Dragon eggs have been stolen, but Sophia isn’t deterred.
She will get them back and make the thieves suffer.
Once she figures out where to look for them…
The stakes are higher than ever as Sophia is sent on mission after mission to help the Dragon Elite, do Subner’s bidding and also save those at the Gullington who are still cursed.
Quiet might be better, but the housekeeper for the Castle is still sick.
Sophia won’t stop until she finds a cure for Ainsley.
But to save the eggs, the housekeeper and her friends it’s going to take harnessing the strongest power in the world. And the most allusive.

This book in the series was a definite slow burn and riddled with side plots. It took me a bit longer to finish it because of these reasons but the ending redeemed everything. You don't want to skip this book by any means because there are a few major events. It just isn't filled with the normal dialogue like in the other books.
Well what can I say. The dragons are hatching but they aren't all good. The killer bakers are cracking me up. I love them. The villain may not be completely bad this time. Plus love is in the air, one couple is forming, one getting married and one set of broken hearts. These books are so well written that you just get sucked in. So much happens that you can't list them all. Lots of new creatures in this one like always and some fantastic banter and jokes.

More good fun LIGHT fantasy from the "Brill Building" of lit.
Michael Anderley has apparently put together an accomplished team of writers, editors, proof readers, etcetera, for quick publishing stories.they are fun and entertaining in the grand tradition of the pulp novel (The Shadow, Mandrake the Magician, The Lone Ranger, even Sherlock Holmes) written quickly, somewhat formulaic, but always reliably fun and properly edited. Available "for free" on Amazon Prime and in such volume as to allow a steady stream of entertainment to the Kindle that at least one book remains on loan at most times. Good books entertain, great books inspire. Few of the stories from this group are deeply moving or life changing, I can't think of any at the moment.
This particular series is sufficiently tied to pop culture, I believe, will limit its shelf life. I thoroughly enjoy these stories, but doubt that they will be relevant to my grand children in fifteen or twenty years. The limited shelf life makes these books perfect for the fast publishing / quick reading Kindle entertainment experience. Four Star rating (3.5) for being well edited, and fun. Points off for the tiny increments that each story progressed, the formula for these books, take a simple story arc and use enough filler to stretch it out for a few years of employment. There are few polished phrases or memorable quotes to ponder, and that's o.k., there are other books for those needs.
Sarah, the romantic relationships that have developed in this episode are great. More quarantine reference would not be amiss, and if you want to delve into the fine FINE line between the persistent admirer and the creepy stalker that would be even better. There are tons of real life love stories with guys who refused to take no for an answer, (Michele Obama, Hillary Clinton, my own grandmother) but far more scary stories of women who were pushed into uncomfortable relationships with co-workers, neighbors, landlords, employees, store clerks.... Much more complicated is the line between seduction and coercion. As a current construction laborer on the Trans Alaska Pipeline (flame resistant coveralls) and a former funeral director (clothes horse) I envy your Scotsman his capacity for wearing a great Inverness coat, fine hats etc.
Michael, it seems noteworthy that you've enjoyed significant funding through Kindle for someone who touts Apple products. #Kindle Keyboard
Of course, it's the continuing story of Sophia's life in the Dragon Elite, but I think this is the story where she finally grows up fully.
She faces her fears, and decides that she won't be ruled by it any more. This is the point where, I think, everything will change, as she was told it will, and I'm looking forwards to seeing whether she can sort out Hiker and Ainsley, and if she will be able to help Trin Currante, and the men who follow her, to become more than they are right now.
I also loved this book, because Sophia and Liv got to team up - twice!
Between their wonderful humour together, and me cracking up at almost everything that Lunis said, this story brightened up my time with it.
Funnily enough, on reading Sarah's Authors Notes, and her comments on her experiences at the beginnings of Covid and the Lockdowns, it brought me back to that time - and I wholeheartedly agree with her, when she mentioned about pushing herself to finish this book, as she knew that her readers would be seriously needing this, as a great distraction!
As an avid reader myself, I was totally glad of my many books during that time. But, because, for the last 25 years, my life has been spent in my own version of Lockdown, I think that I, and my Internet friends in the same position as I, were actually better prepared than most, for what we faced over that two year period.
Don't get me wrong. It wasn't easy, what with the things we had to do to keep ourselves safe, but having lived lives of relative isolation for so long, we were much better prepared than most - & my book collection is so much more adaptable than most, and that kept me sane, thankfully!
I just wish that I'd come across these books, then, though!
So, now that I've finished book four, I'm going straight on to read book five of this fun series: Rectify Justice, and I'm hoping that it'll be just as much fun as all the previous books have been!
This series is so great that after reading the first book and discovering that there was a whole 12 book series about S. Beaufont's older sister, I went back and all of it, and then returned to this great series. I love the new developments, and I can't wait for more! I recommend this series unreservedly. Whether you check out the L. Beaufont series first is up to you, but you really should read both. And then read ALL other books and series Oriceran related. They are all awesome.
I would also once again like to thank the publishing company LMBPN for keeping all these wonderful books available on Kindle Unlimited. I am a disabled ex-teacher with no income, and could never afford to read all the books without the unlimited subscription. Also, to Michael Anderle, I think you should "invest" in the very best of whatever technology helps you get ALL this work done! Whether it's keyboards, or tablets, or laptops, or hybrids, or super--mega doesn't come out till next year super smart phones... Get it all! It's a worthwhile investment if it helps you get things done more easily, or quickly, or even if it just makes all that time spent more fun! All the best to all of you, and I can't wait till June for more Sophia, and Lunis, and... Well... Let's just say everyone's interactions with each other. 😉
The truth is out about Quiet and the others have to figure out how to treat him so the Castle will behave. Life in the Gullington is starting to return back to normal. Sophia is worried about the stolen eggs and her new relationship with Wilder. And who is Trin Currante?
Things started out really tense around the castle but I loved watching the dynamics changing there. Also with other institutions in the series. I love seeing how Fairy Godmother’s are trained. And I love the ending.
Footnote: 1) Why didn’t Sophia just knock when she found the Library’s door locked?
2) I must have had a really bad memory all my life because I’ve watched a lot of these movies and shows and can’t begin to quote them like characters in books can. Even if I’ve watched it more than once.
3) It bugs me when author’s leave off an important word or phrase that changes or confuses the whole sentence. It throws off the reader who has to go back and reread it to understand what’s happened. (i.e.: “The terrier “who” was actually an ancient chimera, transformed and took up a…”) This probably bugs me more since I’m a writer myself and have to watch for these things.
Fave scenes: the new dragon, Cupid’s valet service, Sophia & Evan breaking into Medford research and helping the author.
First, I LOVED this book!!!!! I've read several of Sarah Noffke's books and think she is a fabulous author. She has a pretty awesome imagination or something, I don't know...all I know is, she writes great books. The characters are well thought out and the stories are interesting.
Now for the not-so-good news. There were quite a few errors in this book. I have never seen so many errors in any of her other books. I'm a retired teacher and just tend to notice these things. Lots of words used incorrectly, words that were obviously replaced because the old word was still there. There was also one sentence that made absolutely no sense to me. I tried figuring out which words were supposed to be there, and which weren't, but I couldn't do it - nothing made sense. Like I said, I'm retired, disabled and forced out of the classroom and profession I loved, so.....if you need help combing for errors, let me know. I am pretty good at finding things and have plenty of time to do it. deansinmae@gmail.com
Another amazing instalment in a series that gets better and better with each book. The humour, words of wisdom and truly appealing characters would keep you entertained even if the brilliant plot wasn’t as excellent as it is. Stolen dragon eggs still need to be found, enemies plans have to be discovered, Ainsley needs a cure for her curse, Hiker has to become accustomed to his new power and all the Dragon Elite have to adjust to knowing Quiet’s role in their lives. Pressures of a hidden romance, tasks to solve from Subnar and Hiker, revelations, mysteries and doubts make Sophia’s life complicated. I love this story, it has humour, romance, battles, struggles, growth and intrigue. Appearances by Liv, Bermuda and Plato add to the story and I love how Rudolf can be so stupid and yet brilliant at the same time. The adventures are great and I can not wait to see what happens next.
Sarah has managed to put in some hilarious references, lightening up a serious situation with her particular sense of humour. There are some great Easter Eggs, too! Don’t worry - I won’t say what they are.
Sophia has a lot to process, some growing to do, and (of course!) mysteries only hinted at to solve. Cat and Lee make another appearance, and they don’t disappoint!
And how could we get through a whole story without King Rudolf making an appearance? I just love how he is both completely oblivious and yet right on point all at the same time.
Another excellent instalment in Sophia and Lunis’ story.
I'm unsure what was best? The book just kicks ass. The after notes also deserve a happy note!
Unreal, awesome, perhaps my most favorite book of the series. Yes, the combination in this book of both Liv and S. on a mission together is a great. Romance, sublime. I just can't say enough, (because it would suck to spoil the book by kicking the doors open on the plot) As to the after notes; almost as much fun as the book. I like the post script, I don't understand not reading it. It's like watching a movie and turning off the credits, half the time that's the best part of the movie. Really. Fight on Tiny Ninja peace!
So this has got to be the funniest one yet as some things i seen coming and others were a surprise. Despite reality coming into this book more than ever i think it inproved this more than it hurt it. This arc although a little more romanticism than others still has a theme of being good and helping which epitomises The beaufonts and the Elite in what they try to do for the world. It also helps us with some escapism which is something I think all authors, artists have helped us all with during these covid times. So till the next book comes i just have to carry on and hope MA & SN entertain us and help our sanity with more offerings.
I found this to be the most fun to read out of the 5 books so far released. The character interactions are priceless and Liv plays more of a role. She always wanted to work with Sophia when she grew up, now is the time. My favorite character in all of these books is Rudy (King Rudolph). He never disappoints. The newest characters at the bakery are hilarious and I hope we see more of them. Sophia is proving to be a very compassionate young lady who continually takes on too many tasks. All in all, a good clean, wonderful story
I loved this book!!! The adventures, the side adventures, and a party Gatsby would be proud to raise a glass to! Some awesome guest appearances, though I think our favorite daffy King is more than a guest at this point. A Saint so hot he makes you line up for nightmares to visit him and a cherub who you just want to smack! Then there are bakers who make you laugh out loud and not to mention, you never know who you may run into while in an elevator (hope the cupcake works)!
Very interesting. Overall, I really enjoyed this book. A fun read, more depth on the characters, more news and fun characters....yeh, more of the same "good stuff" I've enjoyed in the other books of the series.
That said, I did feel like one of the main conflicts introduced in the last book was really left hanging in this one. While I enjoyed the resolution this book did have, there was write a bit left hanging for the next book. Which I am looking forward to reading. Onward!
Definitely a great book for this crazy world. A fantasy world but still relatable to our current struggles. Laugh out loud hilarity throughout, full of heart, very uplifting, and reminds you to appreciate what and who you have in your life. Thrilled to see the sisters working together, so much fun! Truly brings home that family( blood or not) is everything and everlasting!
I enjoyed this one I think so far it is my favorite of the Dragonrider's. Sophia has a good heart and one that she has to come to terms with in so many ways. I love how she has matured so much just in this one book. Many laughable moments and ones of shaking my head at King Rudolph. What else can I say about one fantastic story is just this... Get the book and read it. If you have not read the ones before hand get them and catch up since your in for a grand ride.
READ THIS SERIES....This is really my favorite series, and favorite writing team. I love Soph, she is who I want to be friends with....I'd like to be her AND Liv when I grow up... even though I am a grown up now lol. I love how much love is in this book. I also love how even though this is fantasy fiction I always find more than a little bit of wisdom in them. Thank you for writing books that speak to my soul on multiple levels.
There's a little departure in this addition, giving a tiny bit closer look at Sophia and Wilder, but Sophia continues her mission to help her friends. The job is getting tougher but a dragon and trustworthy allies make a difference. I was up way past my bedtime reading this and it's my favorite so far! Well done and thanks for putting it all out there in the universe, Sarah! P S Michael...Windows. 😊
I gave this book 5 stars because it is a good stand alone book as well as part of a series. Each turn of the page brings new adventures and relationships. The love between the two sisters is special, so much trust and love for family both of blood and not. I can't wait for the next book which is downloading as I write. If it is half as good as every other book in the series then it will be brilliant!
This book is beyond entertaining. The more you get to know S. Beaufort the better you like her and she is just one of the many characters that are so much fun. Read this book along with the rest of them. I promise I'm not steering you wrong. Thank you Sarah and Michael for continuing to write stories that keep me so entertained. And Michael, I hope you ate your cupcake.
This is a spin off series from the "Unstoppable LIV Beaufont"..which is a great series. The story is about Sophia Beaufont (LIV's little sis) and about her being the 1st dragon rider in 100 years and 1st female rider EvER & all of her and her dragons challenges and adventures and love..ect. I love the characters and personalities in this series and its funny. I also really enjoy how author pulls in charachters from Sister LiV story. Mrs.C 💋
I love these books so much and they really inspire me to be a better person in all aspects of life including being confident in myself! I’m so glad that Sofia and Wilder ended up together (it was something I felt would happen from the very beginning) and I was very pleased when I confirmed my suspicions. I really don’t want this series to end!!!!!!!
Justice Unhatched is another fun book in this cool book series about an amazing dragon riding girl. If you’ve been reading the previous books, you know what to expect and you’ll love this book. If you haven’t read the other books, for best results, start with the author’s series about Sophia’s sister Liv Beaufont (the Rebellious Sister).
What can I say...another hit! The movie referred were ones that made me feel old but who cares. The conversation between Sophia and Lunis are extremely entertaining. Of course I was so happy to see her pair with her big sister too. Thank you so much for transporting us to another world!
Loved all the Live books and now hooked on the Sophie Beau font series. All the books are fairly fast paced and will keep you up late because you have to read just one more chapter. All of the books keep you thinking about all the characters you met in the previous books and series. Be warned if you tart reading one book you will be in for the long haul. Very addictive and well written.
I have just found this world. In the last month I have binge read Brownstone, Live’s stories and now Sophia. I’m waiting with little patience for the next book and exploring further into the other. Thank you
As always, a fantastic read. Sophia struggles a little in this book, but in a good way. The adventures are incredible, and I loved seeing Liv so much too. I annoy wait until the next one. PS- Hope Yoda liked his cupcake.
Another awesome installment in the Exceptional S. Beaufont series! I love how Sofia solves problems: with love and compassion and family first. I can't wait to see what happens next! Keep churning out the awesome stories, Sarah and Mike!
I cannot believe this was written in 3 days! So many emotions in this one. I spent so much time laughing and then a bit of crying. I’m excited to see how things work out with Trin as well as Wilder and Sophia. I can’t wait for the wedding!!!
