Mackenzie is falling for the wrong man. Dane is completely off-limits and not someone she should be thinking about, but she can't keep her mind off him. Running out on him after a one-night stand, she hoped she could avoid him for the foreseeable future, but fate has other ideas. When she's sent to his clubhouse for her own protection, she's put front and centre in his world and has no choice but to face up to her feelings for the man.
As Vice President of the Devil's Dogs, Dane knows dating another club's princess is a huge no-no. He never expected to fall for Mackenzie, but now he's tasted her he's not willing to let her go. When outside forces threaten her club and family, he does the only thing he can to save her--stands at her side, putting him at odds with his own National Chapter.
It won't be an easy journey, but Mackenzie and Dane are sure of one thing--they're not doing this without each other.
I’m sad to say that this is the last book in the Lost Saxons MC series but it went out on top with Dane and Mackenzie’s story. Dane is the VP of the Devil Dogs MC who are allies of the Lost Saxons who are in desperate need of some help while they are at war with their enemy. When Dane and Mackenzie end up in close contact again their chemistry is undeniable…even though their relationship should go nowhere since they are from two different MC’s.
I love the chemistry and steam from this couple and the devotion they showed for each other. The action in this book was heart pounding with some sad moments as well. What a great book!
I hate to say goodbye to one of my favorite MC series! The Lost Saxon MC has stolen a piece of my heart. ❤️ Fallen Rider is the book that wraps it up and boy does it ever.
This is Kenzi's story, a princess within the Lost Saxons. She doesn't want a biker man. She prefers a nice guy in a suit with less drama, until she meets Dane. He's a big bad biker man from another club. How can this end well? Will love conquer all the hurdles that will come up? Will the Lost Saxons finally take down the Reapers? Will the Devils Dogs get pulled into a war they did not want? So many question.....
I love when an MC story is fearless. I love when we get the gritty and some of the uglier sides of this violent lifestyle. It's painful at times but really perfect at others. All these books can be read as standalones but you will miss the continuous storyline that weaves throughout the series. I highly suggest starting with book 1 and building the excitement for this final book. I 💯% recommend this series.
Oh wow. This book was everything. If you've read the rest of the series, this is a perfect way to end this brilliant series; you're in for a treat. If you haven't read any of this series, go back to the beginning, get comfy and settle in for a fantastic UK based MC series. Kenzi's story is so well written. There's trouble with warring clubs, there's a hot man, a feisty woman, over protective brothers, and drama all the way through. The story is fast paced, but manages to tie up the whole series so you're left in no doubt where everyone who you've come to love throughout this series moves on with their lives. I'm not giving any spoilers because I think you need to read the book for yourself, but I will say the whole thing is "THE DB"!!!!
What I like the most about Jessica Ames' stories is that they are unpredictable, all you need to know will be there even if you don't know it at the time and they feel real. She is also the queen of slow burn and of ending chapters that make you gasp and keep going (hello curiosity!).
To say I was sad, when she announced that Fallen Rider was the last book of the Lost Saxons, would be an understatement. But, if I'm being honest, another thing that I love about her writing is that she doesn't force stories. She didn't tell the story of each member of the MC club, which was refreshing and different. What she did do masterfully over the span of seven books was to tell the "current" story of the club. And the Lost Saxons are simply amazing.
Fallen Rider focuses on Mackenzie Harlow, princess of the Saxons and Logan, Jem and Adam's sister. She is a badass of her own and, even if she can only communicate through BSL, she is one of the most opinionated ladies in the family. She is fierce but understands the MC life and its rules. As the club is at war with the Reapers, she will reconnect with Dane, the VP of the Devil's Dog MC. He knows who he wants.
Their chemistry and vibes are hot, steamy and combustible. It's impossible not to root for these two because they are meant to be. But the dynamics of MC life are complicated and being together might not be as easy as one would hope for.
Although Fallen Rider follows Kenzie and Dane, it gives closure to Lost Saxons. It shows the club from a different perspective, with plenty of action, twists and sexy as hell scenes. But, because I'm a greedy reader, I'll say this: it leaves a tiny door open for more. It feels complete but one can only hope that one day they'll be back because they are a terrific bunch.
Wow, just wow!! Just give me a minute whilst I just breathe it in! Take it all in people, this is the concluding book in The Saxons MC series! Let me tell you, you will not be disappointed, well you may be because, well its the last book! However you will not be disappointed with the quality of writing this author brings to every book she writes and you will not be disappointed with the way this book makes you feel! I highly recommend that you read the previous books in this series before you read this one to, A: get the full experience of this MC, each one tends to lead off the previous one and B: because it's a bloody good series! This is McKenzie's story and my heart!! I am not sure if I got to the end with it fully intact and my anxiety levels were through the roof! All signs of a fantastic read! I have been fully invested in this family since book one and when I say I felt everything, I mean EVERYTHING!! Loyalties will be tested, lives maybe lost, who will be left standing when the dust settles? Absolutely, fantastic end to an amazing series!!
FALLEN RIDER is the seventh and final instalment in Jessica Ames’ contemporary, adult LOST SAXONS MC erotic, MC romance series. This is Mackenzie Harlow, and Devil’s Dogs VP Dane’s story line. FALLEN RIDER can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary but I recommend reading the series in order for backstory and cohesion as there is an ongoing premise throughout.
NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.
Told from first person perspective (Mackenzie) FALLEN RIDER continues to follow the war between the Lost Saxons MC and the Reapers. Betrayal from within has pulled the Lost Saxons into a war, a war that is targeting their membership and their women, the Lost Saxons have called in help from the Devil’s Dogs MC. Four months earlier a one-night stand between Mackenzie and the Devil’s Dogs VP Dane is about to come full circle when Dane claims our heroine in the wake of perceived betrayal with the National chapter, a claiming that is not accepted by family and friends. An attack against the Devil’s Dogs, places our heroine in the direct line of fire, as she becomes a pawn in a game of winner takes all . What ensues is the building but forbidden relationship between Dane and Mackenzie, and the potential fall-out as Dane must face the possibility of not only losing his position and his club, but also the woman he loves.
The world building continues to focus on the war between the Lost Saxons and the Reapers MC, a war predicated on betrayal and the Reapers demands for more control. Several women of the Lost Saxons MC have become targets, and victims in a war not of their making, and our heroine is about to face down her worst nightmare against the Reapers MC.
The relationship between Dane and Mackenzie is a forbidden romance. Four months earlier at Mackenzie’s brother’s wedding, Dane and Mackenzie embarked on a one-night stand, in which Mackenzie ghosted our story line hero. Never forgetting about the woman who had stolen his heart, Dane is willing to claim Mackenzie to save his club and the woman he loves. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters, most of whom we met in the previous instalments including Mackenzie’s extended family of siblings, and several members of both the Lost Saxons MC, and the Devil’s Dogs MC.
FALLEN RIDER is a story of betrayal and vengeance, secrets and lies, power and control, obsession and greed, family and friendships, relationships and love. The premise is dark, gritty and raw; the romance is seductive; the characters are determined and real.
Ahh, it's always hard to finish a good series! I wanted all the answers, and the resolution to this club's dangers, and I got them!
The main couple in this one have several reasons that should give them pause, and if they were thinking - they'd never have been together. MacKenzie is, for all intent and purpose, a Saxon. Her brothers are all patched members, and she has no business starting anything with Dane (the VP of another club). But we all know, you can't stop love!
This has all the bloodshed and club turmoils like the other stories in this series, but I found it a little easier (not as dark). Dylan is still causing trouble, and definitely gets what's coming to him, in this story. There were a few twists to this storyline that popped up, but most of the read moved the way I wanted, and I found it a good wrap up to this club.
Definitely read in order to avoid spoilers, and check out the other fantastic MC reads from this talented author. I was fortunate to receive a complimentary copy of this book (thank you), and am pleased to leave my review. I look forward to the next offering from this creative wordsmith!
When I first found out that Mackenzie Harlow was getting her story I was so excited... then I found out that her story was to be the ending of the Lost Saxons world and I think my heart missed a beat... I tried to read this slowly but as with every other Lost Saxon read I was hooked and didnt want to put it down from start to finish. I totally refuse to accept this is the end.. even if I have to do re read after re read of them all I wont let them go easily as I've loved them all so much all for completely different reasons and in different ways. Mackenzie is just amazing.. shes strong.. shes reliable and shes been looking for love since all her family have started pairing up with their partners.. so when hot VP Dane arrives from another club we have intense chemistry.. and an overwhelming need for them to be able to work things out. As always this story is full of twist turns and OMG moments leaving you smiling.. sad and on a journey of craziness. Huge well done Jessica Ames for managing to write yet another fantastic book!
Mackenzie is the sister of multiple Lost Saxon MC members who also happens to be mute. She believes she doesn't want to get involved with any MC member, especially due to the recent lockdowns and issues the MC has experienced. Nevertheless, she had a ONS with a member of another MC at her brother's wedding. Thankfully they are allies, but there is always issues with mixing with another MC. I loved how Dane was pretty much all in with Mackenzie. Yes, sometimes he went a little far, like claiming her before he asked her, but this name is protector extraordinaire. The ongoing trouble the Lost Saxons having been dealing with are eventually resolved and we got a great HEA. My biggest issue, this is the last story in the series and I felt as if the author left some issues hanging. There was never that sit down talk with Paige, what about Sofia and her hunt for true love, and Adam has started a new branch of the MC. Could the author be starting another series? I sure hope so.
This book is Mackenzie and Dane’s story. She is awesome! He’s a hot guy, VP from another MC. They’ve known each other for many years, but haven’t really been together openly. A situation with a rival club makes them go into lockdown and to get help from another club. This brings beautiful Mackenzie into Dane’s territory. They get together and many issues come due to it. At the same tome, chaos is descending upon them. She gets caught up in it, only to end up with her man and a HEA.
I feel sad that the series ended. I like them as a big family. At the same time, it was awesome to finally get to read Mackenzie’s story and witnessing her getting her HEA. Thank you Jessica! And please, keep on writing.
Although I will always recommend The Lost Saxons series, the end to Lost Saxons fell a little short for me.
I wanted to love Mackenzie and Dane's story as much as I loved Beth and Logan and Liv and Dean, but it felt a little rushed and a lot instalove for me.
I though after the last three books had paid so much attention to Lucas lazy, shiftless behavior that he would have more character development rather than what happened between him and Lola.
I did really enjoy Dane's feelings for Mackenzie and that he never wavered, even though he knew that was probably going to cause some pain. I was glad to see a happier ending than I though would be possible for all four Harlow brothers, and I do hope we'll see the Lost Saxons show up in some of Jessica Ames upcoming Manchester MC novels.
Mackenzie finally gets her HEA, which I was really happy about. Dane is the VP of the Devil Dogs MC, a friendly chapter that steps in and helps with the Lost Saxons are threatened. They met at Beth and Logan's wedding and hit it off but then things died when he went home. The romance is reignited when the women of the Lost Saxons are sent to stay at the Devil Dogs clubhouse for safe keeping. Their relationship is a secret because of the divided loyalties and when it is exposed, things get complicated. This was a steamy, fast paced book but there are so many unanswered questions in the arcing plot that I'm surprised that it is the last in the series.

This tugged at my heart, Kenzie is such a strong and independent woman despite not being able to speak, she's sassy and stands up to her over bearing brothers. She has watched two of them find their forever person and she wants that, but the one she wants isn't from their family. Tension throughout as we reach a conclusion to the series, we get an ending, lots of changes and new starts. I was gripped and very invested in the HEA for this, I loved the action and the romance, even in the midst of battle. Wow! What a claiming this was as well, but nothing less than what she deserved. Dane is a good guy and so right for her. What a finale! 🤗❤
I'm sad that I've come to the end of the series but what a lovely high to go out on. There's a lot of grief and fear to encounter first though. Dane being VP of the devil's is not anyone's first choice for Mackenzie, she's Saxon princess after all, one who swore she'd never be an old lady but spending time with Dane at Logan and Beth wedding changed that. I would of liked to of seen Cami and Adam get together but maybe lost Saxon isn't entirely finished telling their story or the devil's might have a tale to tell
This one conflicted me, because the further we got in the series the more I loved it. But with this being the final book in the series I feel like there was so many many things to tie up and answer but most didn't. Which is a crying shame and definitely not what I'm used to. In saying all of this I did really like this couple together and if it wasn't the final book I would of loved it even more. I hope the author decides to go back and revisit this series at some point as it really was brilliant up till now.
Loved it! Love this series! This novel did not disappoint. From the first chapter I was sucked back into this world. I love a good MC noel and this novel did not disappoint. This was Mackenzie and Dane's story. I loved the great chemistry they had between them. I loved that despite trying to fight her feelings for him they were able to pull it all together. This novel kept me on the edge of my seat reading because I needed to know what was coming next. So good! I loved it and can't wait t0 see what is coming next from this author.
Falling for the VP of another club is going to cause a whole heap of complications. Dane and Mackenzie seem to be an unlikely pair, but I love them as a couple. He's large and in charge, but still so loving and caring with her. I'm late to the Lost Saxons reading party. This is the last book in the series, and I'm sorry to see it end. If I know anything at all, it's that I'll find something else from the author that I'll fall in love with. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Mackenzie & Dane Mackenzie & Dane had a ONS after her brothers wedding and now are in close proximity after his club offer the girls refuge & protection at their club. They are both cautious about the impact of their attraction on both clubs but things progress quickly and Dane claims her as his old lady. I liked the fact the Saxons Kingsley chapter was wrapped up and a new chapter location started, new series to follow I assume. At points I found the amount of characters & some similar names a little confusing to keep track of.
The final book in the Lost Saxons Motorcycle Club was nothing short of brilliant. Kenzie and Dane with their heat and chemistry were off the charts. There was danger, love and of course there was some angst. Watching Kenzie and Dane fall in love despite the odds and obstacles. True love will always find a way to win!!!
Ms. Ames makes the characters come to life and even though this was the final book for the Lost Saxons I can't wait to see where she goes next.
The final lost saxons story and we get Maxkenzie, the club princess who knows how the MC works and wants no man from it, that isnuntil she's forced to stay with Dane, from another club for her protection they know one another but being in close quarters brings more deeper feelings but can they go the distance. Well written, the story has you hooked with deisres, drama action and more!.

Family and club loyalties are put to the test Once again with this final book in the series and what a great way to end it all. Mackenzie is a club princess with the Lost Saxons and Dane is VP of the Devil's Dogs, with both clubs friendly for now. When the Saxons go to war, their relationship is put to the ultimate test with lives at stake and who will still be standing when the smoke clears. Fantastic series from start to finish.
This is the 7th book in this incredible series, and this is VP of the Devil Dogs MC, Dane. and Mackenzie, another club’s princess. This is a well written story which is action packed, loyalty, danger, suspense, intrigue, turmoil, undeniable chemistry, friendships, family, and love, which leads to an entertaining, tragic, unpredictable, and steamy addictive page turner. I absolutely love this MC series and I hate to say goodbye to such get group of characters. Mackenzie and Dane’s story is well written once I started I couldn’t put it down, it was unpredictable with twists and turns. I would recommend this whole series; I am looking forward new books from this great author.
This series was well worth the read! Loved the storyline characters and all the feels. Each couple is put to the test but comes out stronger in the end! Loved each of them but waiver on of Weed or Dane are my favorite. Wished it wouldn’t end as I would love to see how it played out with the new chapter in Northampton but happy Lo ends where he does at the end.
I absolutely loved this series. It is MC at its best. This last book was hard, but brought a lot of resolutions. It's different cos it's English, but in every other way it's the same. A lot of changes are happening by the end of this book, all of them good. Hard to put down, so be warned Sue P
I enjoyed this series. This is supposed to be the final story. I will miss the characters. In this one we find an end to the Reapers who have caused all the trouble to the Lost Saxons. We also get the sweetest romance between two members of allied clubs. Forever joined because of this love. Highly recommend.
This was one of my absolute favorite series! I’m sad to see it come to an end but Mackenzie and Dane’s story was the perfect way to close it out. As always this author did not disappoint and I’m excited to see what she has for us next!
This series was a great read & am sorry it has ended. But it ended perfectly with dane & beth. We found out where all couples ended up so no guessing which i am thankful for. I can say i enjoyed fallen rider the best. There was no repetition from other books & beth & dane were the perfect couple bringing both clubs together forever.
