I've purchased the book + additional material (videos & spreadsheets) I while it seemed like a high price to pay at first, I am extremely satisfied with what I learnt.
In here you'll find I would dare to say, everything you need to know to start your investing journey. The book is well structured in a way that lets your read through it with ease but also use it as a reference for later.
It also includes tons of useful links to dig deeper on each topic.
Finally, I found the spreadsheets invaluable for my broker hunting & other related affairs.
I wish there'd be a physical edition of the book though.

A very needed resource of up-to-date information for everyone interested in knowing more about how to invest in Europe, along with tips, super-nuanced-hard-to-find-details, and very well-thought advices. It’s a book for beginner European investors that don’t know where to start, overwhelmed by the ocean of information available online , and confused due to 95% of online information being aimed for US citizens that does not necessarily translate for europeans. Amazing effort by Mario in putting all this info together in such a clear, concise way.

The book provides practical knowledge needed for investing, it improved my understanding of passive investing and filled the blanks I had after reading other materials. It is the only book I know that addresses European investors as opposed to the myriad of others that talk about USA, 401k, IRA etc.

A very good and to the point book! There is the theory part about active and passive investing, some bits about taxes, and there are practical real-life examples with various choices, too, – a good "practical guide" as the title says.
Language is easy to read, and the book has plenty of references, if you want to dive deeper. This stuff should be taught in schools. Especially for Europeans. :)
