Shawn is an older baseball player. He is doing a photo shoot and is completely uncomfortable with the attention and the models but when Holly the photographer enters the picture he is smitten. She is way younger though and he is afraid he is not good enough for her. Holly adores him though and she is not going to lose him.
No virgins here, no cheating, lovely epilogue with hero's retirement and their 2 kids!

Loved this super sweet short baseball romance! I absolutely adored the idea that the handsome pro ball player had personal morals and values he stuck to and he was attracted to a "regular" girl, gives the average reader hope. 💜💙
Hope always knows how to give us exactly the right story and the right time, this was a great escape on a warm spring afternoon.

Good
This was a really enjoyable story. Shawn is head over heels for Holly the moment he meets her. She is different from all the other women in the room and he needs to get to know her. These two were really sweet. It was nice to read about a male hero who had insecurities. Shawn was much older than Holly and he worried about losing her to someone younger. Holly was a sweet woman who adored her man. These two made a great couple.

Completely safe. No ow/om drama. A teammate of H’s is a bit of a jerk. He causes a bit of issues in a roundabout way. Both were not virgins and their pasts weren’t really mentioned. H has been celibate for a long time though. No abuse.

"I love you so much that I can’t stand the thought of losing you."
This is my favorite of the first 3 books in the Player Loves Curves series. The H was all in from the beginning, the h needed a little convincing. A tiny misunderstanding causes them to almost end it but as always, it was cleared up quickly.
-even playing field in this one, neither were virgins. No details of h's past and H has been celibate for a long time
-no cheating or abuse
-no real OM/OW drama
-epilogue 5 years
Someone needs to teach the MW Carter a lesson on how to be a real man and not a giant herpes sore. If the stories continue on the way they have been, I can't wait to see what the next one is.

Finding Home is the second book in this series and is a sweet and steamy sports romance. This fast paced sports romance ticks all the boxes, hot baseball player check, all consuming instant love check and a story that will steal your heart check. Shawn and Holly’s story is a quick read but one that fills your heart with love.

Cute, short, baseball romance. Loved that despite Shawn being a major leaguer, he is still so down to earth. Holly is a great heroine and they fit so well together is quickly. Ends with a HEA and not one, but two epilogues!!!

Holly is interning and working for famed photographer, Troy Gunther, and she is the youngest, also. So to say she does the grunt work being the curvy girl while the other two are usually photoshoot ready just in case the celeb notices them. Today is no exception. They had a photoshoot outside and now that Shawn Connon the third baseman for, the Tennessee Mavericks. He is one of, the hottest players on the team. He’s older than most of the other guys, yet there’s just something about him. Holly, can’t take her eyes off the field, just waiting to see him.
She does feel a little bitter toward her co-interns. They look all clean, fresh, and makeup ready. Where she is hot, sweaty, and rumpled from moving all the heavy and awkward equipment by herself. She can’t help comparing her T-shirt, jeans, and sneakers to the other two. She must have missed the memo on dressing up because they are all decked out in skirts with full hair and makeup. Guess they weren’t too worried about doing their jobs today.
All of her daydreaming and imagination couldn’t have prepared her for that very moment. He’s so big he has to duck his head and turn sideways when he comes through the doorway. Today is a shoot for the sexiest bachelor edition of, Upscale magazine. The only reason, Shawn is there is because his agent forced him. Yeah, it’s the sexiest bachelor, but also all the money goes to a, Feed the Children charity so he knows he would be an ass to turn it down.
The whole nonsense has him on edge and it's messing with his game. He has never had so many women fall all over him and themselves. He’s had plenty of attention from females, he’s just grown tired of the type of, women his fame and reputation attract. However, at their meet-cute, she saves a guy from pawing women on set. She gets her boss to follow her concept of, what will make the client happy, and this VIP model. See what happens after the photoshoot. And will the age gap be too much for them?
This is a sweet book. This couple like sexy coupling in the bedroom, and well everywhere. You will be happy to know, Carter’s rep has not gotten any better.

Brilliant loved this short story. Shawn turns up for a photo shoot he doesn’t like the direction it was taking and Holly agrees with him and looks for a different style for his most sexiest bachelor photo. Holly steps in straight away and agrees a different look for Shawn and he looks pleased with what she comes up with and at the end he asks her out for coffee. Shawn and Holly are never far apart and when he is away she stays at his as per his request so he knows she is safe. Carter one a Shawn’s team mates talks to Holly about a surprise birthday the6 are throwing for him and will she get him there for the team. Shawn doesn’t like Carter talking to Holly and when he asks her about it he knows Holly is lying he wonders if she has had enough of him. Holly can’t tell Shawn the truth but it is making them both miserable the night of the party Holly ends up telling Shawn now just to look surprised when he walks in.

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
Finding home is book two in the ‘’player loves curves’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Baseball player, Shawn is on a photo-shoot he doesn’t want to be on. Holly is a photographer/photographers assistant. As soon as Holly and Shawn meet the connection is instant.
The chemistry between Shawn and Holly is clear to see and I liked them together. I thought that they made a cute couple.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.

Shawn is an older baseball player who meets Holly, a much younger intern photographer.
they meet on a photo shoot and their meeting is actually cute and good start. but then it just turned.
Shawn is posseive, controlling and the time he is angry because he jumped to conclusions and uses Holly is just gross.
did not like this MMC.
thankfully, there are no virgins.
but we did jump to the boyfriend girlfriend conversation after like 12 hours after shawn "needs to stake his claim."
the first epilogue was great.
the second wasn't necessary, and of course, there is a shawn junior and then just a normal girls name.
I'm not sure why Hope Ford is obsessed with literally every MMC she writes has a son who is named after them... so bizarre.

A little drama with another player who ribs Shawn cause he’s older (10 years) and Holly is younger. Loved how possessive Shawn was. Holly was perfect for him, she took his feelings and possessiveness in stride. She did not get all mad at him. She showed concern for his feelings. I like how Shawn did not fight with Carter, the jerk team mate, at his surprise party. He let Holly take him home. Cute epilogue with 2 kids and retirement for Shawn.

♡ This novella was another sweet comfort read and an age-gap romance.
♡ I thought it was unique how the hero and heroine met at a photoshoot with her being the photographer.
I honestly thought that when Carter was messing with her he was lying about it even being the hero's birthday at all and was surprised that it actually ended up being his birthday and that there was a real party to attend! lol
I was anticipating that the heroine from the first book would appear in this book as well but sadly that didn't happen 🥺

Holly and Shawn’s story was wonderful. Holly (a photographer) is instantly drawn to Shawn (a baseball player) when they meet. Likewise, Shawn falls hard for Holly, who’s different and special from all the other women he meets. Shawn’s certain she’s it for me as she awakens all his protective-alpha instincts, but worries he won’t be enough because of their age difference. A meddling teammate doesn’t help things either. Holly and Shawn certainly have a deep connection and steamy romance. I adored the bittersweet ending. This was an over too soon but an enjoyable story.

What a heart felt, wonderfully written unexpected love story. I was hoping he would punch Carter, but, maybe in the next book. Lol!! Lack of total honesty, even with the stupid sh*t, especially if they know you’re lying, can do some serious damage. But, the sweet HEA was so worth it!! Loved reading this book!!

When the writer knows what they are talking about, an honest review is simple. The writing pulls at your heart...makes you want to fight for love, and will make you not want to put the book down!!! I cant get enough of the characters. The emotion that you can feel through each page. Love that makes your heart want to...re-read...over & over. This is an easy enjoyable read !

Another great love story

Shawn and Holly meet when he's doing a photoshoot where the director wants a bunch of half naked models ( which Shawn doesn't want) and Holly suggests a different approach and from there its all instant connection that neither one of them can resist
