Such beautiful illustrations!! I really can't get enough! Beautiful clothing, beautiful people, amazing scenery. I love this Manhwa! And she put a Panda in the story!! Bwahahahaha! I LOVED it! And then comments on it in the end comics! She's got a great sense of humor. I lived jumping back to see what happened in the past. This volume makes a lot more sense and was easier to follow than the last few I think she is starting to bring everything together.

The best one yet. Stuff actually happened, I understood it, and actually wanted to know what happens next. I feel like it's finally picking up.

Such a great underrated manhwa, people really should read it. The illustrations are simply beautiful, such detail it almost hurts to look at it all. The story is very addictive but beware some parts can be very slow, and confusing at times too. But the characters are very beautiful, the main girl Soah is very pretty and I must admit her love interests are quite good looking also. I need to get the next volume really quick!

This volume took me a lot longer to get through because it just couldn’t keep my attention. There were a number of plot twists that threw me for a loop, but I’m getting kind of bored of the Emperor and Nakbin storylines. It was quite refreshing towards the end of the volume to meet Maui’s father and learn more about the curse, but I’m ready for the story to get back to Soah and Mui.

This was actually a pretty good volume. I understood who everyone was and could follow what was going on. There were even some interesting developments in the story as far as answers to questions I've had. I will continue to stick with this series.

fantasy casting for the tv show:
Lee Jun Ki as Mui
Shin Min Ah as Soah (because i want to see her in costume)
Han Ye Seul as Nakbin (because one of the first kdramas i ever saw was Fantasy Couple, and i've never forgotten her in that)
Shin Dong Wook as Huye
Ha Ji Won as Mura (a bit of a waste in this role, but think of the intensity Ha would bring)
Uhm Jung Hwa as Seo Wang Mo (a diva to play a diva, right?)
Lee Sun Gyun as Tae Eul Jin In (again, something of a waste, but wouldn't he do an awesome evil scientist?)
Song Joong Ki as the Emperor

i only realised after i'd thought way too much about this that Lee Jun Ki and Shin Min Ah are due to star together in Arang and the Magistrate very shortly. i'll be waiting, computer at the ready, when that show starts broadcasting, for sure.

Soah has been swept away to the Moon where she meets Dong-Wang-Gong, Mui’s father. She’s not sure she believes the man at first and for his part Dong-Wang-Gong is so clueless about humans he’s not even sure of her gender. When she eventually learns to trust him some, Dong-Wang-Gong shows her Mui’s past and the curse that’s been laid upon him in hopes Soah can break the curse.

Meanwhile back in the Emperor’s palace Habaek is dealing with the Emperor’s machinations and the resurrected, sort of, Nakbin, his first human love. However when Habaek tells Nakbin he’ll do right by her but he’s really in love with Soah now, things do not go well and end in a bloody cliffhanger.

At least the story has become understandable again and the art is very pretty if nothing else.

One star especially for dong wang!

We are introduced to dong wang and OMGGGG! HE IS SUCH A CUTIEEEEEEE! Aw, man, from the outside he looks all strict and noble and wise and self-righteous but he’s actually a COMPLETE DORK! Also, a real softie, nice and a genuinely likeable character. I swear to god if he dies…!!!

On one side, habaek is wavering, on the other, wang mu is here. And for the life of me I can’t figure out the red string thing; is his connected to nakbin or soah?

Also I don’t get why everyone is blindly shipping habaek and soah except for the fact that they’re the MC’s? I need reasons!

In other news, it’s gonna be the emperors ‘royal’ bday soon. Of course he’s throwing a bash and of course mui has to stay.

It's like a drawn out korean soap opera, where apparently the gods in their heaven must be very bored, they all have one track minds/storylines like a broadway musical. I wish the storyline had been more complex, I get frustrated at the lack. I'll probably read the whole run, though.

This series is pretty good. The capricious gods trope is making the story more interesting, beyond a romance. I don't like drawn out, tortured romances, but the in-fighting amongst the gods adds another layer. The artwork is beautiful too.
