Follow Me Under is even sexier and darker than the first book in the series. Helen Hardt's writing is so captivating and sensual which makes this book impossible to put down. Skye and Braden's relationship is so addicting and I absolutely love reading more of their story.
The book picks up right where the story left off. Skye and Braden are in love with each other but she is finding it hard to find out more about him the person rather than his celebrity. Addison Ames, her ex-boss, and Braden's past relationship is still lingering in the back of her mind. Will Braden ever admit what actually happened? If not, will Skye ever be able to let it go?
This book is so good because there is so much unknown and dark about Braden. Yes, he is opening up with Skye but still loves control. Things begin to get a little more complicated when Braden begins to want more control of Skye's life and not just in the bedroom. There are times when I feel like he is too demanding especially when he wants Skye to be honest with him when he isn't as transparent when she asks the same of him. But that is what makes this story and relationship so intriguing.
As the story goes on, I love that Skye is growing on a personal and business level. She is starting to explore and understand more about what pleasure means to her and what she likes and doesn't like in the bedroom. But she is struggling in this book. I felt the tension the entire time like she was about to break at any moment. She too likes control and it seems like the more control she gives up the more she is losing. She is struggling with her confidence, being a good friend, and just being enough. As she is leading this new high-profile life, she has lost who she is.
Braden also grew so much in this book. I don't think he will ever lose his need to dominate or control but he sure began to break down some of his emotional walls. He never thought he could love someone and yet he loves Skye. I think we see just how much he loves her in a couple of beautiful scenes. His love comes through when he sees Skye hurting.
There is a big revelation at the end of this book and I am so eager to see how it all plays out in the third book.
I give Follow Me Under 5 stars. I love reading about Skye and Braden and this book just took their story to a whole new level. I was intrigued by Braden's dark side, blushed at every sexy scene, and captivated by Skye's personal growth along with her struggles. Helen Hardt's writing continues to dazzle with this series. I am anticipating the conclusion to this series.

GAHHHH!!!! I am absolutely addicted to this series. I need more! The endings are killing me. I must know how this turns out. The huge secret is driving me insane. Which is exactly what Hardt wants...everyone hooked until the very last word. She nailed it! I can't wait to see how this turns out. It's a deliciously sexy story with lots of detail. The flow is great. It's just a damn good read!

Firstly, you need to read Follow Me Darkly (Book 1) before starting this.
Helen Hardt delivered an emotionally gripping, addictive and all-consuming continuous of Skye and Braden story.
Braden and Skye's relationship deepens, the more they fall for each other, the more intense it gets, the chemistry and passion between these two are on fire. However, Skye is struggling with Braden's history with her ex-boss Addison. She has a whole lot of self doubt that she needs to work through. As the story unfolds, even more questions about Braden's past surface and the more mysterious he gets. Will these two be able to make it work? Will Skye move past her self doubt? Or will it ruin her chance at being with the love of her life? What are these secrets that Braden has hidden?
Gah, I need to know more! I need to book 3 now! I NEED ANSWERS!
This story has grabbed hold of me. It has my emotions on overdrive, has me swooning like crazy and has me needing to know more about Braden! The author has created a love story that I can't get enough of. It's full of mystery, suspense, passion and heat.. oh so much heat!

This Series has gotten Darker, Sexier, Kinkier, HOTTER with This Unputdownable Addition. A Gripping Story with its Heart-racing Elements AND The "Omg?!" Cliffhanger that has me counting days until the Finale.
I fell in love With Braden & Skye a little more here! DEVOURED this within 6hrs.
This Book Picks up exactly where the last one ended. And Gladly, Skye Confronts Braden about the Reason of his Breakup with Addison, Skye's Ex-boss, 10yrs ago. But Braden's as Secretive as ever...And What happened Years ago has nothing to do with what's happening NOW b/w Skye & Him. She's still curious, It's His 1 major Secret after all, but decides to let it go for Now.
Braden Never meant to fall in love With Skye, but he did (& they've already confessed it In previous book!)...& Now Resisting it is Proving Futile.
Skye's learning to surrender her control. Braden's a Dom through & through, that's unchangeable. I loved seeing him opening up here, both Emotionally & with his Secrets. But he's still keeping Secrets..While demanding All of hers.
"What exactly do I feel when I surrender my control to Braden, the man I love? Liberated. I feel fucking liberated."
Trust is Important, They have it. Right?

You must read book 1 to fully grasp the characters and the story happening in book 2.
I read Follow Me Darkly and was eagerly anticipating Follow Me Under.
Follow Me Under picks right where Follow Me Darkly ends. No time has passed. The story does have a quick pace to it. However, there are moments where the story feels unoriginal.
However outside of the quick pace and a very good amount of steam (Author can bring the steam and spice for sure.) This story fell a lot of flat for me.
Skye continues to feel immature and stunted. In book one she seemed naive and hopeful in book two she feels petty and childish in her behaviors. Her response do seem to fall in line with someone constantly seeking approval. She does not have the confidence to truly sell herself as an influencer. Her desire to be “Like” her former boss made her very tepid.
The author knows how to write an alpha hero. But Braden kind of hero rubbed me the wrong way. He pushes for trust but keeps secrets. What little I know of true BDSM relationship openness and communication is imperative. There was zero communication and so many secrets in this relationship none of it fit together. Braden isn’t likeable at all. He has no redeemable qualities. Too demanding, too bossy. I also feel like there was not a big OMG moment in this book and didn’t feel like anything major happened. The story, character development comes off as lukewarm for me. I do however, plan on reading book 3, as I would like some conclusion to the story.

My heart is tied up in knots! Follow Me Under continues with the Braden and Skye's journey to find love among their chaotic lives. A beautifully dark continuation of Tessa and Braden's story that will leave you breathlessly awaiting the conclusion in Follow Me Always. My heart was not prepared for the emotional highs and lows you'll go through as the reader, but I couldn't put this book down once I started!

This book is a boring dragging mess!
Considering that this is an ARC that i procrastinated for more than a year to read, I'll come up with my honest review someday, that will probably be better than this random story of a girl who doesn't know what she wants or who she is or anything at all, and her love interest that only tells her to shut up, like to play with ropes, and have a secret since book one that no one cares.
I won't even mention how many unnecessary and repetitive words and sentences are here, otherwise I'll probably rewrite the book!
Will I be reading the next?
Probably, cause i already have it.
Will I regret it?
Also probably, cause so far, this trilogy sucks!

Mmmmm such a wild ride with Skye and Braden. He is controlling and insightful, always knowing what she needs before she knows it. And oh, that ending... yikes.
Hardt is a master of words, building that heat, passion, and anticipation so perfectly!! Cannot wait for the next book!

Now that I’ve had a few minutes to lay down and digest what the heck I just read, my only thought is: W O W. I am gobsmacked. I absolutely devoured Follow Me Darkly when it came out and fell in love with Skye and Braden. This only made it ten times larger.
Immediately following the events of Follow Me Darkly, Follow Me Under picks up and never slows down. The quick pacing, the character arcs continuing to grow, the prose, the dynamics- all fantastic and flawless. I truly felt like I went on the journey as Skye. Honestly, I wish I did. This was well thought out and incredibly well executed. It added more to the sexy, but took nothing away from the plot. Watching Skye grow and learn has been beautiful and so fun. I love how she’s becoming confident, yet still depends on Braden.
Don’t even get me started on my love for Braden. His walls are slowly coming down and his small gestures truly melt my heart. They only get better and better and I only want one for my own more and more.
Helen absolutely smashed it out of the park with Follow Me Under and now I will wallow in the darkness as I await for Follow Me Always. Fantastic. If you’re looking for a great adult romance series with A LOT of spice, look no further!

Holy Hotness Batman! This story takes Skye deeper into the world of BDSM which Braden enjoys and Skye finally realizes what she has been missing all this time. The sensuality and deep connection that it evokes from her is something that she craves, but how far is she willing to go to please Braden.

I had pretty high hopes going into this book. I was excited to see where the story was going to go, but this one sort of flopped for me. I still don't like Braden and Skye is really starting to piss me off, for the lack of better words. But she is. I thought they might grow on me more with the second book but that's not the case. I was hoping for more progression with their relationship, but it felt stagnant and like we were running around in circles. Braden is very adamant about keeping secrets from Skye but expects her to trust him. One of the pillars of a BDSM relationship is communication, but there is zero communication between the two and so many secrets. Especially since they keep having the same fight over and over again. I had a tough time connecting with the both of them in this book and was just hoping for more.
I didn't hate this book, by any means. I enjoyed reading it. A lot. I thought it was easy to read and follow along, it was easy to get caught up into what was going on but I’m just not sold on our two main characters, yet. I hope they somehow redeem themselves for me in the final book. I am excited to read book three and see how everything wraps up!

Follow me Under is the second book in the Follow Me series. The story escalates further into Braden's BDSM world. He introduces Skye to erotic experiences that awakens and surprises both Skye and himself as well. But Skye feels this is just the tip of the iceberg with Braden. He still has many layers that she desires to unravel. Everything is skyrocketing for Skye with her career, but at what price? She feels very lost and questions who she is anymore.
We see a shift in Braden as he discovers feelings in himself that are new and foreign to him. He struggles trying to understand why he is experiencing these emotions when he sees Skye upset. He is not accustomed to his heart hurting when he sees her in pain.
I look forward to the conclusion of this series to find out unanswered questions and to see how everything turns out.

I really did try. I read book 1, and it was okay so I was super pumped for book 2 thinking this was where it was going to pick up, the story would really grab ahold of me..... and it didn’t..and I’m sad

Helen is blowing me away with this series. Braden and Skye are working at their relationship but there are a ton of things trying to pull them apart. Can Skye be under Braden's spell and not loose herself. Will Braden be able or willing to let Skye into his heart and his life. There is a lot of feelings and changes in both of their lives and minds. This is the second book in this series and they must be read in order, but both will pull you under and I can't wait for more!!

Before you dive into this one you definitely need to read book one. Book two picks up right where the first left off, diving right into the plot. I am a bit torn on this one with the character development even though I enjoyed the steam and the plot progress. Skye was on the naïve side in the first novel and she seemed to grow into herself a bit by the end. I was hoping it would lead more into her growth and owning her sexual identity and prowess. However, she lost more of herself in this book than I expected. She pushed aside friends and harbored anger, insecurities and drama like a hoarder. Maybe it was the purpose of this novel to break her down to this level. Maybe the author wanted to paint this lopsided agreement of trust and giving one’s self to someone. Just maybe what we all think the ending will be won’t be that at all. Just maybe… and you know what? I really like maybes in my books.

Now that I’ve had a few minutes to lay down and digest what the heck I just read, my only thought is: W O W. I am gobsmacked. I absolutely devoured Follow Me Darkly when it came out and fell in love with Skye and Braden. This only made it ten times larger.
Immediately following the events of Follow Me Darkly, Follow Me Under picks up and never slows down. The quick pacing, the character arcs continuing to grow, the prose, the dynamics- all fantastic and flawless. I truly felt like I went on the journey as Skye. Honestly, I wish I did. This was well thought out and incredibly well executed. It added more to the sexy, but took nothing away from the plot. Watching Skye grow and learn has been beautiful and so fun. I love how she’s becoming confident, yet still depends on Braden.
Don’t even get me started on my love for Braden. His walls are slowly coming down and his small gestures truly melt my heart. They only get better and better and I only want one for my own more and more.
Helen absolutely smashed it out of the park with Follow Me Under and now I will wallow in the darkness as I await for Follow Me Always. Fantastic. If you’re looking for a great adult romance series with A LOT of spice, look no further!

Follow Me Under picks up right where things left off with Braden and Skye, so Follow Me Darkly must be read first.
The moment I started reading this book I couldn’t put it down. I got completely wrapped up in the story, the characters and well everything Braden Black. I wanted to know more about Braden, his secrets, his limits. While some questions were answered, some more came up!
There is no denying that the chemistry between Braden and Skye is explosive. Seriously, these two will melt your kindles! I loved that we got to see more to Braden and all his fantasies and Skye exploring them and finding her limits with it all. Braden is all about trust and he wants complete trust from Skye, however, there are things he is hiding and I am DYING to know.
Skye is struggling with her identity throughout this story, she is losing who she is as her relationship with Braden continues and she is experiencing a lot of changes in her life. While, people may not be experiencing the exact same issues as Skye, I think many can relate to it all on some level.
I can’t wait to see where Skye and Braden’s relationship goes, what secrets the man is still hiding and I truly hope that Skye is able to find herself and become a stronger woman.

As Braden and Skye’s story continues it gets better and more intense than ever, this book is emotional on another level, it made me cry it made me swoon and it’s hot but seriously hot and unpredictable.
Helen Hardt delivers us yet another masterpiece it’s perfect and it will keep you glued to the pages in no time.
I seriously hope May 25th comes soon, I can’t wait for the next book.

Oh, Braden...I dislike your character so much in here. Miss girlie, Skye....get yourself together. You have a brain...please stop being a Mary Sue and get yourself together.
Everything was fine until the last few chapters of the book when we learn Braden's hard limit. Bitch. What??? So now, they are on the brink of splitting because of it??? Missy Skye was ready to lose control completely but she wants something Braden can't give. Miss Girlie is ready to lose it all to this man:
"I want to tell him I'll do anything to please him. I want to bare my soul, confess my love, tell him I'll do anything...anything...but I sit quietly. ..because I'm afraid where this is leading." (P.322)
Oh my gahhdddd. I'm annoyed lmao.
Also, it seems that Addie KNOWS all of Braden's MO with Skye. Like EVERYTHING public ( from the clamps to the butt plugs ordeal) I feel bad for Skye tbh cause I would be so hurt if my man is repeated past actions with me. Oh heck no.) Also, on Skye's influencing : Nobody cares for her photography just her presence as " Braden Black's girlfriend". I feel bad for miss girlie.
Gonna take a break from book three cause I'm a bit peeved by our two characters. Miss girlie skye is turning into mush ready to present everything to Braden but then Braden turns into an ice block at the end.

Braden and Addisons breakup is getting some action. We are finding out some of what went down. But allegedly. Mr. Braden doesn't say shit. But we still didn't know what happened. I guess that his single hard limit has to do with Addison.
Also, author- San you sneaky woman putting in 50 shades in the dialog between these two. I laughed at this part
Will pick up bk 3 when I'm no longer annoyed.

Follow Me Under was not as great as Follow Me Darkly.
I felt for Skye. She was going through an identity crisis. She was losing herself and disconnecting with her best friend Tessa. She had to deal with the fear of never measuring up to Addison and basically being the broke version of her. I think Skye was depressed and insecure and understandably did not react well to having her opinions discounted because she's Braden's girlfriend. The scene where Skye, Braden and Eugenie were having dinner and Skye felt invisible made me feel really bad for her. She's clearly going through it and it sucks that no one is seeing it.
Braden took two steps back for me. He constantly demanded trust but never gave Skye a reason to do so. He used "trust" as a way to manipulate Skye into not asking questions. When he said she was "just a photographer" I felt insulted on Skye's behalf.
Skye just didn't seem happy and when she finally broke down after having a shitty day, I felt like it was probably thereupeutic for her. She was definitely a lot happier at the beginning of her relationship with Braden.
I think Tessa was sent by Addison to ruin Skye's life. I just don't trust her.
It felt like Follow Me Under took place in an alternate universe. While Skye and Braden had great sexual chemistry, even that took a step back because of all the angst. Skye is on a path of self discovery that can’t just be “rubberstamped” on its way through the path! She has to figure out why she feels the things she feels and what it means in her relationship with Braeden. So much of her life is changing and she can’t keep up or figure out who she is anymore! Is anything she’s feeling real?? Is her relationship real?? Once again, Helen takes us an incredible journey through the recesses of the characters mind and soul and makes you feel everything they feel!! And I can’t wait for more of these two!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Braden Black is just full of secrets! So many things I never saw coming.
This story continues to unfold and as Skye learns more about herself I think she is also helping Braden learn more about himself as well. I'm glad that Skye is finding her voice but she is one of those characters you want to shake and tell her she is so worth it and be who she wants to be. Broody Braden shares so much in this book and I am here to listen! This story really gets going with Follow Me Under and I can't wait to see how it all plays out in the next book.

I am a little mad that I don't have book 3 right this second! This series is addicting. I devoured this and Follow Me Darkly on a quiet Saturday night when my kids were busy. I am dying to find out what secrets will be revealed in book 3 and can't wait to continue this steamy, page turning series.

Follow Me Under picks up where Follow Me Darkly leaves off. You really need to read the first before the second to know what’s going on. Braden and Skye’s story is sexy and spicy and will leave you begging for Follow Me Always.

*sigh* the story of Skye and Braden has lost a bit of its spark with this installment for me. The reason, I honestly don’t think they moved forward in their journey and quite possibly, maybe took a few steps back. I don’t quite know how to explain this without giving you plot points that would spoil the story for you, so this might be vague, *shrug* but here goes …
A relationship and/or person cannot be trusted if there’s no transparency. Allowing someone to believe you are being transparent while you are not, is a really bad thing to do. Someone in this journey is not being transparent and I’m losing faith in the story because of it. Both Braden and Skye behaved in a way that doesn’t really mesh with what I know to be true of the kind of relationship they are portraying. I paused a lot during my reading because I was frustrated with a lot of the story. I’m invested, of course, and I will see their journey thru till the end, but this installment took a drastic nosedive from the first one for me and I’m a little bit sad about that.
I’ve read quite a few books by Helen so I’m not too worried about the story leaving me with questions in the end, so there’s that to look forward to. I do appreciate the level of sexual intensity in the story was kept exceedingly high, which is a pattern set in the first book. So, yeah, this wasn’t my favorite book, but I haven’t lost complete faith in this journey!
