Rate this book
Use natural light like a photographic artist! A truly glamorous fashion or "beauty" picture often needs an exotic setting, and that means meeting the challenges of outdoor photography, from the sun's brightness to overhanging clouds. Control the light, add to it, block it off, or reflect it to create the right alluring look with the help of expert advice and hundreds of magnificent, high-quality images in both color and black-and-white. Here's the whole process of conducting a fashion shoot, from the choice of location to the time of day and techniques employed. Professionals offer tips and explanations, and their setups appear in easy-to-follow diagrams. There's a wealth of different ways to manipulate and artificially enhance the light to create a mood, flatter the subject, and catch the eye. The broad range of styles drawn from editorial, commercial, and personal portfolios will prove invaluable to any photographer.

Good. Seems to have been written by a non-writer, or translated from aother language, though; there are a lot of very awkward passages.
