I had somewhat of an idea of how Disney Cruise Line (DCL) was. I even booked for our family to sail away a few years ago for the first time. However, we had to cancel... Well, I like to think of it as postponing the trip; as we have every intention of rebooking.

Especially after reading Dream Guide: An Unofficial Guide to Disney Cruise Line by Adam Hattan. Filled with so much insight, fun facts, pro tips, about DCL, you finish the book knowing a lot more than you anticipated. Each chapter is organized nicely from embarkation, days at sea, ports of call, Castaway Cay, to disembarkation day. Fantastic guide if you've never sailed with Disney and even if you have. I leave you with a fun fact:

"Two of the submarine ride vehicles from the former 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea attraction in Walt Disney World, are now fully submerged and available to explore at the island's snorkelling area."

This is the first dream guide by Adam Hattan I have read and it did not disappoint. The book provides you with plenty of detail and tips to prepare you for what to expect on the Disney Cruise line ships. A definite recommend if you are thinking of going on one of the cruises, it even has space towards the back for you to make your own notes for your holiday.
