I picked this book up at Hebrews Coffee Shop on our way through a circle tour of Lake Michigan after meeting Paula and getting coffee. It took me a while to pick it up and start reading but once I did I was fascinated. I’ve always had it in my mind that our law enforcement officers face horrific experiences and though they are not always portrayed as making the right choices I have believed that they for the most part are trying to protect and defend to the best of their ability. I know there are a few bad apples but I also know the media causes so much damage in trying to get ratings and dramatize everything. Hearing this officer’s personal experience has opened my eyes and also confirmed my stance. I am grateful for his heart to share his story and his obedience to God’s call.
On a technical note, quite a few grammatical errors and editing mistakes but I can read past that knowing this isn’t written by a professional writer but is a personal testimony.

Great book

Well written and words we all need to hear, Christian or not. In today's time we all need to know there is a higher power that holds us in his hands and loves us. Listen. Thank you for sharing your story.
