When their lies and betrayal surface, I have no choice but to leave.

They’ve broken my heart, but not my spirit.

They think they’ve won. They think they’ve ruined me.

The only thing they’ve done is made me stronger.

With new threats coming in from all sides, I have to silence my enemies. Joining forces with those who wanted to ruin me isn’t easy, but neither am I, despite their best efforts.

I’m right back where I started. On my knees. But this time, it’s for a different reason.

This time, I’m playing to win. This time, they need my silence if they’re going to survive.

Oh man this was good... so angsty, so heartbreaking, so WOW!

Such a wild ride.. everyone had their own plans and their own agendas. The horseman were doing what they thought was right

I still adore Ethan!! Fox is still at the bottom, but slowly making his way to the top. Enzo and Cole are at the midway point. Team Ethan ALL THE WAY!

There are SO many villains in this story. Some are in your face and some are hidden in the shadows. Some who try to be angels are actually doing quite devilish things. Too many secrets and hidden truths to keep count. So many unfinished conversations. So many missed opportunities.

This book was one dark and intriguing rollercoaster of emotions. I hurt for Rosalie. She had barbs coming from all directions. I don't think some were intentional, but they still broke her. She is a badass though to put up with it all... and for what?

I thought the cliffhanger in book 1 was a tough one to read... but this one, oh my gosh!!! I need book 3 NOOOOWWWWWW!

Another cliffy

April 2021 guys . she wants me to try to retain these books in my mind till April .🙄 to no fault of mine ima gonna admit that ain't going to happen .
Should have Been done. Writers your killing your money dragging these things out into more than 2 books.
This was really dragged out and repeated the same things over and over . guys begging her to come back while still cheating ( technically) for whatever reason . mob boss son for real would have just taken care of the problem. They were kinda wimpy and main MC was WEAK. Then to find out next book is in April???!!
Yea ..no ill be forgot all about this series in less than a week ,except to get mad .. Cause come on .wow repeative lines for filler.or there at the end just sex instead of a action or meaningful conversation.
Spoiler
Who in their right mind makes a deal with a guy that gave you a date rape drug and was very abusive to you and threatened your best friend? And the bullies saying they were just having harmless fun blackmailing girls and keeping a diary of there times and very personal things about this. And leading them on??? Yea so at last she tried to redeem them but you lost me at the diary and them acting.like no one got hurt and that they should not be punished ..cause the girls could say no and nothing would happen? But there was blackmail.🙄
These guys were scum that I'd pass by at school and not think twice about them .but then again I was always cynical.🤔

Oh, this was so good. Such a terribly, tormented, angsty read. Rosalie wants the four horsemen, but she's made a deal with the devil, and he truly is evil.

Although she goes some way to squeezing herself out of it, the devil finds out, and when that happens, all hell is going to let loose.

Is there anyway to come back from this? I have to say I felt for the heroine. She's wedged herself in such a nasty place here. Fingers crossed she can somehow get herself out of it... that cliffhanger ending has me bitting my nails!!

ETA August 2021: Been discussing this series with a friend this week and i never read the last book and thank god for it. This was my first RH series when only the first book was out, but the angst, the things that happen and the trauma that occurs throughout isn’t something I’d recommend now. The writing isn’t bad, but the me of now does not like or care for the OW drama in this series, the reasoning why the guys want her, or the trauma that occurs.

———————————————————————————

November 2020:

I had been anxiously anticipating this book since the end of the first one! It definitely took some darker twists and turns then the first one, and some that I definitely wasn’t expecting but that worked out.

I know Rosalie was hurt but I wish that she had just been a tad bit smarter in everything and more communicative. I loved that Ethan got his moment more so than the first one, and I’m hopeful for things to come in the third book with him and her.

Fox is proving to be a little hard to be redeemable for me, mostly because I hate the reasoning behind his grudge of her, and also because I hate that he had to do things with Juliet. But I’m holding out hope for him too!

This series gets better and better with each book. Character development is excellent in this one for all of them, but Rosalie has changed so much it's amazing. Mind you, she does tend to dig her own grave, but it adds to the story wonderfully. I like how different her interactions with all the characters are. Definitely a whole step up the leather compared to the first book.

Dark, twisty, explosive!

It started with a scandalous notebook.

An enemies to lovers romance that is so captivating, so angst-filled, and packed with plot twists I could not put it down!

In Silence teaser

From page 1, I was drawn into one of the most creative reverse harem storylines I had ever come across. Book 1 did not prepare me for the plot turns, the drama in this book. A darker read with a matured Rosie and love interests, Fox, Enzo, Cole, and Ethan, Rosie now is out for retribution. Meanwhile Rosie’s boys are out to recapture her at the same time embattled in drama from their past mistakes. With adversaries on all sides -- at school and internally, along with some mental strife will they reclaim their girl?

I enjoyed this story so much. The plot portrayed each of the characters so individually as to know them personally, to elicit sympathy, compassion, and at times, unbound animosity. Tensions ran high, and I could feel the chemistry between the characters as the story unfolded. The steam was pure fire, palpable compatibility between Rosie and the guys. The story rendered an excellent balance of the individual relationships among the four heroes, as well as creating a foil character between them. And wait until you cross paths with Ian.

The pace of the story was perfect, balance of descriptive prose and dialogue. It was so good in fact that I arrived to the end not realizing it was over, upset that it to be over in fact. What a heck of a cliffhanger. I need more!

Expect the unexpected in this highly original reverse harem love story.

Pretty much picking up where the first book left, this continues in the pov of the FMC Rosalie, with a couple of chapters thrown in with the view of one 9f the MMCs.

It has the same level of writing, in I would still associate it with a YA genre. The scenes are a little steamer this time, and any interactions where Ian is involved makes you want to reach thru the pages and punch the guy.

This book concentrates mostly on Rosalie getting revenge on the boys, even tho you can tell her heart truly isn't in it. But she feels she HAS to do something. But getting involved with Ian was a step that every reader will probably have cringed at.

As the book progressed Rosalies ice wall melts more and she decides to tell the boys that she wants them back.

For their part, they've never stopped fighting for her.

But Ian doesn't want to let her go.... And WONT let her go...

And Juliet has covertly got copies of the videos Fox had on his computer and is blackmailing the boys and Rosalie...... Will she let go so easily?

The cliffhanger is a doozy and leaves you very worried.....

This could change everything......

Wow...this was Just Amazing!

Wow, wow...just wow!!! I don't think I can find the right words to sum up just how brilliant this book is!! I fell in love with these characters in book one and was desperate to start this, the second book....and OMG it hooked me right back in from the first page! ❤
I can't believe everything that happens in this story and I'm really scared for what's going to happen in the next book......I just love these guys so much....Fox, Cole, Ethan and Enzo...four super protective, determined and caring guys all fighting to get Rosalie back...just when you think all is going to be well again...KG Reuss decides to throw a super big bomb at us....which literally left me gobsmacked!! I really just don't know how I am going to cope waiting for the third and final book!!

This is bully romance at its best.....full of angst, suspense and raw emotion!! You do not want to miss it..if you haven't already then you need to start this series now!!
5 huge stars....loved it!!!

Omg!!!!!!

Idk if I want to cry or continue to sit here in stunned silence. This book was even better than the first one. It was extremely intense. I was on edge the entire time. It frustrated me so much! I was annoyed and nervous and upset, I was stressed out. The story had my heart and it was breaking. I'm so invested in these characters and wrapped up in their world. That ending had me messed up for real. With that being said, I'm running to read the next book right now. Wish me luck! 😬😭🙌

K.G. Reuss has bulldozed her way into my top reads so far in 2022. I read this book in less than 24 hours. I literally couldn’t put it down. It captured me from page 1 once again since it picks up from Book 1.

In this one, Rosie is out for revenge against those who did her harm, but still being in love with them throughout.

We’re also introduced to an even bigger villain than in book 1, Ian. This dude is seriously crazy insane, Like not in the good way at all.

My heart is pounding in my chest at this point and I am so disgusted with Ian. What the actual freak is he?!?

If you haven't read this series please do because you're definitely missing out. This is darkly twisted and so different from recent Bully books I’ve read.

I would like to deem K.G.Reuss as a cliffhanger queen because this one is definitely one I didn’t see coming. This story is dark, evil and so hot - I can’t get enough of it. I already have the next book to dive back in and see what’s happening.

A lot was going on this book. Rosalie is getting her revenge for what she found out about the guys and what they did. However, she has more people who try to take from her.
Some parts were hard to read. Some things that Rosalie did, I could not understand.

This book messed me up. The strength and determination with Rosie, and the truths coming out hurt like hell. The guys dynamics changed a little, and seeing their feelings and attitude change was good. Everyone hurts in this book, and there are a lot of parts that are pretty dark. The end of this book will have you holding your breath and wanting more instantly.

Man, the twists and turns were crazy here! It was such a wild ride of emotions the entire time and just when you think you're figuring everything out, *bam* KG hits you with a surprise!

I really love how we have all the guys pov here, as opposed to just Rosie's. And goodness, they are in agony over what they're done to her. Sure it was to protect her, but at what cost? How many hearts will suffer and break with all the secrets and lies being told?

I think Ethan really gutted my heart the most here, partly because he's the one who is so open about his love for Rosie. You know the others love her too, but Ethan is just so pure and good. I love him so much.

I loved how Rosie really rose from the ashes here. She's tired of being pushed around, and although she's literally being held captive by the worst person ever, she's ready to make her guys feel as miserable as she does. And even knowing everything (or at least all this author wants us to know) I'm all here for it!

I will say though, I've never hated a character more than Juliet and Ian. Those two deserve to die a painful horrid death a thousand times over.

I would definitely be aware of all the triggers here, but damn I'm so obsessed with this series!!

Hoooooo my GOD. I'm unhinged, and therefore, cannot cohesively relay my thought on this book.

1. I fucking love Fox. Goddammit, I love everything about him. For some unknown reason, I can't read about him without picturing Archie from Riverdale... Fox & Archie are now synonymous.

2. Just to clarify - ETHAN MASTERS (is that even his last name?), I WILL DIE FOR YOU 🥹🖤

3. I'm not fully sold on Cole yet... Enzo, who?

4. Image every despicable literary villain you can think of, multiple them by 100, and that = Ian
4a. The immense hatred I felt for Ian somehow morphed into a newborn hatred towards Rosie. Like?!?!?! Just kill him bitch. End him. It's literally so simple.

5. Jamie is the worst excuse for a best friend to ever exist. I'm a little annoyed her character hasn't been killed off tbh.

6. CLIFFHANGER 😭😭😭

This is my review for all the books in this series.

KG Reuss is quickly becoming a favorite author of mine. I read Boys Of Chapel Crest last month and loved it so when I saw that this series was on audible I was like yes please.

This series started out very light, typical high school stuff and then it went and become both heartbreaking but also very suspenseful. There's just so many things happening. I literally stopped breathing at the height of those suspenseful moments.

Ethan. Oh Ethan. I love you so much. I loved all these guys but Ethan will forever have a special place in my heart. He's like my boy Stitches, so sweet and heartbreaking. Reading has made me learn that I have a soft spot for sad, broken boys. I just want to hug them. I definitely wanted to hug Ethan, and I am not usually big on touching.

The third book in this series is only the guys pov. I thought that was very clever of the author, we hadn't gotten much from them before that so I loved the insight into their thoughts and feelings.

I loved this series and I hope to read more by KG Reuss in the future.

** Writing this review under the assumption that those reading it, have read the first one and as such, there will be some spoilers from the first book **

2.5

I’m starting to think that I read a different book than all those leaving 5 star reviews?? Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE a strong heroine but Rosalie goes from meek and weak to a straight up b word. This book was riddled with miscommunication and it could’ve been resolved if she had just listened to what they had to say - not that she owed them that but to then seek revenge and in the WORST way possible??

I mean for God’s sake . I understand this is meant to be a dark book but there were so many mismanaged situations and things that just made me roll my eyes.

What I do like is that we get to kind of explore and learn what kind of “role” each guy plays in the harem but I feel like some characters get less time to really showcase their personality. Maybe we’ll see more of them in the upcoming books - there are two more to be fair.

I’m a glutton for punishment though and continued to read because I never do anything halfway and while I’m hoping that the series gets better, I’m fully prepared for it not to be.

Also, can we please talk about how . I’m sure that I’ll see this as just a girl who was way in over her head and maybe I’ll revise this review.

I just feel like this book does not need to be stretched in four other books and it pains me when authors attempt to do just that.

Welllll where the fuck should i start, i can say that this book was just so annoying. Everyone made stupid decision and thought they did the right fucking thing..... For one, i HATED the fact that all guys had to fuck and be with the enemy nasty ass Juliet, that nasty hoe ughhh! Cuz they wanted to protect the heroin Rosie. Noooo way, they could have done so much things than give in and fuck that hoeee. I am feeling ugly when i think about that, there is one thing when the manwhores aka the guys has slept with a lot of other girls before the heroin comes into the picture or when they are having a thing together that´s no problem. But when they sleep with the girl who wants to hurt and kill the heroin when they had something together.... naahhh brooo
Rosalie or Rosie was also so damn stupid and went for the guy who had tried to rape you, what the hell girl?? she could have picked any other guy than that bitch to make them jealous but no.

Annd like i felt in the first book, why is there so many petty girls who throws out the word whore and slut... i am so over that. Even her supposed friend called her whore.. is there any normal girls out there?
My heart broke for Ethan tho, i felt all the pain
Fox is weak and i have lost all hope
Ethan is the better of the assholes
Cole knows what he wants and is not afraid but annyoing
Enzo was the dark and mysterious guy

Ummmm what just happened...?
Like how da fuck and why da fuck did I keep reading 🙄
This went from ooo drama to omfg this a poorly written soap opera.
So let me start off by saying that the first book was nothing like this one, but I should’ve known better.
First off, the dialogue became hella repetitive, like hella! It’s as if the author couldn’t come up with anything else and just had Rosalie repeat herself every freaking day. “I shall get my revenge” or something along those lines. Lol
And then Fox with “I love you, come back, it’s not what it looks like” Like GURL we get it! Move it along....
Also the whole Ian shtick, B O R I N G. Didn’t like it and it got hella cliché and annoying.
Oh and that’s not even the best part! Rosalie gets preggers...
Like the author rlly thought hmmm, you know what would be even more fun, if the MC has a bby. 😐
Like this book is already hella unrealistic but this just ruined the whole fantasy for me...such unnecessary drama tbh.
So for that I shall give up on this series. Oh well 😒

Rosalie is no longer the underdog. She comes in to her own and is set for revenge. While I do think if Rosalie took a minute to breath and let the guys explain she’d realise the guys did have genuine feelings but it was good to read about her fighting her way through each day. It must be said partnering with Ian was the worst idea 🤦🏻‍♀️ I think highly of her that part of her did it to protect her friend Jamie but if she’d just enlisted the help of the guys. I thought they would do more when they realised Ian was beating her.
The author lost me a bit with the pregancy, personal preference I’m not a big fan of high school pregnancy stories however it fitted in extremely well with Ian and his crazy!! My opinion of that aside it was still a good read and a well written plot. The drama totally unfolded at the end and I loved seeing the sneak peak of the othet side of Enzo and his mafia family, I hope there’s more of this in book 3.

OMG guys! This book is going to break all your feels!! It's so so good!! It's twisted, dark, and deceptive. Rosalie has declared war on her men and her men have vowed to get her back no matter the cost. SWOON!!! The question is...will they come out the other side intact or will they be irreparably broken? I won't spoil the surprise...trust me, you definitely WILL NOT WANT TO MISS THIS!!!

This series is way too over the top ridiculous. This is a series set in high school yet the violence and criminal behavior is through the roof... Also there's all sorts of miscommunication garbage that could be totally cleared up if she would just damn well let the boys explain what the hell is going on.
I was super frustrated and I'm not continuing.

The series started fairly promisingly.

This book had me scrunching up my nose a little.

Potential spoilers below

.

.

- I really really REALLY hate the miscommunication trope. It’s so….ugh. I don’t want to call it lazy writing, because it can be done well on occasion.
Unfortunately this wasn’t one of them.
For heavens sake. Just TALK. You see each other ALL THE TIME. Just say:
“That bitch is making me fuck her because she has dirt on you.”
“What!? That’s dang awful. You really don’t need to do that. Let’s
A) talk to our parents
B) talk to the authorities
C) get dirt on her and blackmail her ass back
D) Don’t do anything and just move on together.

“Ok.”

There. That’s all that needed to happen.
A 4 second conversation.

So it’s safe to say this irritated me.
The stakes were not high enough for the drama in this, in my opinion. It felt all blown out of proportion.

The last 25% of the book was paced better and had more meaningful plot to it.

Also…are you a DOORMAT????
Ugh I like some character growth. But wowzers I like my female characters to have some flipping backbone. Gosh she was a total doormat with Ian.

⭐️ Plot: 3/5
🌶️ Spice: 3/5
📖 Genre: Dark Bully Romance
🏞️ Setting: School
🗣️ POV: Single
🛏️ Tropes:
- abuse (physical and mental)
- OW/OM drama
- found family
- brothers bond
- reverse harem
- miscommunication
- revenge drama
- blackmail

What a read

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

So then. Who do I need to give my soul to so I can get book 3 earlier? I’ll give mine and throw in some extras. I’ll do what I gotta do. This book guys, it is SO good and I am NOT ok. I’ve ignored all responsibilities and binge read both books in less than 24 hours. I LOVED book 1, but man book 2 had everything going on and was even better.

I loved the couple of chapters we got from some of the guys, you all know how obsessed I am with multiple POV’s and those were brilliant. This book continues on from In Ruins. Rosalie feeling heartbroken and betrayed wants to seek revenge against the guys (without even know the truth), she’s so righteous in what she thinks she knows that it just made me want to shake my kindle in hopes I could shake some sense into her. The guys are doing whatever they think they have to do to protect her, meanwhile she ends up in a worse situation. Blinded by her need for revenge and with Ian doing what Ian does, she ends up trapped.

Ian 🔪🔪🔪 I wanted to believe he was redeemable, but the things he does in this book. He is one messed up little cookie.

Juliet’s story is also clearly not finished, that has all been left out there ready for book 3. I hope she gets what she deserves. Preferably from Enzo’s family business 😬

I went through all the emotions with this book and have firmly fell in love with the sweetest (and possible most damaged) Ethan. My heart 🖤💔 I just wanted to wrap him up in the biggest hug I could give.

Everyone goes through something in this book and K.G takes you right along with them.

If you have triggers then you need to heed the trigger warning (which I loved by the way!) at the beginning of the book. This book is darker then book 1.

I am so conflicted right now, I want to cry and just re-read In ruins and In silence while impatiently waiting for the next book but I also want to flip the table and throw a tantrum because I have to wait. hmmmm.... LOL!

In all seriousness, Reuss is a genius. The way this story is written and now amazing the characters are, it is genius. I love reading, it's so important to me and helps me a million times over with my mental health. I have been finding it harder and harder to find books that keep me up all night, keep turning the pages even when I have to work or be a mommy in the morning. This series? It's perfect. I honestly don't have a single bad thing to say about it. I suggest anyone who loves a good romance mixed with f*cked up and a whole lot of hot to read this! 1000000% READ THIS BOOK.

I am fangirling over this book, oh god I'm sorry but I can't help it.
This book along with the series will literally keep you on the edge of your seat. It will make you want to rage, yell, scream, Cry and leave you all hot and bothered at the same time.

Fast paced and full of angst!

This was a great read! It’s hard to find books that keep you turning pages throughout the whole thing, but this one has that vibe! I didn’t want to stop!

There was plenty of angst and steam, but the drama got turned way up in this sequel! I did minus 1 star because I was getting super frustrated with Rosalie not wanting to hear Fox and the guys out. I mean he tried over and over to at least explain what was going on, but she just kept walking off and wouldn’t talk to them. Granted, the whole situation was actually a little irritating bc it kept playing out on repeat with Fox, Rosalie and Juliette. It never sits well with me when the other party has to keep boning someone else...

But OMG...that cliffhanger! Please don’t make me wait 5 months for the 3rd book, that will wreck me!
