This is a good continuation of the Zodiac Guardians series. The relationships are the strongest part of the story in my opinion. The interaction between Brielle and Cassandra really propels the plot along. An old threat resurfaces and is neutralized in time for a more immediate threat to come along. Can we please get Tristan to stop being an idiot? That is all I ask.

Book three and it’s every bit as exciting and enthralling as the previous two. The fight between good and evil carries on and we have an asteroid on a collision course with earth, just another day in the life of the zodiac guardians. Action filled, there’s betrayal, there’s hurt, there’s forgiveness and there’s even a little romance and I loved it.

The fight continue between supernatural good and evil with the stakes getting higher is exciting, this battle focusing on world annihilation as a threat of epic proportions threatens to destroy in just one swoop. The story flow was awesome and effortless with everything tying together seamlessly, I like how it focused on forgiveness, courage and second chances. As always the different character perspectives are very much appreciated.
Our new member to the series is the complicated Cassandra, her introduction into the series is harsh and cruel but slowly secrets about her life unfold revealing the horrid truth she’s been hiding from everyone. Trapped in a vicious cycle of anger and pain, I adore her character growth as she finds her way back to her true self and worth as a person.
Tristan is growing as the leader of the group continuing to learn and put his focus on the team to train and have them stay strong working together. I like how deeply Tristan cares for all his new family members and his dedication to them in whatever form is needed, wether its for protection, support or leadership.
Jareth has acclimated to his new living situation nicely, he’s more open and trusting with his new family. The relationship he shares with Tristan is very brotherly love and his growing romance with Veronica has blossomed into newer intense sweet heights.
Brielle is the ever sweet and loyal trust worthy member of the team, her determination to not give up and grow into a more confident strong character is encouraging to read about. Brielle helps her new Zodiac family members in any way she can contribute giving comforting support and positive optimism to bring morals up and keeping hope alive.
The suspenseful romance is torturous but addicting to read about, how the main couple try to find a way to be around one another as friends without stepping over the very fragile line they continually dance around. Their connection is undeniable and only growing in it’s intensity making things with the group more tense.
The supporting characters are intense! Some are horribly awful to read about but the thought of karmic justice possibly happening soon will be satisfying. Also frustrating is how one of the supporting characters Jack is getting so close in his investigation of truths that it feels like it can be all chalked up to a misunderstanding and the thought of a huge possible valuable ally could be created is infuriating but fingers are crossed for resolution in the future.

This extremely talented and brilliant dynamic duo cranks this puppy up, blazing a trail and kicking up dust with this tough as nails block busting bombshell, launching this gem to staggering heights. Temperament and ingenuity in each layer you peel back with every page, your drawn into this tangled web so snug and precise, booting this jewel into the eye of a tempest, bursting it into a tailspin with mind-blowing impacts, secrets unveil, revelations unmasked and pacts pledged, putting our characters through their paces testing them in ways they could have never anticipated, hurling this bad boy to life spectacularly. The characters are complex, genuine and original with traits and qualities that balance and blend, with amazing depth and diversity, adding enough spice for an extra kick. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and vivid descriptions, creating a colorful backdrop that so rich and lively as though you can just reach out and touch it. Redeeming Cassandra
Cassandra is an angry girl, but behind all that anger lay true vulnerability and unimaginable power. What happens when her vulnerability is exposed and when her power is unleashed? Cassandra’s anger at Brielle is completely unreasonable and without merit. However, since Cassandra is a Zodiac Heir, the two must work together. How could the Zodiac Heirs turn the tide and convince Cassandra of the truth? Their task won’t be an easy one, and the entire planet is in peril. I enjoyed this action-packed book and would recommend it to those who like stories with superheroes that must beat unimaginable odds. This book does not stand alone. You will want to read Libra Ascending and Capricorn Conjured before this one. This is a complete story, but not all the Zodiac Heirs are yet found. I look forward to the next book.

Cassandra is everything I hoped a Leo lead would be: bold, stubborn, loyal, and burning with emotion. Watching her fight her own anger while trying to live up to impossible expectations hit home. The way she’s written—torn between wanting to shine and fearing she’ll burn too bright—made her instantly relatable.
The authors nailed the emotional push-and-pull here. There’s passion, heartbreak, redemption, and just enough humor to keep it from being too heavy. And the way the team dynamics evolve? Chef’s kiss. You can feel them growing into a real family, scars and all.
This one sealed it for me—I’m all in for the Zodiac Guardians series. It’s like mythology meets superhero saga meets raw human emotion.

Leo Rising is the third book in the Zodiac Guardians series, by Tamar Sloan and Tricia Barr, which will be 12 books in total.
Since the accident at the orphanage, Cassandra has been doing everything she can to control her emotions and keep the anger in. Because of this she forces herself to do everything perfectly, and she succeeds quite well. There is only one thing, or rather a person, that always manages to get her out of control and that is Brielle. When Cassandra comes into contact with her stone she feels something she has never felt before and is in danger of losing control. But this allows the Zodiac heirs to confirm their suspicion. Cassandra is one of the heirs and the strongest they have yet discovered. But when Tristan suddenly has a vision, they must do everything they can to convince Cassandra of being a Zodiac heir. What did Tristan see in his vision? Can they convince Cassandra? What will await the heirs?
Where in Capricorn Conjured the battle against Chardis was in the background, the battle is fiercer than ever in Leo Rising. The story is full of adventure, emotions and tension. Cassandra knows very well what her powers are and what she can do with them, therefore she has always done her best to hide them. Her control over the gift prevents her from being completely herself, and she also has a very strict father at home. I was able to place myself well in Cassandra and because of this I really empathized with the story.
Tamar Sloan and Tricia Barr each know how to work out the different characters well and, despite the changing narrative characters, they manage to maintain a good balance and a nice pace. I was completely sucked into the story and before I knew it I finished the book.
Although part of the story is already known by the title, I was very surprised by the course of the story in Leo Rising. Partly due to Tristan’s vision, the story slowly builds up to the spectacular end and then ends with a cliffhanger. I am very curious what the next volumes will bring for the heirs and I cannot wait for the fourth volume Taurus Divided to be released at the beginning of May.

LOVE IT!!
The thing about doing reviews on a series is - I don't like to give away what has happened in previous the books. So we have the first three Guardians and we have the backstory. This book brings to light the fourth Guardian in a mess of betrayal, misunderstanding, fear, hurt, and forgiveness. Some bonds are strengthened and some are weakened as the team figures out how to deal with an asteroid set on destroying Earth. And that's that. The fifth book releases May 1!

Brielle and Cassandra are still at odds even though Brielle keeps trying to talk to her. Jareth and Veronica are totally in love. Tristan still thinks he has to wait for the other Gemini Twin for his soulmate. The group comes together only when a meteor is on a collision course with Earth. Jack is still after Tristan. This story was so good I could not put it down. It contains plenty of action, some romance, and ends in a cliffhanger. Highly recommended.

I'm just going to agree with the other reviewers in that this is a great series. A real page turner that's very hard to put down. The characters are developing very well and the story continues and just keeps going. Hard to wait for the next book but hanging in there with baited breath.

I’m liking this series. This particular book is focused on Cassandra. Each zodiac heir has their own unique powers and individuality to bring to the table, which makes their story more interesting. The main characters are likable and relatable, and the storyline had a nice flow to it, keeping me entertained.

Another amazing read in this series you get drawn in and kept reading. You’re taking on he characters journey the series just keeps getting better and better. I’m really glad I took a chance on this series and these authors. I’m looking forward to reading more from them

This book was always going to fiery with Cassandra and her powers. Lots of action and drama absolutely fantastic. Loved it. This series keeps delivering a fantastic storyline and characters.

Excellent series,action galore. Although not a stand alone story,it fits perfectly where it needs to be in the series. I am an Honest ARC reviewer Cassie rox. This series keeps getting better read all 3 ,and awaiting number 4 . enjoy i did.

Book 3 packs a punch as the 4th Zodiac Guardian is found. With Chardis planning total annihilation of Earth to flush out the Zodiac Guardians, it will take the 4 known guardians to save mankind.

Wow!
This book in the series was an edge of your seat, nailbiting, out of this world adventure! I can't stop reading these books each one gets better than the last. If you like sci fi fantasy with a little romance then go out and grab these books. You won't be sorry.

What a fantastic series of stories. Hard to write a review and not give away the series or story. Full of action and suspense throughout the story. What a wonderful group of youngsters.

This series just keeps getting better and better! Another guardian is found and I surely wasn’t seeing this happen, but love this story!
I picked up this book and could not put it down, the storyline is growing so fascinating as each new book comes along! Leo definitely is the fiery lion as suggested by the zodiac sign and she grew so much in this book, I really like her now. Not so much in previous books, but now she is one I’m rooting for.
I can’t wait for the next book to come along, as I know I will want to devour it too and find out more about these brave teens!
