they got to know each other again after so many years apart was quite amusing. I also appreciated that Zach stepped up to help Reagan when he really didn't have to do so. At first, he tried to convince himself that he was actually seizing an opportunity to help himself, but that idea was quickly abandoned when he realized how much Reagan would be hurt if he followed through with his original plan.
It can't have been easy for Reagan to grow up as the daughter of a politician with all of the pressure that comes with being in the public eye. It was no surprise to me that she seemed so uptight, lonely, and anxious when she first met Zach again. Her father clearly put his career before his family and expected his children to make sacrifices in their personal lives to support his political career. I loved watching Reagan slowly gain the confidence she needed to stand up to her father and stop letting him dictate how she lived her life. Her relationship with Zach obviously made her very happy, and the senator had no right to expect her to sacrifice it just because Zach didn't quite fit with the image he wanted to portray.
Overall, "All I Wanna Do Is You" was an enjoyable story and I would recommend it for all fans of contemporary romance and romantic comedy. I look forward to reading more of Dylann Crush's work in the future.

It pains me to write this since I enjoy Dylann Crush's 'Holiday, Texas' series, but I really didn't like this book. I had to literally force myself to sit down and finish the book (took 5 days), mostly because I absolutely hated Reagan. The only time I liked her was in the epilogue. It's really hard to like a book when you can't stand one of the main characters. I don't think it was the writing at all, but rather the character that I had the hardest time with.
Reagan is a senator's daughter and her dad is probably the next Vice President of the United States. Her dad basically controls her life, always critiques her and she just lets him get away with it all. She was dating Zach in high school until her dad found out and blamed him for trying to blackmail the family. So he left, became a photographer and she hasn't seen him in a long time. Flash forward to them ending up at the same airport on the same flight. Reagan is on the way to Miami for her brother's (same-sex) wedding and that's when this book adventure begins. Their flights are canceled and Zach swoops in to rescue her despite him resenting her father.
Everything that happens afterwards can't even be considered cute or funny in my opinion. For Reagan to be so 'smart' she sure does make a lot of stupid mistakes. She's also snobby, judgmental, and a flat out idiot for most of the book. The only thing I'll give her credit for is having a heart sometimes, but it hardly makes up for her being a spoiled rich girl the rest of the book.
I'll admit that I didn't like Zach at first. By 15% into the book, I already knew what the big blow up will be in the end, so it was just a 'wait and see' until the end to find out just how bad it would be. In the beginning, I thought that Zach would end up being this terrible person too. But it wasn't like that and he showed he had some great qualities. He wasn't a bad guy and certainly had the patience of a saint to deal with Reagan's antics. He came off a bit like a stereotypical surfer dude who was always chill, which I guess is needed if you're spending that much time in a car with Reagan.
The epilogue was nice, I only wish the rest of the book had painted Reagan in a better light.
Reagan Campbell has planned the perfect wedding for her brother in Florida. The problem is that she did not leave with them she decided to leave latter by herself. Now at the airport waiting she just so happens to fun into her high school boyfriend. Zach Anderson has not seen or spoken to Regan since after the night in the closet and then when a friend tried to go to her father and talk him out of money yet the father believed it was Zach’s idea and threatened him and Zach’s father. Now seeing her for the first time in years he finds himself still attracted to her. What she does not know is that he has been hired to take photos of her brother's wedding for a rag magazine and if her father is having an affair. Really though the story begins when they have to debark from the plane in Louisville. It is here that she not only has her lounge lost but finds out that she left her wallet on the plane. Having to spend the night with Zach has only heightened her anxiety to a new level. Wait though she is able to go much higher. The next morning when she thinks she will be checking in to board the plane. She can’t no I.D. stepping from the TSA agent she makes the mistake of saying now the wedding will blow up, just explode with her not there. Yes, she gets striped search and not by Zach. They or Zach rents a car and the trip to Florida is a hoot, and a finding of each other with tattoos, piercings that he has which is a surprise to her and also something nice. People they meet a dog, she works on her fear of heights and yes eventually arrives, even that way is funny. What is not funny is the way Zach is treated and how I was rooting for him and Reagan to be together. Wanting her to stand up to her controlling father. Did not like how he used his own son and then tossed him to the side. Read this fun story to see what happens. Very much worth the read.
All I Wanna Do Is You by Dylann Crush is a fun book full of everyday life. It's a road trip gone wrong. It's lies and half-truths, and manipulation at its best. It is advertised as a rom-com and it fulfills that promise to the max. Reagan Campbell's father is a US senator, no more honest than any of them. He has used that fact to manipulate her for years, always reminding her of how it looks and how it will affect HIS career, with never a thought to her. She is at the airport when she hears a voice from the past...Zach Anderson, her high school boyfriend. She hadn't seen him for years, ever since her dumped her...not even in person. He was on the plane to Miami, too. Was there anything that could make this night go more wrong? Yes, a part that couldn't be replaced and grounded them in Lexington. Yes, her luggage had gone to Alaska. And more...
All I Wanna Do Is You is fun through and through, from the disastrous road trip to the aftermath of her brother's wedding. Thank God the wedding itself has been fine. Zach had stepped up and been the replacement photographer after the first one reneged, but they'd made him turn over the SD card before he had even seen he photos...that's how paranoid they were. She didn't believe him. One more time, she believed her father, even quit her job to work for him on the Vice Presidential campaign. What a huge mess. She hated it. I loved it. I loved Zach. I loved Reagan. This story made me laugh. I couldn't put it down. Read it. You will love it.

Overall a decent second chance/opposites attract romance. Reagan and Zach were secret high school sweethearts when an incident tears them apart. Eight years later, Reagan is at the airport to join her family in Florida for her brothers wedding. Her brother is marrying a male staffer for her conservative Senator father, so if it gets out, it could be politically damaging. When her plane is delayed she sees Zach in the crowded bar, and he offers to let her sit at his table. Zach is now a photographer, working to set up his studio of travel photography. But to pay the bills, he has done some paparazzi work. He had been contracted to get some dirt on Reagan’s father, so when their flight gets cancelled, it is a perfect opportunity to road trip together. Along the way, it becomes less about the job, and more about Reagan. It was a decent story, but there were a few things that kept it from being a great story for me. First, it was very predictable, you could figure out pretty early on exactly what would happen. Second, I wasn’t overly thrilled with Reagan. She is 25 and still cowed by her father. I wasn’t really sure what Zach saw in her. And lastly, I disliked Reagan’s family dynamics. Again, not a bad read, just not my favorite.
I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley for my honest review.
All I Wanna Do Is You is a second chance romantic comedy of errors, with a road trip plot between the boring and ridiculous Reagan Campbell and one-show pony Zach Anderson. I was looking forward to reading an amusing anecdotal road trip romance, but instead I read about a very unintelligent and bumbling woman, Reagan Campbell and her irreverent, insipid foil, Zach Anderson. I thought— considering there were eight years since the two characters have seen each other— there should have been either more natural camaraderie between the two, or less. For an allegedly ‘smart’ person, Reagan makes dumb choice after dumb choice throughout this story, while the reader continues to read about one-dimensional Zach who apparently never got over what happened at his and Reagan’s high school graduation party.
Nonsensical and dragging; I didn’t root for any character’s in this insipid road trip, stuck-in-high-school meandering story. Like another reviewer stated, if you are looking for a funny road trip romance, look to Susan Elizabeth Phillips’ Heaven Texas, and/or Natural Born Charmer for banter, smiles, and falling in love. Good luck out there.

Reagan and Zach secretly dated in high school but when they get exposed during a party things end between them. Now years later they run into each other in an airport. Reagan thinks Zach is just a photography but he also works for a tabloid and when he sees her it peaks his interest in a story. So he sticks by her to get his pictures but nothing goes as planned. First their plane has issues so they have to land then they missed their next flight and Reagan doesn't have her wallet or her luggage. Things just keep happening to them as they try to make it to where the wedding is being held. When the photographer for the wedding cancels Reagan asks Zach if he'll take the job. He can't believe his luck however the longer he is with her the more his feelings for her come back. What will Reagan do when she learns he was using her at first? Can they find their way back to each other again?
I loved this story it had me laughing at parts and wanting to scream at others. The chemistry between them is sizzling hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Reagan Campbell is a uptight, stressed out U.S. Senators daughter. She has planned her brother's perfect wedding at a secret location, but everything goes wrong when she decides to take a commercial flight instead of the private plane her family took to the wedding. Zach Anderson is a hot, sexy guy from her past. He left her for some lame excuse. Now he has been hired to take pictures of her father's affair, but she doesn't know this when they run into each other at the airport. Zach still loves Reagan and struggles with exposing her family's secrets. When Reagan makes some unintentional security problems at the airport, Zach steps in to help her. Now they must drive the remaining way to the wedding. The road trip is full of detours, complications, and emotional feelings that both of them had not expected and cupcakes. Reagan snaps back and forth between the uptight senator's daughter to the fun-loving carefree girl she really is. Zach struggles over the money for the job or the girl he has always wanted. This book is full of laughs, gasps, and tears as Reagan and Zach both figure out the relationship the two of them share.
All I wanna do is you is a second chance romance. Reagan and Zach were together in high school, but Regan's father didn't approve of him and after an incident at a party, they split up and haven't seen each other since. Now, running into one another once again they can't resist the chemistry. This isn't a bad little romance, so why only three stars? Perhaps it's a little harsh of me, but part of the problem was that I just didn't really take to Reagan. Uptight characters are one thing, but she was beyond that, no wonder her father had such an influence over her. I'm really not sure what Zack saw in her. The other issue what that Reagan's father is awful. It's one thing having an overbearing parent, but there was nothing nice about him at all. Overall, it's a good read and nice romance if that's what you're in the mood for. Other people might well enjoy it more if they're not so annoyed by the characters as I was. I received a complimentary copy of this book through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
Reagan was a U.S. senator’s daughter and Zach was the son of a working father. They had been together in high school until her father found out about the relationship. They met again 8 years later at an airport in Chicago when they were both flying to Florida. Reagan was going for her brother’s wedding which she had helped plan and Zach who was now a photographer was being forced to go by a sleazy boss to get information on the senator. They have a long series of mishaps on their trip to Florida and end up flying and driving together. They establish a connection again during their trip but Zach never tells her about his reason for the trip. Things do not go smoothly for the couple and if the senator has his way they will remain apart. Will their love survive?
This was a fun story to read, especially their adventures on the road. The characters were well developed and it was enjoyable reading about their good and bad times.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Reagan is prim, proper, and polite afterall she is the daughter of a prominent Senator and she reflects her father. Zach is none of that, he's the badboy who broke her teenager heart. A chance encounter at the airport throws these two together again for an epic adventure. Both on their way to Florida, Reagan for her brother's secret wedding and Zach for a photography job these two push aside their differences to overcome the plane trouble which sets off a series of comical setbacks on their way. The flight turns into a road trip with several bumps along the way and it seems these two still have the same chemistry and more than they did in highschool proving Reagan hasn't completely lost herself to her family expectations and Zach still has a weakness for her and cupcakes. Dylann's story will have you laughing, crying, and praying for that happily ever after. Reagan and Zach are such fun characters that take you feel like you know them and you can't wait to watch it unfold and cheer them on.

Zach gets a second chance in the most unexpected of ways with his high school sweetheart & the One Who Got Away - Reagan. Once he gets her to loosen up, have fun and be herself, it looks as though their story could have the ending he'd always dreamed it would. But will the secrets he has keep Zach from convincing Reagan that they can weather any storm together?
I gave this book a 3.5 star rating because I found Reagan hard to like for a great portion of the book. Yes, I understand that a lot of her quirks and personality stemmed from being controlled by her dad, but I found her to be a bit too stuck up, whiny and overall, annoying at times. Zach was okay, though I felt that he was a bit too cavalier and insensitive at times concerning Reagan's time constraints and feelings.
The epilogue was a good finishing touch, and both main characters managed to redeem themselves enough by the end to make me smile while reading the last lines.
I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC of this book.
Hilarious! This must be the most entertaining book I have ever read. I think if I was on a trip like this, I would have given up on the first day! The description doesn’t come close to preparing the reader for the laughter and giggles this book will produce. Reagan Campbell is the daughter of a Senator and her life is governed by her father. She has learned the hard way to not trust anyone. She has organized the perfect wedding for her brother in a secret location off the Florida Keys. She has to get there before the wedding but her plans for travel become unplanned. Zach Anderson wants to get back at Senator Campbell. Running into Reagan, his high school sweetheart will make his job easier. All he has to do is stick with her and find out where the wedding is so he can get some pictures. Their simple travel plans become an adventure as they try to make it to Florida in time for the wedding. This was a great second chance romance filled with tons of giggles.
Is it all coincidence or a ploy to get inside information on her family. Reagan is having the worst trip of her life and she runs into her old boyfriend Zach who ditched eight years ago with no explanation. This trip will definitely remind you of Planes, Trains and Automobiles, there are so many wonderful lol moments you won’t be able to keep track. Also, it brings on some self discovery as well for both Reagan and Zach, good character development. Love the numerous delays and mistakes that are made by them, knowing that this could just about happen to anyone traveling in today’s times. I will have to say I was disappointed in Reagan’s initial decision towards the end, but love that she more than made up for it by standing up for herself and moving on to live the life she so well deserves.

A trip down memory lane and off into the sunset: Oh, I just loved this book! It is about two seemingly opposite individuals who have to work through their past feelings and hurts as they discover who they are these 8 years later and what they are prepared to do now that they are back in each other's lives. Zach is caught between saving his career and trying to start afresh with Reagan. Meanwhile she has to choose between pleasing her demanding father and forging a future of her own choosing. Their journey (literally and figuratively) is a tumultuous one with plenty of drama and angst but there was also just the right amount of humour too. I really enjoyed this steamy standalone and look forward to reading more from this talented author. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
