This is my favourite holiday book so far, the characters I loved and there was no way that I wasn’t reading this in one sitting. I could not help but love all the main characters, the banter and the hint of how they had all grown up together. Honestly you could not go wrong giving this book a try. I am very happily reviewing an ARC of this book.
Juniper Ivy Mullen or known to most by the name of Juni (Loved the name BTW) has made some mistakes in her life but her last relationship tops the lot, after discovering him in bed with another woman she takes her revenge out on his car and finds herself possibly out of a job and with a criminal record, but things are looking up when instead of facing criminal charges she is looking at eight hours community service dressed as an elf. Especially when she finds out that Santa is none other than her brothers best friend the hunky Fireman and current captain of the fire service Dash, her crush on him has been buried for years but things are getting up close and personal in a way she never thought they could be but can she really risk her brothers and Dash’s lifelong friendship for her own growing love for the sexy fireman?
Dash finally has the chance that he has been waiting for for the past ten years. Juni is single and he can’t help but let her know he wants her but leaving the ball in her court after they share a steamy encounter. The Mullen and Bane Family have been friends for years and Sage has been his best friend since they were children but Juni is the woman he has always wanted and if he doesn’t act now he could lose his chance forever. Can he have the girl and salvage his lifelong friendship?
Seriously loved everything about this book from the laugh out loud moments, to the sassy comments and what feels like a real family. Fantastic holiday read and I am hoping and hoping that Sage and Karine get their own story as there is definitely more going on there than meets the page. Highly recommended.

I laugh out loud with this story. Specially with Karine, who is Juniper's best friend. This is the story of Juniper and Dash. Juni is a kindergarten teacher. Loved her job and she will do everything possible to maintain it. But an outburst of anger will put it in danger. And it is the beginning of a chain of events that will make you die of laughter. Also with their family and neighbors, which are Dash family.
Dash is Juniper's brother's best friend, Sage. A hot and sexy fireman who has been in love with Juni without her knowing. Everything changes when they meet in Thanksgiving dinner.
I had a lot of fun with this holiday romance. It's a romantic comedy with hot, sexy moments and a lot of laugh. I leave one star less for two reasons. One is or some phrase hard to understand and two, for not fully understanding Sage's attitude towards Juni. I found it a bit exaggerated but the book is worth reading.
I can't wait to read the story of Karine and Sage. That girl is a big deal! Coming of Sage will be release in January 31st.

Brandon se ganó cada centímetro de la sorpresa fálica en su auto,
pero eso no significa que al destino le importe.
Verás, el destino y yo hemos estado luchando por años. Sin embargo, las cosas están mejorando.
Logré un descanso y el servicio comunitario es mi único castigo.

Mí humilde opinión:
🎄 Supuestamente era estilo comedia romántica pero no me divertían TANTO las situaciones vergonzosas de Juni. La historia tenía esa vibra navideña y año nuevo que me gusta, la calidez de una familia unida y numerosa y amigos, sin embargo, el romance no fue emocionante exactamente, aunque era uno de mís temas favoritos es el de amigos a amantes.
Dash me gustaba, sobretodo porque fue honesto con Juni sobre sus sentimientos y le dio a escoger si quería o no arriesgarse para estar juntos. Qué hace ella? Se siente culpable, duda con miedo a arruinar la amistad entre él y su hermano Sage y de paso se enoje con ella, normal pero de todas formas y a pensar de sus miedos tiene sexo con Dash, luego miente a su hermano en la cara, involucrando a su amiga que no tiene nada que ver y niega a Dash como su novio. No podía creer que fuera tan infantil e inmadura para ser una mujer adulta! Juni me hacía enfadar. En cuanto a la pareja, hubo momentos sexys y los dos parecían preocuparse por el otro pero no logré que me interesaran. No lo sentí con ellos.
Karine, la amiga de Juni, era tremenda, me reí con sus ocurrencias, ella sí era un personaje divertido. En cambio detesté a Sage, el hermano de Juni, era un idiota con todas las letras, no me gustaba como trataba a su hermana. Y el ex de Juni era una porquería, no me podía entrar en la cabeza que al final perdonara a tal psicópata.
No fue un libro navideño de mis favoritos, si tuvo partes interesantes para mantenerme leyendo pero también estaban las exageradas y otras que eran un NO para mí.🎄

5 Stars for HAHAHA HOHOHOHOHOHO HAHAHAHAHAHA! Is that a great reason for five stars or WHAT?! (Rating breakdown below.)
THE QUICKIE (For those who think I talk too much and want the TL;DR version):
I rarely find a Christmas themed novel I love (yet somehow all those Netflix and Hallmark movies manage to warm my heart--binge watch, much?), but this book by KB Cinder is one I could read any time of the year! Poor Juni's crazy Christmas cracked me up, and I couldn't stop laughing--except maybe when she got it on with Dash, 'cause laughing definitely isn't appropriate for those sexy scenes! I'll be rereading this one every Christmas for sure!
MAIN CHARACTERS: 5/5
OMG, did I luuuurve my Juni! Dash got on my nerves now and then just 'cause I thought he could have been a little more outgoing in his attempts to woo our FANTASTIC lady, but Juni's awesomeness made up for it. Plus, he was damn sexy, which is always a go for me!
SIDE CHARACTERS: 5/5
It's rare that I see a book with both great main characters and great side characters--for some reason it seems like it's either one or the other. The side characters in this book were just as fab as Juni, and maybe better than dash! Her mom and Pops, Karine, Sage, and--oh, God, I am laughing just thinking about!--BABCIA! I really hope there is a Karine and Sage book soon!
I also liked Brandon. Well, I didn't LIKE him, but I liked his character. There is actually a LOT of sexual harassment between male teachers and administrators and female teachers in the teaching world--at least in the district I taught in. I turned a guy in for harassing someone (showing up at their door wanting them to go to a swing party!), and the administration did NOTHING. Later, he was caught having sex with senior high school girls. It totally sucked, and I like that this problem was pointed out here.
PLOT: 4.5/5
The plot was hilarious! I would have liked for the Christmas party to have happened a little earlier in the book since that's what was highlighted in the blurb and it got me excited for Dash as Santa and Juni as an elf, but the spew-your-drink humor of all the scenes made up for any disappointment!
WRITING: 4.5/5
The writing was fantastic! The flow was awesome, and it was well put together. There were a few grammar things that bothered me, but you know I get my former English teacher going on and twitch over the smallest things. (Have I ever given someone a perfect score in this area? I REALLY need to learn to grammarchill. And yes, that is a new word, presented to you by me. Merriam-Webster can suck my stuffed llama collection.)
SEXINESS: 5/5
The sex scenes were awesome, and Dash was a damn hot firefighter. Who doesn't luuurve that?

Dashing Through the No is the first book I have read from this author. I found it entertaining and am looking forward to checking out her other books. I would give this a 4.5 and recommend if you like quick, crazy reads.

I can’t tell you how much I laughed my ass off at this book.
KB Cinder has a way with words and scenarios that brings out the greatest humor in them. I’ve cackled insanely through this entire novel - and it’s nearly 2am. My incessant giggles have woken my 7-year-old daughter once, and my husband twice.
I’ve NEVER read another novel filled with such genuinely created humor.
10/10 for KB Cinder!

Good holiday story
Funny and fun, watching Dash and Juni navigate getting from frenemies to love.
The supporting cast of family and friends is good too.

If you're looking for a perfectly written romcom to steam up your glasses while simultaneously cracking you the hell up, you are in the right place! This new holiday themed release by KB Cinder had me drawn in from page one. Her descriptive play on words, irreverent R rated, quirky sense of humor and the perfect cast of crazy, colorful characters were the topping on the ' brother's hot and sexy friend' cake of a book. For me, the difference between a so-so romcom and a great one can be make or break, but this one had it all... witty, LOL goodness, spicy as sin with some VERY, entertaining story lines, all made Dash and Juni's Christmas tale a must read novella for me.
Dash (catchy, huh?) and Juni, friends forever, 'may' have been secretly noticing how good the other has been looking lately! Of course, her brother is a natural born alpha caveman which could be a deterent if he wasn't so busy with the never ending supply of 'admirers'...but...you'll have to read all the best parts yourself to find out how this story goes! Juni is hmmm..such a colorful character but relatable.
She’s everything I want to be..at least for a day.
Sage is her very protective, overbearing, manwhore brother. He’s sexy and he’s knows it. 🙄

Both of their families are so hilarious!

If there is one romcom Christmas book you need to read this year, stop looking this one is it. KB Cinder brings you a hot mess name Juni. She is loads of fun and is my soul sister. She has an unfiltered mouth that gets her in trouble, finally a character that has the same problem I do. Dash the everloving firefighter, that you just want to lick and claim for yourself, brings the heat in the book. I’m in love with him and I’m not ashamed. Mine! I love Cinder’s books, but by far this is my favorite one. She brings so many laugh out loud moments, I may have spit on myself while I was trying to enjoy my coffee. Her main characters were not only the stars in this book. The supporting characters were a hoot. You not only got to know Dash and Juni, but you also got to know their best friends and their families. I loved the interaction between them all. So get ready to download this book the day it releases, I promise you it will bring you fits of giggles, chuckles, and tingles.

Juni's best friend and roommate is always there to lend a spoon to stir the pot. Karine is a adult toy entrepreneur with a big mouth on a short frame(you will LOVE her). This was truly such a fun read!!! It was impossible to put down. Tons of quick comebacks and major burns. The dynamic between all the characters is filled with so much love and humor. Even Juni's grandmother joins in on the fun, once they get her demons tipsy!!! Read this story, you wont be sorry!!!

Dashing through the No by KB Cinder. OMG! This book was AWESOME!!! I loved the plot, the backstory, the characters, the setting, and the snarky humor. I went ahead and started stalking the author in hopes I can find out if and when Sage will get his story (I don’t want to miss that one). I was hoping for more of Dash’s POV but overall is was fine with just Juni’s POV (she is so relateable) I absolutely fell in love with her and her quirks. This is a one click must if you want a holiday romance with snark, escapades, nutty characters and a family that sticks together when you need them the most. This is the cutest story with hilarious characters along with a sweet hot romance. Juni gets cheated on by the boyfriend Brandon so she gets revenge by keying his car which lands her into community service as a elf at the firehouse Christmas Party. Her brothers best friend Dash is the Fire Captain and also Santa. Dash is a real hunk who has had his eye on Juni for a while and now that she is single Dash is looking pretty good the only problem is her brother. Loved this book and the characters were just too funny even the dog.

I LOVED This Christmas Story!!! This was an awesome book that I really enjoyed. The story and characters grabbed me from the beginning and I couldn't stop reading. I loved the characters and watching them grow together, they were well written and went well together. I found this book amazing with great word building making me feel apart of the story and watching it unfold in front of me. A definite must read for any fan and I can't wait to read more from this author!!!

Dashing Through the No is a must-read holiday romance. This book will keep you laughing at Juni's hijinks throughout the story. The characters are well developed, somewhat quirky, and relatable. The storyline is delightful and well written, with humour, families that have your back, chemistry, and wonderful romance.
I cannot wait to read more books by this author.

It has been a super funny romantic comedy.
What I could laugh with the madness of Karine and the crazy relationships of Juni's family. Bacdica is also an epic grandmother.
Juni and Dash are perfect and although Juni's cowardice exasperated his grace to face certain situations made me forget that nonsense.
I cannot understand Sage's exaggerated behavior so I hope that in his book with Karine we will discover what is happening to hi

This book was laugh out loud funny! I seriously didn’t want to put the book down and was sad when it was over. I did read this series out of order, I read Coming of Sage first but didn’t matter since they are connected but stand alone books. First, I love Juniper and Karine’s friendship, they are girls I would love to be friends with! Second, I think Dash and his calmness was a perfect balance for Juni and all her craziness. Third, I loved this series and hope there is more to come.

Holy wow... I did not know what to expect from this book since this is a totally new author to me but after the first chapter I was hooked!
I LOVED Juniper and Dash’s story so much! It had me swooning and laughing at every page turn, eating up the words to find out what happened next. I am now going to make my way through the rest of KB’s books until the next one in this series comes out. I am so glad to have found a new author to binge read.

This book was an enjoyable read. It had me hooked from the start and I couldn’t put it down. It was a real page turner. It is a romantic comedy that had me laughing out loud. It had some hot and steamy scenes too. It is a brothers best friend romance and Christmas romance combined that finishes with a lovely HEA.

This is my first book from this author and I will be checking out more in the future this was a really good sweet holiday read it had a good interesting plot with enough going on to pull me in and hold my attention right until the very end. I enjoyed getting to know Juniper and Dash these two had me laughing out loud at times.

A holiday twist to getting involved with your brother's best friend. Reading Juni's story is just plain fun. This book is sure to provide the sweet comic relief that one needs during the crazy, busy holidays. I loved it! Juni is such a character, her life choices never seem to the right ones. Enjoy!

This was such a great Christmas love story! Juni & Dash were so absolutely perfect for each other!! I loved how he could annoy her and flirt with her at the same time. It was so endearing. I loved all the secondary characters, especially Karine & Sage (I'm seriously going to need them to get a book!)!!

If you want a book that will have you laughing out loud and leave you giggling and smiling like a Cheshire Cat then this is the book for you.
The chemistry is electric and the banter is witty and flows naturally and once you add in the secondary characters you get the perfect rom com.

June 27, 2021This was a nice story about Juni and Dash. I really wanted to read Rini and Sage's story next, but the series jumps to book 4, skipping books 2 and 3. I had to search to figure out why. The author is re-working the books. I wish I had known before I read this, as a novel released in 2019, I assumed the next book would already be available.
