Drugs capable of creating shared hallucinations. A carnival using twisted rituals to create human exhibits. Authoritarians made of glass who hunt people for their vocal frequency crimes. A father searching his nightmares for his lost son.
These are a few of the tales in Machines and Fever Dreams. Travel a surreal landscape of paranoia, terror, and beauty. Immerse yourself in worlds where delusion dictates reality, science bleeds into sorcery, and the stakes are high but the rules are deranged.
Wow. Wow, wow, wow. This collection of stories is thought-provoking, gripping, bold. Every single one was just stunning. "Frequency" & "Gone" are both haunting me now, though for different reasons. "Time" was masterful, juxtaposing the arrogance of youth with the maturity in a biting way. This was an excellent collection & I'm looking forward to more from this author.
