Rating: 5/5- Magnificent! I could re-read this ABO novel over and over again.
The MC was so kickass and and the ML was just a fluffy ball of fluff. The plot was simple and I think the assumptions and naivety of both characters were well plotted.
It’s easy to feel frustrated because of how the ML feels and interprets emotions and interactions, versus the MC. However, the thing about this novel that really makes it stand out, is how the MC never feels sorry for himself, he never chews his words and he is incredibly true to himself. In many ways I sometimes felt he’s such a respectable omega character that is non-existent in ABO.
This novel also respects the human nature behind Alpha and Omega, instead of letting just the feral beast nature stand out. The Alpha doesn’t abruptly change his character and remains gentle and loving , consistently and the Omega stays true to himself, irrespective.
The villainous characters were also not horrendous, but well written. I truly could not find faults with this novel, except that I wish it could have been longer. (I am indeed looking forward to the spin-off)
This has to be my favorite omegaverse novel, ever and I will probably re-read it.

Frustrating? Yeah
Smut? Good but does not help to give the book more than 3 stars, in my opinion.
I feel like I'm watching some typical early 2010s drama, where the MC and FL or ML, in this case, can't communicate properly and have lots of misunderstandings. Sorry, I have grown past the stage of thinking it's cute.
(IMO) the only redeeming quality of this book is probably how devoted, sweet, and considerate ML is. I have been reading so many Danmei recently where ML is usually cold and has so much Alpha vibes. This book is like breaking the stereotypes where the Omega is more Alpha than the Alpha and vice versa.
Yes, I understand the pride and how independent/ strong MC is but that does not mean I condone his actions. I felt that he was so selfish, inconsiderate, and insensitive MOST of the time. There are some instances when he tries his best to please/ surprise ML as well but... most of the time, ugh.
Re-read value? If I'm desperately bored, maybe.

É a dinâmica abo que mais gostei de ler.
O atrevido, sincero e forte, sem se deixar pelos estereótipos de O fofo, gentil e delicado. Enquanto o A é o totalmente contrário ao estereótipo de A. Ambos se complementam bem.
Um ponto que gostaria de ressaltar é o consentimento. Na maioria das histórias abo o consentimento é duvidoso, mas aqui o A é "treinado" por seu O, "não significa não" é realmente usando na história principal.
Sobre o extra2: Wang Zhe errou e errou feio ao beber e ter relação com consentimento duvidoso, contudo a atitude dele ao perceber o que fez e as palavras "estupr0 dentro do casamento, ainda é estupr0" mostrou que ele tinha uma consciência de seus erros e isso foi o que me chocou, pois é bem raro algum personagem assumir seu erro e ainda poder falar assim. não sei bem se consegui colocar meus pensamentos em ordem, mas é isso.

I liked Jiang ShaoYan; a fierce but trouble making omega. Wang Zhe; a shy, timid puppy Alpha. The shyness of Wang Zhe annoyed me in the beginning but finding out he also got a rough side made not only the chemistry between the two better but also the story.
For such a short book, I found it too smutty (not in the mood for smut atm.) The reason that I didn't really like this is because everything felt flat. It felt superficial in every way, the writing, the characters. I don't really read a lot of ABO but the explanation of the pheromones or why Wang Zhe lacked Alpha pheromones made sense, in a way.
The translator at the end of the book started to put their own shitty opinions in the middle of paragraphs and ruined the flow of the story. But at least the cover art is adorable.

My first experience reading an ABO novel, and it took me a while to get used to chucking science out the window. I mean, there's only so much you can do to suspend your disbelief, but the author seems to have written it well. Ended up convincing myself that the protagonist's biology must be like the combination of an intersex human and a bird. I've tried reading something similar to this and I just couldn't, so I was surprised to find myself enjoying it. You just need to probably finish the first ten chapters to realize that the protagonist (who seems to have a nasty personality) has some semblance of self-awareness because he really struck me as mean spirited at first.

ABO fofissimo sobre um casal de O que parece A e A que parece O KKKKK. O ML é *chef kiss* perfeito 😭💕, um dos melhores alfas que eu já li, o ShaoYan é um personagem bem legal, muito bem construído, gosto da personalidade dele também. O romance é leve, fofinho, o plot todo poderia não existir se existisse um diálogo honesto entre eles. Gostei e achei bem gostoso de ler, os extras fizerem meu conceito sobre a obra dar uma caída porque...bom...dubcon né. Poderiam ter substituído aquele extra por um do ShaoYan gravidinho...Enfim, um bom romance ABO de campus, sem muito estresse, e (pelo menos na história principal) totalmente saudável, sem muitos dos clichês chatos de ABO. Recomendo.

pros: cute relationship dynamic and pretty realistic and well developed characters, pacing is great, different approach to the abo trope than a lot of other media with it which is very refreshing and nice, especially with the strong omega mc, extras were cute and sequel also sounds interesting, kid in the third extra but no mpreg god bless
cons: a lot of s*x scenes, mc and ml both had some flaws that annoyed me while reading (ml being a tad too timid/insecure for my personal liking and mc sometimes being very rough)

man i don't even remember the majority of the story bcs it's been quite a while since i last visited this. i remembered rereading bits of it before but well it's just your decent & fluffy story with ABO setting ig?the misunderstanding were pretty much the only downfall of this work though; it's just too exhausting for me to read because proper communication wasn't even a choice for both MC & ML at first and it's quite commendable to see it dragged out for absolutely no good reason. but then again anything aside from that was okay. a tiny bit more than okay, actually.

ligerita, bonita, mi primer acercamiento al ABO jajdka aunque aún me da risa ese universo y me enojan ciertas cosas, en este caso no me arrepiento porque parece que no sigue los estereotipos asignados

Me encantó porque es un omegaverse muy distinto a la regla. Aquí el omega es lo más malvado que hay, mientras que el Alfa parece un cachorro, y esa dinámica me fascinó. Fue refrescante, diferente y lo disfruté muchísimo.
