Tucker had been many things in his long life, but never what he and his wolf wanted most—mate and father. When a group of refugees shows up at the nearby den seeking sanctuary from a deranged alpha, Tucker never expected to scent his mate. His hopes are quickly doused when he discovers his mate isn’t yet of age and shows no signs of even knowing he exists. So he does what he’s done for over a century. He waits.
Flynn lived a happy yet sheltered life until suddenly it’s turned upside down and they’re forced to flee from their home. In a trek that takes over a year, Flynn realizes that there’s a whole new world outside of the small town he grew up in. He’d always been told to trust his fox, but his inquisitive nature has gotten him and his brother into trouble on multiple occasions. Will it now, when the pull to Timber Valley is so strong?
Tucker’s Trouble is the fourth book in the Timber Valley Wolf Pack Series. Because of the continuing story line, these are best read in order. Each book focuses on a different couple, but the backstory is ongoing. This book is intended for adults only as each book contains a fated mate pair, Mpreg, knotting during howly sexy times, and babies. These alphas will do anything for their mates—just read and see.
I have a problem with almost every one of these books, both the den and pack, in that they supposedly have strong family ties throughout, and yet, this is probably the first one where family played much of a role in the story. These books are all so hyper focused on the couple, and sometimes, on the greater story arc, that a lot of normal human interaction either isn't there, or is simply glossed over.
Since the threat to both the den and pack was dealt with, very satisfactorily, in the last book, I was wondering what we would see in these books about Finn and Flynn (and no one would name their twins this). I hope that Finn's book will fill in some details, like what's up with their mom, and are the Fates really coming to visit, and maybe explain what the point of things has been?
To my ratings: A 3,5* is clicked with a 4* but in review marked as 3,5*:
5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow-Away-book like ‘Jesse's Smile’ or ‘Joey’ from Angelique Jurd, ‘Save the the kids’ series from EM Leya, ‘Love’s Tethered Heart’ from C.L. Etta or ‘Liberty’ from Seth King), it's like an A+
4* - very good and will be often reread and is a WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises (like most of Andrew Grey books and Davidson Kings 'Haven Hart'-series) it's like an A
3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few times (most romances where you can enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in hospitals). I can recommend them definitively! It's like an B+
3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader (2-3 times a year), it's like a B
2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time-reader (I wouldn't recommend it heartily, but it was ok) It's like a C-, D
1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an absolute NO-GO). It's like failure in the whole line, dismissed, repeat the class
Your mate is underage. So you wait. Then his fox finds you.
What a wonderful addition to the Timber Valley series. The story continues. This book is funny, passionate, & sexy, with surprises, family, pack & den. Oooh and babies! Tucker has waited a year since scenting his mate. His underage mate. Now, Flynn's fox finds him a few days before he turns 18. Flynn's twin Finn also runs to his mate, Jude. But their story comes next. Fox & wolf. Love, pregnancy hormones, acceptance, and HEA. And driving lessons that will have you laughing. I love this book! You will too. This is a continuation in the series. I recommend reading the previous books in order. You will be glad you did. This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.
Over a century old, Tucker, one of the Timber Valley Pack wolves, finds his mate in the most recent group of Alaskan refugees. H is mate is one of a pair of twin foxes. Unfortunately, his mate is also underage. And his father won't even allow Tucker to speak to him to get to know him. Flynn is days away from his eighteenth birthday when his fox half insists that they run away from Honey Creek to Timber Valley. There he meets a wolf that his fox half recognizes as his mate. Flynn is a total innocent and a bit insecure. Tucker is patient and sweet towards his mate. Just a sweet story. There's nothing evil brewing on the horizon. Just sweet shifter love.
Bjo.
What's not to love about this book? It's a light read and the twins were just really precious (but poor Jude and Tucker). Finn, even if the outgoing twin, has poor self esteem issues, always thinking he's a bother. But we all know the reason why. And why their parents were like that... even if I still have no idea what's up with the mom. Maybe we'll get the answer on the next book because it'll be about Flynn, Finn's twin and Jude’s mate. I will try to patiently wait even if I really want to devour all the books in the series.
Flynn is just so darn sweet and absolutely perfect for Tucker. Tucker & Flynn are absolutely precious and the babies aweee. Completely fell in love with the names. Taylor did it again, her books are so full of love and i didnt wanna put it down. Cant wait to read Jude and Finns next!!😀❤
This is a paranormal queer romance with mpreg, the fourth book in the “Timber Valley Wolf Pack”series which comes after the “Honey Creek Den” series that should be read in order. Tucker has known who his fated mate was for a year now. He waits patiently for Flynn to grow up and scent him. This is simply a sweet story with very little angst.
Oh.My.Fates! Talk about adorable, these two are so good together and I really love it that his fox sought out Tucker, so sweet. I absolutely hate Flynn’s mother! I can’t wait until the next book comes out.
The first thing I have to say about this book is that Flynn was never any trouble to anyone in this book. I didn't like him being referred as such . Otherwise this was a good book and I recommend it to anyone.
This is such a wonderful series. Tucker and Flynn was a great couple to read about. Richard and Jeannie made me wonder about their story and why they kept the twins so close and were so strict. I hope it all comes out in the next one.
I was glad Tucker could finally clam his mate. I really loved this book but wish it was longer as it left a few question un answered. I hope Finns and Judes story will answer the question especially regarding Finn and Flynns parents.
This was such a sweet and heartfelt story. Tucker had found his mate, Flynn, however, Flynn was still underage so he had to wait a year before they could actually mate. The writing was well done and the characters were very endearing. Intriguing and interesting read.
Ah... the twins were so adorable. Still throughly enjoying this world. Trying to get all the books completed asap so I can read some new releases I've been waiting on. I would normally put books on hold and come back but I'm loving all these omegas.
Flynn is an omega Fox, twin to Finn. He is still underage and looking forward to his 18th Birthday. Tucker had scented his mate a year ago and is looking forward to claiming his mate.
Loved this series from the start each book is a great read. Shifter omegaverse trope with a HEA ending and a little bit of magic thrown in . Highly recommended
Loved Flynn and Tucker! I was so happy for Tucker when he could finally meet and claim his mate!! Flynn was truly worth waiting for! Enjoying this series!
The story was wonderful. Errors minimal. Characters loveable and relatable. But 2 questions were always in my mind. Why did Flynn's family have to run from their last Alpha and why was Flynn and Finn's mother so unapproachable? I kept waiting for their last Alpha to show up and cause angst so we'd find out what had happened or at least for Flynn to tell Tucker the story behind their fleeing and neither happened. Along with not a (serious) single clue as to what is up with their mother's behavior.
