Ken Berry played for four major league teams from 1965-1975, the Chicago White Sox, California Angels, Milwaukee Brewers, and Cleveland Indians. He won the Gold Glove award as a center fielder for the White Sox in 1970 and Angels in 1972 and was a member of the 1967 All-Star Team.
Ken finished his eleven-year career with a fielding percentage of .989. Nicknamed "The Bandit", he was known for his ability to rob hitters of a home run.
Ken recently finished a twenty-six year career as a minor league coach, manager and roving instructor working with hitters, out-fielders and base runners.
He loves fishing and listening to Rock & Roll music. Ken and his wife Aleda live in Topeka, Kansas.
Very nice little story. Slightly similar to Ken Grimwoods "Replay" but doesn't approach that level. Personally I can very much relate to the book being an old (although certainly not as good) baseball player who continues to lose more of my skills year by year. Enjoyable read.
