It was shocking to me when Nobingo was revealed to be the King of Deaderland and not Nomen. It's interesting because he has a penchant for people who have strong desires, which now connects to my current question: Where is Chiharu in such a big movement as this one?

Then, I remembered Chiharu's characteristics - his features are "woody", the same as Nobingo. So I had a hunch that maybe Chiharu truly is the ultimare villain of this manga (which I have been wanting to happen ever since he was introduced in the earlier volumes).

And there was it. Chapter 113 revealed Nobingo as Chiharu, and boy did I make an effort to stop myself from squealing in ecstacy. I like Chiharu's character; he is my second favorite after Mikazuchi, right before Mikazuchi became part of DDL. Seeing him in this arc and giving myself the confirmation that he was the ultimate antagonist of the manga made me feel really, really good.

Overall I enjoyed this series very much. I thought it was a fun ride. I thought of it as a much more mature version of Yu Yu Hakusho. If you are easily offended by hentai and tentacle porn then this won’t be for you. There is a lot of grape and suggested grape. Other then that if you grew up on violent 90’s Japanese cartoons then you might find some of this nostalgic. Viewers beware.

I would highly recommend this to anyone into manga. I find it that he’s changed so much compared to the first book.
