This story takes us behind the scenes of juvenile court where we get to see how the wheels of justice turn. It also takes us to the streets and foster/group homes of children who are languishing in the foster care system. Although the story is fiction it’s plausible, presenting a culmination of real world issues we don’t see every day. I applaud these authors for writing with courage and look forward to another work from them - Surely Kristin and Mary never run out of stories about the kids they help.
