Take You by MV Ellis is book 4 in the Boys of Trinity Hall Series. This is the story of Rose, Kayne and Fox. I have read the previous books which added to my enjoyment of this one, but this is a standalone book. Rose is the new girl at this college because she is trying to get away from her past. Rose meets Kayne and they end up being friends. Kayne is best friends (really brothers) with Fox which leads them to do most things together. But Fox isn't playing well with Rose. This does end in a cliffhanger to continue their story in the next book 'Make You'. Enjoyed this page turning read and can't wait for the next installment.

'Take You' is the fourth part of the 'Boys of Trinity Hall' series by M.V. Ellis. Told in the perspective of three people , I absolutely loved this MMF Bully Romance!
This book introduces a few new characters , and is a duet within the series. It ends in a cliffhanger and was one hell of a ride!! This book was a lot intense and suspenseful than the rest of the book. At first I was a bit confused about the storyline but once I got what was going on , boy did I enjoy it!!
Kayne and Fox are best friends and almost brothers. They had the best interactions that had me laughing so hard and I loved it so much!! Rose is the girl who is trying the get on with her life. Getting stuck between two boys is the last thing she wants , but as soon as she meets Kayne , she becomes friends with him because of his charming personality.
But when Fox enters the mix , things get very complicated. There are things that Rose took which were meant to be Fox's. And now he is out to make her pay. Soon Rose is stuck between a boy who is her friend and one who won't stop until he destroys her. But the problem is not choosing one of them. The problem is that she wants both of them.
That ending was such a punch to the jaw for me!! The best cliffhanger ever! I just can't wait for the next book! A definite recommendation to all the dark Romance lovers out there who are addicted to themes like MMF Romance and Bully High School Romance.

Since this is a basically a duet you are going to expect a cliff hanger and man oh man what a cliffy that was to be left on the edge of. You will never ever see the end coming and the plot will thicken. This is the first book I have read in this series and it will make you want to go back and read the first three books but I didn't feel like I was lost. I was focused on this story. In this story you meet Kayne and Fox. These two are the best of friends. Close like brothers and they are a hilarious duo. Then enters the beautiful Rose who has just transferred to their college with the help of some shared fellowship funds the Fox desperately needs himself. Rose is escaping her old life and is not Tabitha and trying to move on the best she can She is new to the college and guarded but Kane works his magic and it isn't long till these two are friends and they have some smoking hot chemistry. Add in Fox and things really do get even more smoking hot and they enter territory they have not been in before. This book is so good and the good new is the next one releases soon so we will not have to wait long to see what is going to happen

OMG what a mind f$%& I mean this one had me on the edge of my seat and had me reading like a crazy woman because I needed to know what was next. I mean just when I thought I had it figured out hell no it was something else. I mean Kane, Fox, and Rose kept me on a roller coaster ride. I have to say that I will be reading the other books in the series even though you don't have to but I want to because these characters were amazing so I know the other books will be the bomb.
I can't wait to read the next book because that ending was just so not right I mean a huge cliffhanger.

Wow ! This story was intense! This author never ceases to amaze me with her story telling. Fox Rose and Kane’s story is dark and twisted and oh boy what a cliffhanger at the end ! This book is a intense dark suspenseful steamy read it’s gritty it’s raw and it’s storytelling at it’s finest! You better hold on tight because your in for one wicked ride !

Oh my dayz. This is a superb read. I started this one night and ended up staying up until the wee hours to finish it as I couldn’t put it down.
The three main characters Kane, Rose and Fox had me in a head spin. I need more!!!!
Although you don’t need to read the previous books I loved this so much I’m gonna have to go back and read the previous books- yes it is that good.
So looking forward to jumping into the next book.

Talk about angst and passion and heartache and anxiety. This had me going from one emotion to the other without skipping a beat. I couldn't put it down. I was only disappointed with the ending because why do I have to wait? I need the next one now because oh boy was I left at the edge of my seat.

Well.... it’s taken me a while to get over the shock of that ending.
To say I was gobsmacked would be an understatement!
This book is absolutely - without a doubt - devilishly delicious.
Steamy, brutal, heartbreaking... all the things that make a fantastic and gripping read.

Kane and Fox are friends and they are plotting to get revenge against Rose. When she meets Kane, sparks fly will he still follow his friend in his plot for revenge? Fast-paced read with lots of emotion, drama and steam. A good read.

BOOM!!! Here we go! I did not see that ending coming.
Talk about a plot thickens.
Take You is Book 4 in the Trinity Hall series and I have loved these guys Kane and Fox; they have been great side characters in previous books. These two friends are so tight, close just like brothers, and I’ve laughed at their antics along the way. Here we have Fox in a situation that Kane is only too willing to help him with. It involves the beautiful Rose who has just transferred to their college with the help of some shared fellowship funds that Fox desperately needs himself.
Rose is escaping her old life as Tabitha, trying to move forward, she is new to the college and very guarded but Kane manages to work his magic and befriend her, there is serious chemistry here and these two get hot and heavy then with the introduction of Fox things turned even more heated, steamy menage territory. All part of the ingenious plan, except for the part where Kane becomes enamored by her. Feelings he tries his hardest to reject through loyalty to his best friend.
“There on my knees before her, on the floor of the shower, with the water cascading over me, I was the one who handed over my soul.”
“I was going to hell, and I was okay with that, given that Rose had already ridden me all the way to heaven.”
This was another of MV Ellis cleverly written books, I always look out for her creative venue names and I love the banter between the friends, Xavier was still in fine form.
Right from the prologue I was invested and intrigued. There is a twist to this bully romance, and we see a more calculating darker side of Fox, one that keeps you on edge, wondering where it leads. I’m really looking forward to the sequel as there is one hell of a cliffhanger.

Take You is a part of a Duet that is considered book 4 in the Boys of Trinity Hall series. Familiar characters like Cavier, Bear, and Drew make appearances though this book focuses on Kane and Fox. Kane and Fox had plan so Fox can get revenge on Rose and get her to leave Trinity Hall so that she loses her part of the fellowship money that was supposed to be split by Fox and Rose. Kane goes along with Foxes’ scheme as Fox and Kane are as close as brothers and in some ways closer. Fox came up with the plan and he made sure if Plan A didn’t work then they would go with Plan B and If Plan B didn’t work then they would go with Plan C and so on up Plan Z. What the guys didn’t take into account is the instant attraction Kane and Fox feels for Rose. The chemistry between the guys and Rose is off the charts and very explosive. They wanted her to want them and to go along with them and but they didn’t count on feelings. The one thing that Fox didn’t plan on is what happens and things go side ways. Fox didn’t even tell Kane the full plan and causes the guys to get into an argument. The ending is a major cliffhanger. The kind that makes you want the next book instantly. If you don’t want to wait then it’s best to wait till both books in the duet is out. Also, if you have triggers then this is not the book for you. Other than that I highly recommend Take You. I know I for one can’t wait to start reading Make You which is the next book. Hope you enjoy this book as much as I do.

Book 4 of the series; Book 1 of a duet … Ends on a cliffhanger 3.5 stars
Fox and Kane have been best friends for six years. Two brothers from different mothers, they’re thick as thieves. Rose has transferred to their college in the middle of her degree. It was an intriguing mystery as to why the men targeted Rose in spite of the premise that initially set their campaign of harassment into motion. The two men were very slick in their approach and execution. It was very convincing. When Fox’s endgame was finally revealed I was disappointed with the reasons for his vendetta, along with his expectations for Rose’s atonement.
I found this story very slow to get going. At times I felt that I was missing something, then realized (belatedly) that this was not book one in a new series, but rather book four in an ongoing one. While this story can stand alone, there were appearances by characters from the previous books and references to prior events that held no meaning for me. I got very little from those occurrences. It was often difficult to identify which character was speaking as there were few ‘I said’ or ‘he said’ or even proper names. I had to backtrack frequently to determine the speaker which disrupted the flow of the story. There was plenty of drama, torment, public humiliation, secrets, duplicity, along with some steamy encounters including ménage.

4 Vengeful Stars! Hold on tight, this book will take you on quite a ride!
Fox is a smart guy with looks that would make anyone melt. He holds a big secret and he's looking to get revenge. Kane is his best friend and when you talk about ride or die, that's Fox and Kane. One does one thing, the other follows along. Rose is a new girl in town, looking to escape her past, she's a quiet girl who keeps to herself. But when she falls into Fox and Kane's radar everything gets intense.
I won't go into too much detail... but I will say this book is packed full of secrets, revenge and steamy passion. It's a book that will be hard to put down and will keep you on your toes. While this is the 4th book in the series, I had no issues following along!! Can't wait to read more!

Ho... lee... wow... If you love a book with bullying, revenge, angst, and suspense, then do NOT sleep on this book.
Fox is out for revenge. He wants some serious revenge for something traumatic that happened to someone he loves. He sets his sights on Rose when she shows at his school threatening his half of the Fellowship money. The level of loyalty in this book was off the charts. The loyalty of Kane to Fox and the loyalty of Rose to her little sister.
I absolutely loved the relationship between Kane and Fox in this book. I did not give this book 5 stars because it took me a while to get into the book. I found the beginning stages of Rose and Kane's relationship a bit bland and awkward, but once I got into it I could not put it down. The mistake I made with this book was finishing it right before I went to bed. I could not go to sleep because my mind was still turning.
I cannot wait for the second book in this duet. I HAVE to know what happens!!

Oh my God! I swear this author is trying to kill me!!
The evil, evil woman. What she puts her characters up to. This story will leave you hanging and utterly breathless! Damn you MV Ellis!!
Though this is the fourth book in The Trinity Hall series, and the first of a duet with the fifth story to come, it is essentially a standalone.
But you will definitely get a better feel for this world and these characters, by having already the first three stories. And that in itself is no chore. They are all stellar reads.
This series is compelling and mind-blowing in it's boldness. The characters are ruthless in their goals, with their love and how they choose to take it.
And in this instalment 'Take' is exactly what this story is all about.
They take liberties, possession, revenge and love.
This is a dangerous and electric dance between three intriguing impassioned young people whose interactions send such vivid sparks off the page, it can only end in one way...
A gut wrenching cliff hanger that will have you cursing this author and clawing for the conclusion.
Don't say I didn't warn you! Enjoy!!

“ Hello and welcome to the show”-Fox
I cant even with this book.. what started out as competing for the same scholarship fund turns into something so completely different.. this book is one of the duet and the cliffhanger will blow your mind..
This book reminds me of riding a roller coaster.. it starts out rather slow and the climb is intense because you know something big is coming and then the drop happens and just can’t even be prepared for it.. parts of this book had my heart pounding and racing .....so strap in and enjoy the ride ..

Fox just doesn’t want to show Rose an ounce of forgiveness or sympathy.. he doesn’t care his mind is too clouded with revenge and justice .. Kane has been Foxs best friend for six years and even he can’t grasp the depths of Foxs revenge plan ..
I need book two.. I can’t even with this book ,. I really hope what happened at the end isn’t what I think it is..

The Boys of Trinity Hall are full of surprises which sometimes makes me squeamish. Fox’s fellowship is being threatened and, in his quest, to find out who is getting part of the funds, he finds someone from his past that left a mark on his spirit and soul. Enlisting his best friend Kane, he executes his plan of revenge. Rose has transferred to Heathcote and is working hard to keep her grades up while trying to fund school. When images from her past take over one of her class lectures, she isn’t sure what to think. When she literally runs into Kane, she finds herself making her first friend on campus. Kane is focused on the plan with Fox but his interactions with Rose don’t fit the girl Fox describes. I’m on a huge cliff from the ending of this story and anxiously needing book 2 so that my heart can know what is instore for Fox, Kane and Rose. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

HOLY HELL! Take You has become my favorite in the Boys of Trinity Hall, hell, out of all the books I've experienced by this brilliant author. There's so much going on in this story that I'm unwilling to get into detail because frankly?! No one should be wasting their time reading reviews when they can be experiencing all this goodness for themselves. Fox, Kane, and Rose have quite the journey, and I did NOT see many things coming, especially the epic, out of the blue twist that had my f-bombs dropping out of control. So, not only are those twists crazy intense, but they had me on the edge of my seat anxiously waiting to see what came next. Oh, and the heat is out of control with this story too. It all leads to a mother of a cliffy so I'm dying inside as I NEED THE NEXT BOOK NOW! Buckle up, and join me on this crazy train by hitting those one click buttons! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I've said it before, but I'mma say it again, this is my grittiest, angstiest, most rollercoastery (and yes I know that's not a word) book yet. Seriously, there's heartache and tears, and intrigue and revenge aplenty. This hot and spicy quick read sure packs a punch.
Not only that, but it's a duet, so you get double the fun - Make You, the second part, and the conclusion to this epic series, releases on September 29th, so you have just enough time to read and digest take you, recover from the onslaught, and then dive on back in for part two. You're going to need the little break, trust me.

Dark, gritty and utterly twisted revenge story!
WTF! I was not ready for how dark, angsty, gritty and angry this story was going to be. I was not ready for the emotional rollercoaster ride that Fox and Kane were going to take me on. I was not ready for the tears, the heartache or the pain. AND I am damn sure I was not ready for that freaking ending!!!

WTF! I was not ready for how dark, angsty, gritty and angry this story was going to be. I was not ready for the emotional rollercoaster ride that Fox and Kane were going to take me on. I was not ready for the tears, the heartache or the pain. AND I am damn sure I was not ready for that freaking ending!!!

I feel like I probably should have taken time before writing this review to settle my brain and make myself calm down from what I just read. So if I ramble or things don’t make complete sense I apologize but blame MV Ellis for the incredible book that I think broke me.
I was not ready for this book. I may have thought I was but the amazing craziness of this book was too much but in the best way possible. You get hooked from the beginning and I remember thinking this book definitely had the possibility of being great. Well it was so much more than that.
The twist and turns and amazingly written book left me with my mouth hanging open and in desperate need for the next book! Do not make the mistake of passing on this book, the only downside to the whole thing is it ended with a cliffhanger which my poor heart couldn’t take. I will definitely be looking into her other books because this was the first I read.

M. V. ELLIS DOES IT AGAIN. Take you is another great book in the Boys of Trinity Hall. I love how this series revolves around the guys wanting revenge. So here we have Fox who is smart, good looking, and harbors a secret. Then you have Kane who has been friends with Fox for a while. Kane is a ride or die friend. However, his friendships seems to be pushed to the limits in Take You. This book slowly gives you bits and pieces of the past and why the revenge plot is in motion. Lets meet Rose, she is shy and wants to keep to herself. However, one day her world turns upside down. So when she meets Kane its an instant attraction and fast burn. After she meets Kane everything changes. This is one intense, and mysterious book and I cannot wait for the next because the ENDING KILLED ME!!

This is the first book in the Trinity Hall duet and cannot be read as a standalone. This is the fourth book in the Trinity Hall series. I have not read the other three books, and when other characters and events were mentioned, I found myself wishing I knew the backstory. (I will definitely read the other 3 books after this).

Fox and Kane are ride and die besties and when one is threatened the other levels up in the game of revenge. The two are pitted against newbie Rose when she transfers colleges and land in their orbit. They have a history that's been festering for years and Fox needs his revenge. Poor Rose is just trying to keep her head down and overcome her past. With these supreme bullies that not happening. Kane, Rose and Fox how will this end? A scholarship award awakens this triangle of love and hate. Rose is about to receive a share in a scholarship she needs to remain at Trinity Hall but unfortunately for her 50% of the award belongs to and needs to remain with Fox. In enters Kane to assist his best friend in retaining the award with a Fox (not Xavier) approved plan. All hell starts when Fox enters the scene!
I have loved this series before it was even created. Yeah since Xavier Cross walked from the pages of MV Ellis' mind into Zed's tattoo shop. So sad it will soon end. Yes there is more to come. So worth the read.

Wow, this story is intense...and it isn’t even over! Fox finds out the other fellowship student that has to split his fellowship grant is a person from his past...Rose/Tabitha. Fox has it out for her and wants to make her life worth ending. Kane is Fox’s bestie, has his back and will do anything for him. It’s a slow dance of humiliation and attraction as they enact their revenge on Rose. The author doesn’t reveal much if anything of the true reason for Fox’s actions until the end. The reveal is spectacular in a Cygnus fashion with a twist end I didn’t see coming. This part of the series is filled with intrigue, drama, and a bit of romance in between. I can’t wait to read the second half of the duet.

This is the 4th book in this amazing series and is the 1st in a duet. Kane, Rose, and Fox have a past and while Kane and Fox know who Rose is, she does not recognize them until an unconventional revenge plot does not go to plan. Fox knows what he wants which is revenge, and he is determined that nothing will stand in his path of destruction. This is a well written tale which is intense, raw, gritty, emotional, intrigue, and with secrets, revenge, surprises, twists, which all lead to an addictive page turner and a steamy read. The ending of this book is mind-blowing, and I cannot wait to read the 2nd past of this amazing story. I highly recommend this gifted authors’ work for all.

Wow....MV Ellis you are seriously killing me!! I just love this series I can't believe the cliff hanger ending.....I literally had to 're read that last page over and over......My brain was trying to catch up with what I think surely can't be the ending? Seriously can't wait for the next book, I need to know what happens next.
I just love Fox, Kane and Rose and how the story/relationship has been developing between them. I also really like how the author has handled some dark and difficult subject matter in the storyline.
