I left with a huge secret-- one I kept from everyone. Now, I’m back on Chicken Fried Love and paired up with the man that plagues my dreams. I want to tell him everything, but I’m scared. He hates me, and I don’t blame him. What hurts the most is how badly I still want him.

I poured my heart out to her, loved her from the first day I found her crying after being bullied by the others. Then, she changed. She turned into a bully herself.
I haven’t let many into my heart, but I let her. Now, I can’t stand to be near her.
Then, I lost everything. Thankfully, Sal gave me a chance on the show. There’s just one problem-- he paired me up with her.
I hate her guts more than anything else, but the ember inside me still burns for her.

I enjoyed Skye and Lincoln story! It's a good and new addition to the "Chicken Fried Love" stories. This is an emotional roller coaster read and definitely worth reading. It's a good second chance with plenty of drama, angst, heartwarming moments and good twists and tuns. This story is about second chances. Overall, a nicely developed and written story.

Skye's Fall was a great story that was filled with so much emotion and passion that Cedar Rose has once again brought her characters to life in book 2 of Chicken Fried Love. Lincoln is left broken when he lost the love of his life to his best friend years ago, now he finds that his mother took all of his money and sold his ranch of by deceit. With the help of his best friend Memphis and Ever he is trying to earn enough money to take on his mother, but in order to do so he has to join the new cast of Chicken Fried Love. Skye who has made a mess of her life with all of her bullying and chaos she caused last season on Chicken Fried Love has made amends with her ex- Memphis and his wife Ever but is still having a hard time forgiving herself for the way she hurt people by her selfish actions.. She is now trying to turn her life around with the help from her family and friends, she just may get the chance when Sal temps her to join the cast again. But when Lincoln and Skye are teamed up together, once again hate, lies and misunderstandings will get in the way of their happiness. Unknown to both of them forces are working behind the scenes to take both of them down, once Skye's secret is revealed the whole town along with Lincoln and Memphis will be shocked. Lincoln once again jumps to the wrong conclusions and takes off, when he locates his father and finds out the truth about his life and the plans his mother put into action years ago. Now Lincoln is determined than ever to get a second chance to get the woman he always loved back and start a life with her. Skye has her own plans to win Lincoln back along with the help from her friends to get the one person she never stopped loving. This story will have you loving each moment of this emotional journey of forgiveness and making amends for one's past behavior as you follow Skye and Lincoln's journey towards a life between two soulmates. I highly recommend this book, can't wait for the next installment about Beau and Timber!

Wow, just wow. This is the second book in the series and if I thought the Ever's Last was intense, Skye's Fall is beyond.

Lets just start with there was a lot of players in this story that it took me a bit to get them straight. I almost had to have a diagram. This differently did not take away from the story. This book is full of the "Oh My", "NOOOO" and the "Oh No" moments and lets not forgot the how many times I gasped as something was revealed. You might need a tissue for couple of times.

Skye's and Lincoln's story tugged at my heart there is so much pain. Skye's struggle and bad choices in her past lead to more pain not only of family and friends but of herself. Lincoln only truly loved one woman and when she broke his heart, he focused on the only thing that matter to him, his ranch, but the pain grew. With separate factors against them, they decide to be in the dating show not realizing Uncle Sal has his plans. During the the filming truths come out, feelings are hidden and revealed, friends are false and jealousy is harsh. But to move on they need to be able to forgive each other and themselves.

I loved this story and could not put it down. I was amazing how the whole town would come together to help no matter if it is someone loosing their ranch or planning a proposal. The character honesty and forgiveness between them is done with a bounty of love. I can't wait for the next book.

I started this book at 6am after a rough nights sleep and by 9:30am with a tear streaked face I was done. So gutted I read it so quickly and that my time with Skye, Memphis, Lincoln and Ever was over.
I was so intrigued with what the secrets were and while I knew there would be heartbreak, I hoped it would not last long. It was heartening to see everyone aware of the love, despite those involved trying to deny the existence to everyone and themselves.
There were some twists I didn't see coming but they tied things up nicely. This the first book I have read by Cedar Rose and I can't wait to read more.
This book broke my heart and mended it. I laughed and cried.

Totally enjoy reading this book. It is filled with emotions regarding both characters. A lot of hurt and angrier, even hate on Lincoln part, even though deep down he loved Skye. Skye did things out of fear of hurting people in her life, her choices weren't the greatest but one can understand the why. Her best friend Ever taught her how to be true to oneself and how to find her way back, for which she did. Lincoln and Skye found their way back to each other through the love of their friends and family. Great story, can't wait for Beau and Timber story next.

Skye and Linc were a couple years ago until she changed and wanted more which lead her to Memphis. She married Memphis but soon was divorced and he ended up getting married to Ever which is really his soul mate and when Skye realizes what a mess she has made of her life she is determined to change for he good and prove to everyone that she is a good person. When she and Linc end up on a reality dating show they are thrown together and after some misunderstanding and very heartbreaking situations they end up together.

In the first book in this series Skye is out to get everyone so seeing how much she grew and how much she was able to see past the end of her own nose was so good. The main characters make you want to root for them because it always seems like there is someone working against them. The Chicken Fried Love part of it is something that I love because I'm a hard core Bachelor type show fan. I look forward to the next book.

Being OCD sometimes on series and such I had to hop into this one since I had read the first one. good ole love story to warm the heart and warm the toes. This is also a second chance one we rarely get except in the books. Then when the two whom would not of thought it would happen have been put together on a show we see Skye and Lincoln and we start to grin. From smolder to slow burn we follow the words that transport us to them and how it unfolds. Of course you will get humor but also things to tug at the heart like tears and then love. It all is in here from start to finish.

Skye's life is falling apart and she can't seem to stop it. Doing another season of Chicken Fried Love is going to be a challenge, but she has decided to be the better person, not who she was last season. She wants/needs to change. Little does she know the love of her life, Linc, is going to be on Chicken Fried Love also. Will she ever get thru this or will she just have to move away? This story will melt your heart, make you angry, melt your heart again & then make you furious.

This is the second book in the Chicken Fried Love series. I love both books. I didn’t want to put them down through all the drama and twists and turns. The first book is Memphis and Ever’s story. Skye is in the first book and is a nasty women who is horrible to Ever. This book is Skye and Lincoln’s story. We learn that Skye also broke Lincoln’s heart years ago. Lincoln and Skye are put on a TV show together. Will they be able to sort out their past and move forward?

Skye's Fall is the second book in the Chicken Fried Love series and is an emotional read.

This book is heartbreaking and heartwarming. Skye and Lincoln have always belonged together but other's machinations in the past along with Skye's mistakes tore them apart. This story is well written and engaging, with lies, misunderstandings, secrets, forgiveness, redemption, and a second chance for romance.

I cannot wait for the next book in this series.

Skye and Lincoln’s story was full of angst. They dated, but then Skye ends up marrying someone else even though Lincoln shows up on her wedding day and ask her to leave with him. Now five years later Skye has returned home, she’s single and Lincoln wants nothing to do with her and can’t stand her. This is a standalone, it’s the second book in the rural bachelor series. I did feel lost on some of the characters and all of the backstory. So I’d suggest reading the first book before this one. Now I need to go read it.

This series is a must read!! Read this in one night couldn't put it down!! Skye has had a rough life and lots of things to make up for...Linc loses everything and finds out his life was a lie. But not their love!! You learn about them in the first book, but this book gets the details out! Love the other characters from the first make an appearance!! Now to wait for Timbers story!!!

I was super excited to read this because I devoured the first book in the series in one sitting so I was really looking forward to Skye's Fall. It most definitely didn't disappoint it had everything. The drama the heartache the surprises. It had everything I devoured this one just as fast and no spoilers but it had some gasps worthy moments for sure. I would most definitely recommend reading this book.

A sweet second chance between Linc and Skye. They have a very strong love-hate relationship and the hurdles that they have to overcome make this plot enticing to read. You can see that Linc loves Skye, but when she broke his heart and married his best friend. When she comes back into his life, can they make a relationship work?

This is beautiful story focused on love and a second chance.

It is the type of story that clutches you at once and does not release you until you get to the end - then you find yourself pining over the fact that the book has ended.

I love this series and it keeps getting better. Skye and Lincoln story was fabulous. I love all the characters I get to meet and see. Even after the years apart and the hurt and pain that happened, they still want each other. There are secrets, misunderstandings, angst and some hot chemistry. This is a beautiful told story about second chances and I can’t wait for the next book. I just couldn’t put it down.

This second story of second chance love was intriguing with back story fill ins for Skye and Lincoln. I would highly suggest reading Ever's Last before starting Skye's Fall to make sure you can follow the storyline. There are some great characters who give the feeling of family, and there are some evil characters causing there own drama as well. Awesome second addition to the Rural Bachelors series!

This is a new author to me and I found this to be exciting and enjoyable, it had me turning page after page as I was engrossed in the plot. Very well done. I actually enjoyed this one more than the first but that could be due to the fact that the main characters I already knew from Ever and Memphis’s story. My heart broke for Skye, I know she brought most of it in herself through her previous actions but she isn’t that girl anymore. I love the style of Cedar’s writing , it’s easy going and friendly like hearing a friend tell you their story. The ground work was cleverly laid for book 3 so I look forward to that

Great story with remarkable characters, this is an emotion fest that will have you on a rollercoaster. Skye is trying to make amends and Lincoln cannot help the hatred he has for her, she hurt him, but they do say love and hate are a thin line.

Lincoln and Skye's story is going to play on your heartstrings like they are a fiddle and your going to feel every pluck. This book is so extremely good I couldn't stop reading it till the wee hours of the morning just to finish it before I had to go to work.

This was a second chance romance for Linc and Skye. What moved me the most was when he read her journals of her feelings for him, her feelings about marrying Memphis and her child. The ring that was given to Linc for a proposal. It was a good read.

This was such a great second chance romance. I really loved how it was also a redemption story for Skye, she was pretty horrid in the first book but in this book we get to see her reasons and I ended up really feeling for her. The chemistry between her and Linc was awesome. I really loved this story.
