Tea time prophesies, accidental insta-love, and dealing with one’s demons. Eden: Nana once told me, “Never get in bed with the devil.” I assumed she meant to stay away from bad men. If anyone got hurt because I didn’t listen to The Knowing, I’d never, ever forgive myself. After a tipsy encounter with a guy who was hotter than Hades itself, I thought I’d found the one. I’d barely survived my first broken heart. Not even the fires of Hell would fuse it back together if it shattered a second time. Finding out his real name was like a bucket of cold water on the flames of my fascination. The thing that scared me the most? My Nana’s never been wrong before.
Eric: I’d never been a superstitious person. But after what Eden told me, I could understand why she was afraid. I did everything in my power to help her trust me. The fire between us was too powerful to be denied. Yet if I pushed too hard, I might become the evil man she’d been warned about.

So far I have only read short books by Hayley Travis so this one I was a little unsure what to expect and I was pleasantly surprised and loved the story of these two.
Eden is shy, quiet and insecure never believing that someone like Eric would possibly want her despite the instant attraction. Eric sees the woman beneath and what she could become and is more determined to push her past what she is comfortable with and introduce her to another side of herself. Eric wants this woman as his and is going to show her what love really means. She is unlike any other woman he has met and his money means nothing to her, can he get the shy girl to realise that she can have what she wants and claim him as hers.
If you like a book with great chemistry and an alpha possessive male and a shy girl realising her true potential then snap this book up now I honestly loved how the characters developed and how Eden came to truly see her worth. 4.5* Read. I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced copy of this book.
I loved this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable. There were a lot of feels! The characters were interesting and relatable. I've decided that Eric needs to be my new book boyfriend!
Eden is getting over a relationship where she thought she had found the one, but instead, she had found a major jerk. While out with her friend she meets a hot guy that lights her up in more than one way. Eden knows that it's fast, but she feels so happy and connected to him. When she finds out his real name and it's meaning she freaks out. Her Nana had told her to "Never get in bed with the devil" and her new guy may just be the one she was warned about.
Eric is thrilled when he meets a beautiful sweet woman named Eden. He feels drawn to her and knows that she is his "one". When she tells Eric about what her Nana said, he understood her being afraid, but he didn't want to give up on them. Their attraction and feelings were so strong and when they were together they practically combusted. Now if only Eric can find a way to set Eden's mind to rest so that they can be together.
I loved so much about this story. The way they met and were instantly drawn to each other, the way he encourages her to be her best self, and so many more examples that if I list them all this will be a book! Eric was awesome! He was so understanding and sweet but also very alpha and take charge. Eden annoyed me a few times because I felt she wasn't being fair to Eric. I loved Nana and the whole "Whispers don't count as cursin'". I loved their happy ever after. I definitely recommend reading this book!

I must admit that before I read this story I had some assumptions based on the cover and the blurb I read on Amazon. I actually thought this was a paranormal story, it had all the earmarks of a story about some sort of paranormal creature. I was thinking shifter or vampire, however, I was wrong and I'm actually glad that I was. I think if this had been a paranormal story it would have taken away from the story. Normally when I see reviews that say "The story was charming" or "This book was so sweet" I've never quite understood how a book can be sweet or charming until I read this story. I have to admit that this was a charming read it was different than I expected but different in the best possible way. I enjoyed Eden, and Eric they were characters that were finding out what they wanted and I got to experience them have insecurities, and question what was right in front of them. I enjoyed this story and would recommend this read to anyone who just wants a light-hearted read. There were a few errors I saw and because of that I would give this book a 4-star rating, but other than that the characters were engaging and the pace was perfect for this read. I would definitely read another of this authors' books.
I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Eden and Eric. They meet at a club and there is an instant attraction. Unfortunately Eden's Grandma had a tendency to rattle of weird tidbits to everyone in her family. Eden got one about falling into bed with the devil. Do after an amazing night together, she finds out his real name and freaks. They try to work around it but it still freaks her out. A great HEA in the end.
An entertaining, fast pace, and intriguing romance! It is well-developed, well written, engaging, relatable, and passionate with amazing characters; the chemistry between them is instant and off the charts! Definitely recommended!

The author has given us characters we can care about. Eden is an insecure, quiet woman that goes to a Club with her girl friend. While there, she meets Eric and they have instant attraction. Eric knows she is the one for him and makes it his mission to help Eden become the woman she was meant to be.

Eric and Eden's story is well written and had me smiling as I read. I liked Nana's "Whispers don't count as cursin’," she said with a wink. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
It was a sweet instalove romance. Eric was just too wonderful and Eden was shy, yet sassy. They had to overcome obstacles with her grandmother's prophesies, but they get their happily ever after. Nice book!
