J Kenner's stories are fantastic reads that keep you on the edge of your seat!
Shattered With You: The book starts in the present with our Stark Security Hero, Quincy, on a mission (a la James Bond-style) with his partner Denise. Meanwhile, our struggling actress heroine, Eliza, happens to be in the same hotel looking for clues to find her missing older sister. When they see each other, it's Eliza's memories that recount how they met several years ago, experienced a romantic relationship for several months, before Quincy walked out of her life without a word, leaving her with a devastated, shattered heart. She never knew Quincy's true profession so when she sees him after all this time, she is one pissed off cookie, trying not to blow her own charade at the high-end party. As it turns out, Eliza's goal to find her sister overlaps with Quincy and Stark Securities mission to find a missing princess. Although "forced" into working together to hopefully achieve their respective goals, Eliza continues to chip away at Quincy's resolve to reveal why he suddenly disappeared on her when it seemed they were mutually in love with one another.
The story is told from a dual point of view so we're privy to Quincy's inner turmoil and Eliza's frustration and determination to find out what went wrong with them so she can finally move forward. In spite of their respective resolve to not get involved with one another again, each for different reasons, their yin and yang chemistry continues to draw them together.
As a wonderful aside, this book features cameos from Damien, Nikki, Jamie and Ryan!
Shadows of You (prequel to Broken With You): This was a quick, yet sensual read about Stark Security heroine, Denny, and her husband, Mason, who's been gone on a special assignment. On the surface, it's a romantic, secret rendez-vous. Although short, this prequel fits in uniquely in the full length story, Broken With You. Kenner's masterful storytelling with intricate details makes her romantic suspense books an exhilarating read, especially when set in the Stark World!
Broken With You: This is the first book in the Stark Security world featuring a female lead, our heroine, Denise "Denny" Marshall. We met her in the first book, Shattered With You, when she was Quince's partner, and we learned her husband, Mason, an undercover intelligence operative, has been gone a long time. In Broken With You, Mason surfaces, but he doesn't know who he is, what his mission was about, or any part of his personal life, which includes his wife, Denny. Denise used to work in the same government agency as Mason, but then moved over to the private sector to work for Stark Security. Jack (which is Mason's alias since he doesn't know his name is Mason) goes to work with Denise, believing they were former partners, in hopes of jogging his memory loose by utilizing his "spy" skills.
The story is told from a dual point of view so we experience the roller coaster emotions Denny feels when she wants to be held by the husband who doesn't recognize his wife...or does he? His mind knows Jack shouldn't be pursuing another man's wife, but his soul keeps pointing her way. I really enjoyed the intrigue behind the uncovering of the details of Mason's mission and the push and pull of Denny and Mason's new relationship. For being as badass of an agent, it sure took Jack a long time to add things up to realize he was Mason! Can't wait to see what craziness brings Liam to his knees!

Fabulous addition to the Stark universe with an exciting, action-packed and sexy crew at Stark Security.
Shattered with You: Action-packed, heart-stopping, exciting and sexy. Eliza and Quincy met 4 years ago and had a beautiful 3-month encounter then Quincy disappeared without a word. Now, Eliza is trying to find her sister and as she attends an event in her place, the last person she expects to see is Quincy. Quincy is shocked by Eliza’s presence but his mission needs another set of hands. This chance encounter leads them into the same mystery to find her sister and a kidnapped princess. Being thrown together in a fast-paced, intense situation causes all kinds of feelings to resurface. Will these two embrace this second chance for love? Or will Quincy let the ghosts that haunt him keep him from happiness? Loved the action as it kept me guessing. The chemistry between Eliza and Quincy is all-consuming and I gave Eliza credit for fighting for what she wanted. I wanted to smack Quincy a few times even though his intentions were good and his demons very dark.
Shadows of You: Perfect sexy interlude for Denise and Mason while Mason is on a deep cover op and they’ve been separated for a few years. Denise gets the best Valentine’s surprise orchestrated by her friends that delivers just what the doctor ordered for Denise. What a fabulous couple.
Broken with You: Heart-stopping action kept me engaged in this story. Mason wakes up in a hotel not knowing where he is or who for that matter but he has a set of numbers in his head. One phone call leads him back to his team but he doesn’t remember the mission yet, in his dreams, he sees intense green eyes. When he meets Denise, his former partner, he has a connection to the eyes that draws him in. Denise is overjoyed that Mason has returned but sadly he doesn’t know who he is. This creates a slippery slope as they work to restore his memory without losing him into his mind. I was on edge in this story the entire time. What was the true mission? I knew whatever he had uncovered had to be intense. Will he ever remember Denise again and their love? Who is lurking out there if Mason is back? I was pulled in from page 1 and had to know how it would end.
Ruined with You: Xena is a warrior and a survivor but when her past catches up with her, she has to admit that she needs help to beat the evil after her. She has worked so hard to build a new life while hiding. When the people after her put her friends in danger, she knows she has to run and start over. What she never expects is for Liam, from Stark Security, to follow her. For Xena, accepting help is hard, she wants to be the warrior, handling her own problems. Liam has been attracted to Xena from the moment he met her but he is damaged goods after losing the love of his life years ago. When he realizes the threats, he is investigating are really toward Xena, he knows he has to protect her. I love the strength in both of these characters, each having their own emotional trauma to overcome. The beauty to their relationship truly unfolds in the bedroom as they both acknowledge and allow their true desires to be fulfilled. Of course, the road to happiness is never easy and the man after Xena is relentless. Will they be able to stop him in time? Had me on the edge of my seat to the very end.

I love the strength in both of these characters, each having their own emotional trauma to overcome. The beauty to their relationship truly unfolds in the bedroom as they both acknowledge and allow their true desires to be fulfilled. Of course, the road to happiness is never easy and the man after Xena is relentless. Will they be able to stop him in time? Had me on the edge of my seat to the very end.

Loads of action and intrigue as well as pain and anguish. Both main characters have painful pasts, childhood memories plague their adult lives, but for one there's more. Now they need to work together to save a princess and Eliza's sister with the help of Stark Security, trying to also find out why and who did the initial kidnap. Lots of levels to dig into and clues to solve, but this is also a love story, not an easy one or straight forward but I was glad Eliza was strong enough and understanding enough to listen and also see through some of what wasn't voiced to start with. Exciting new series and I'm diving into book two. Started 14/3/21 finished 15/3/21
Gosh this is heartbreaking. Poor Denny, missing her husband has become so hard, it's 2 years since he went deep undercover. Seeing so many friends happy and in love though is breaking her heart. But those friends step in. I loved the slight mystery and the surprise. A short but lovely read.Started and finished 2/10/21

Intense story that grabs a readers heart and holds it captive throughout, I empathised with both characters, the frustration and the fear and add in a little guilt in places. This couple had been through so much and still had more to battle through, with no answers or clues on how to solve the main problem. Add in some betrayal along the way this was like a never ending maze. I wanted to clap my hands and Mason whole and Denny to get her husband back. This was non stop excitement from the get go, fabulous characters and a plot made of your worse fears. Started 15/3/21 finished 16/3/21
Protection duty ends up being way more than Liam expects in this fast paced and exciting story. Well written and enjoyable, loved getting a Dallas and Jane fix as well. Xena has had a rough life and is still looking over her shoulder, after an attack on Ellie she wonders if her past has finally caught up. I love how all these characters are a bit broken, vulnerable and wary of love, until it leaves them with no choice, then it's intense and extremely protective of each other. Lots of support from all around them from chosen family, who are way more than friends and colleagues. Wonderful read. Started 4/10/21 Finished 5/10/21

This first book is about Quincy and Eliza. This is a second meeting for them they were together for months and then he left her high and dry. They meet again while he and she are both undercover but Quincy can't let her go so he more or less Shang highs her. She goes with him and helps him complete his mission, but Her's is abandoned.
When they are back safely from his mission, she tells him that he needs to help with hers. She needs to find her sister. Her sister disappeared while working on a child abduction mission. They go undercover again to find her sister.
Shadows of You
This is the story of Denise and Mason during Valentine's Day. She doesn't know for certain that it's Mason but she's pretty sure that is it. Mason comes home to her during a mission since he misses her so much and it's been years since they have been together.
Broken With You
This is the story of Denise and Mason. Mason comes back from a mission without any memory. He found his way back to where he worked somehow but he has no memory of his wife or his life. His wife is notified about his return, but she is told that under no circumstances can she tell him about his life or their marriage.
Denise saw Mason during Valentines but that was a few months ago. Now he has no memory of her. They have time together, but he doesn't remember her.
The book goes on and has twists and turns that keep you reading. This is my favorite book in the series.

They have quite a bumpy road with lots of twists and turns. The plot changes a lot keeping you reading. I liked this book immensely.

Book 1 Shattered With You: This is the first book in the Stark Security Series. Wow! I love this well written Romantic Suspense! The storyline is suspenseful, fast-paced, action packed, sexy, and intriguing story. The twists and turns are really well done, and kept me guessing what would happen next! Quincy and Eliza are such great characters! They share a strong, hot, and undeniable chemistry. The other characters are also very interesting. I love the ending.
Novella: Shadows of you (Prequel): I loved it! This is a very short prequel to the second book in the Stark Security Series. I highly recommend you read this prequel before Broken With You.

Shattered With You - Shattered With You is a fantastic start to the new Stark Security series. I was sucked in at page one of this action packed and suspenseful second chance romance! Quincy and Eliza are two outstanding characters and are absolutely great together. I didn't want the story to end and cannot wait for the next book! Highly recommend!
Broken With You - Loved this book and was totally immersed in the story at page one! I loved Denise and Mason. Their story was suspenseful, action packed, heart breaking, romantic, and just a thrilling read. The first two books in the Stark Security series were five star and I can't wait for the next book!

Loved it! Quincy and Eliza have a shared history. Can they move past their own drama to ensure others are safe? Shattered With You is a fast paced read filled with action, romance and suspense. Many of the Stark players are mentioned and it was fun to read Jamie’s cameo appearance. I definitely laughed out loud.
Julie is clever and this book’s many twists and turns could’ve gone poorly if it weren’t for her carefully worded scenes. She made everything seem so effortless and kept me intrigued from start to finish.

Honestly I think the sample catfished me into buying the books. This author is all over the place and puts way to much into describing things. Also Lorenzo going all protective about Eliza to Quincy makes literally no sense when hours earlier Eliza tried reaching out to Lorenzo and he never messaged or called her back. Like wtf you all of a sudden care. Overall waste of money.

Great new find for me
I enjoy the protector romance genre so finding this author is a gold mine! I was already a good way into the first book before realizing this is part of an ongoing series. So now I am going to get the ones I missed out on. I can't wait to see how it all began.

Sexy As Sin
It's been a while since I delved into the Kenner world, and I've fallen behind, much to my shame. I've definitely made up for lost time with this handy little threesome of books.

Very violent and brutal series. The level of betrayal and depravity is horrifying. I stopped after the first two books. With all the recent events going on in the world, I read as an escape from it. Not sure who enjoys reading about this level of sickness and brutality.

I am so glad I selected this trilogy, as I am totally enthralled with the agents of Shark Securities. After I read this book, I continued reading the rest of the series and look forward to Book 6.

Wonderful Collection
I've read these books as singles, but how wonderful to have the collection, and there isn't a bad book in the set. Read it, you won't be sorry.
