She’s been waiting for a moment with him all her life. A lonely, bored housewife, Victoria is only nineteen and already filled with regrets over a path not taken. But, secretly, she’s been slipping away at night to engage in “sexual training” with her “male” and “female guardian.” Now, she’s ready for him, and she’s determined to be the best sex he’s ever had…
He’s been searching for all his life for a woman that wants nothing more than to submit to him. He wants nothing more than to have his ultra-masculinity matched by a woman who will submit to it. He’s amassed power, fortunate, and fame, but they are meaningless to him until he has her. The one he would die for, the one who cannot be conquered by anyone but him.
Are the two fated to make love to one another? The only thing we can know for sure is that this is not a game, and the consequences for failure are fatal…
Not really a story. Just scenes. The epilogue made no sense. Wasn't cohesive and went nowhere. Not worth the time to read. Good idea to start a true story.
Master, Yes by Hayden Ash is an erotic short story that I listened to on audio narrated by Jacinda Sinclair. This is a fast paced erotic story about a bored housewife Victoria who goes through sexual training behind her husband back to snag a billionaire who wants a submissive. Jacinda did a great job on the narration. I would recommend this book if you want a quick erotic story.
I am not sure what this book was supposed to portray, there did not seem to have a story line or plot, just a series of unrelated sexual encounters with no introduction or reason or sense of continuity. This book took me nine minutes to read and I felt it was nine minutes wasted.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and have voluntarily read and honestly reviewed this book..
Horrible read! Disjointed, confused, confusing and strange. It wasn't cohesive at all in any way! It was a bad caricature of erotica in barely 20 pages. If you're going to write extremely short erotica stories and expect people to pay for then is it too much to ask that they at least be better written and thought out than the worst fan fiction a person has ever read? Honestly, my husband calls these books porn for women, but I think even the worst, most pointless, plotless bad 70's porn has better plot than this and probably better writing too. I hate to leave bad reviews for books, and this is only my second 1 Star review I've ever had to leave before, but this was absolutely awful though. Not only that, I felt tricked or manipulated into reading it because it was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING LIKE THE DESCRIPTION! It was like the description in the way that an apple stem is an apple, sure an apple stem is PART of an apple, but it's not the whole apple, and it's certainly not the part of the apple that you bought the apple for. That's how this was, the book was kind of like the description, but the description honestly holds more information and details to the plot and story line than the actual book does. Anyway, let's get down to it, shall we?
I used the spoiler tag because in my description of the book I accidentally gave away the entire book, because there's no way to summarize a summary without giving away all of the important bits. Not that there were important bits here, but whatever.
The Good : It was only 21 pages, so it was less than 5 minutes wasted on reading this awful mess.
The Bad: It was like reading the middle of something. No context. No nothing. I even searched Amazon for the embarrassing and unfortunate series name of 'Unfaithful Wife Series' to see if I did in fact start reading in the middle of a series of shorts and wasn't aware of what happened in the first 3 books to these "characters", and I use that term just as loosely as the author did when she "developed" and "wrote" "about" them. It is not a connected series, and this short story was the work in its entirety. Since this was less book and more random sexual scenes involving the characters that's not exactly something cohesive. As a whole it was confused.
The Ugly: The sex scenes in this book were boring. I don't know why reviewers for BS feel the need to lie in their reviews, but if they're not lying and this is what they consider "sizzling hot erotica" or "pure sexual bliss", "hot and sexy" or "steamy hot bedroom fun" then I seriously worry about their sex lives, because the main character Victoria So if your idea of steamy hot in the bedroom pure sexual bliss is masturbating yourself onto a disinterested man for 3 minutes then my suggestion to you is to see a sex therapist because that's not pure sexual bliss, that's almost somnophelia at this point, he might as well have been asleep. Hell, I'd have preferred if it were somnophelia, at least then there would have been some point to the entire encounter. Seriously, it wasn't even imaginative or creative sex, it was just weird, boring, creepy, lame af sex. Furthermore if this is someones idea of something that is "Wonderfully written with decent plot and characters" then I'm sorry fellow BS reviewer, but you're either an absolute idiot or an absolutely pathological liar. This didn't have a decent plot, because it didn't have a plot at all. There were no decent characters because we know absolutely nothing about any of the characters. This was the most asinine thing I've ever read, and a very poor attempt at erotica because it wasn't even that erotic. There was nothing sexy about this book, even if your idea of a good time was it still wouldn't be erotic or sexy, it would still read as basic, boring and completely unoriginal, uninteresting and so badly thought out, planned and written as to be a bunch of papers a 20 year old frat guy wrote out then discarded and threw into the waste paper basket for his creative writing class because even he knew if he turned anything as bad as those shit papers in he would fail and his professor might just kick his ass out of the entire class.
I don't intend to kink shame anyone, I read some really eclectic stuff because I don't like cookie cutter romance type books, I like to read about people with unusual dynamics, relationships people would maybe consider strange and I like dark romance a lot but this is just so poorly done I can't in good conscience recommend it to anyone.
The concept is so confused that you're not sure what is going on, and the Gideon chapter seems to have been tacked onto the end in an pathetic attempt to make it fit into this unfaithful wives series that is probably all just as badly done as this. Nowhere in the book is it mentioned that she was until you get to the end and it's Gideons chapter. She's only 19, if she's been then she would have started this training well before the age of 18, years does not imply one year, it implies multiple years. Of course there was very little thought given to the writing, plot or concept of this work, so it's not surprising that this detail hasn't been recognized or thought of. There's a random mention of a father on a farm that she hates for no reason at all but the beginning says she's used to being treated like a princess made out of glass all her life, which implies a pampered and wealthy upbringing. Again, this is just horrible, horrible.
Even spending a dollar on it is too much for what you get in my opinion.
It felt really rushed, really confused by itself and as to what it was supposed to be or convey to the reader. It felt kind of hazy, like there was an idea for a story and then a couple of random scenes from the middle of the story were published as the whole story with no context or explanation of who the characters were, what they were doing, why they were doing it or what the point was to the whole thing.
I'm giving this a full star only because based on the description of the book it is something I would read if it was about what the description said, had a plot, pacing, characters with actual character and character building and an actual story line. The description implies that there is a story line and plot, but that's just simply not what you get. You get a few scattered scenes. BUT mostly because Amazon has a full star rating system where you can't leave half stars, so there's also that.
I received a free ARC of this book from the author via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving an HONEST review.
I have read multiple stories by this author now and they all follow the same general pattern. The main story is steamy. fairly well written, with an interesting but not overly developed plot. Similarly, the characters are not overly developed, but sufficient to support the story.
Then the author adds in an epilogue which throws in some odd twist of betrayal, discovery or something else that takes all the joy out of the steamy and leaves you with something angsty and almost a horror story.
If you like your erotica with unexpected endings, then give this a try. If you are just looking for a good time, you might want to look elsewhere.

I am reviewing the audio edition. This is maybe a little too short. I got from the description a little about what this was but by the story itself I would have never got much. I’m not sure if people actually got shot? All I know is what appears a fantasy kidnapping and then a confrontation with her husband. I really don’t know if it is even a good tease. I did enjoy the narrator. Melanie Hastings is someone I could enjoy a listening to but again this is so short I didn’t get a feel for the different emotions to be involved.
I’m totally speeches at the moment. This is short book that will definitely leave your mind spinning. I love that everyone is trying to please the billionaire not knowing if they will live all in the name of pleasure. Above all Victoria is in heaven getting pleasured and finally understanding what the billionaire really wants and fulfilling his desires.

a super short, erotic tale with no real story line I could follow, just a lot of lust and sex and even that wasn't as climactic as it could have been - lol. No real lead up and leaves me with more questions than answers as to who these characters are and what they really want.
This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review. *this review is based on the audio version of this read

Not sure if I missed something in not reading the previous books in the series. This one was short and didn't seem like it had much of a plot. Not really erotic, just a few explicit sex scenes. Guess I'm glad it was a short read.
