This was a great addition to the Everyday Heroes World with Jaxon and his immediate attraction towards Ella. I love how he knew and tried to help her see her worth. Ella is guarded and I felt for her from the very beginning. Their chemistry is intense and I loved seeing how Ella grows through the story.

A great addition to The Everyday Heroes World. Jaxon is a firefighter in Australia and when his mom passes his only living relative his sister convinces him to come to Sunnyville to work at the fire station there so they could be together. At the hospital tending to a wound from a call he is treated by Ella and is immediately drawn to her. Ella has been living in Sunnyville for about 8 years and tends to be a homebody who's guarded because of events from her past and only goes out occasionally with her friend Leah, when she goes to help Jaxon she feels and instant connection and finds herself agree to meet him for drinks. As thing progress circumstances happen that try to tear them apart. A beautiful, tragic, steamy, heartwarming story.

I received an ARC and volunteered to leave a review.

This is a great addition to the awesome series and is Jaxson and Ella’s journey. Jaxson is a firefighter and when he is dispatched to a car accident, he gets injured and is sent to the ER for attention. Jaxson meets hospice nurse Ella there and he is instantly in love, but she is very guarded, and insecure about her self-worth, but he is determined to break through her walls and convince her to take a chance on them being together. This is a beautifully written story which pulls at the heartstrings throughout, as well as being an emotional roller coaster. I was completely enthralled throughout this heartwarming and entertaining love story, and I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I recommend.
